as for first love...it is indeed special...but it does not necessarily have to be the best or the last. people can fall in love more than once in a lifetime. in real life, the love that bajaj and prerna have is true love coz they have lived with each other for 28 years and that is no easy feat! in my la-la land, i still think that anu and prerna's love is the best and the greatest 😆

First of all, there should not be any denial to the FACT that Kasauti is the story of anurag-prerna. It started as their love-story. Like sujal-kashish, pratham-gauri, mihir-tulsi, angad-kripa, Anu-prerna are the couple of KZK. Ekta has always said that kasauti is "not a saas-bahu saga, it is a love-story. "
Others like komolika, bajaj, aparna are side-characters. They are supposed to either turn negative or die- like piyush died in KTH.

This was how things looked till last year. BUT..a major change happened.. Ekta showed Prerna falling in love with Rishabh Bajaj..worse still, she showed prerna saying that she was in love with bajaj god knows since when..but she wasn't able to express or realise that love and was mistaking that love as 'friendship'. This was a shocker.. because in no other serial, the heroine suddenly declares that she was secretly in love with the 'other man' all these years.
By making Prerna a secret admirer of bajaj, Ekta definitely managed a big twist.

Bajaj getting nominated for best husband and bajaj-prerna for best couple in SPA, bajaj winning over anurag in the best father category, , Ronit Roy getting nominated as 'best actor in lead role' for mr Bajaj in various award functions..it all shows that viewers love and prefer bajaj. Rekha Modi- the script-writer went on the record saying "KzK's success is due to the chemistry between Prerna and Bajaj". It says a lot..coming from the script-writer herself..Today, when I see KZK, I dont see anu-prerna and the red stole every time during ad -breaks. I see prerna, udi, bajaj and the focus is on the relationship of prerna and bajaj.

It is a classic example of how original story (of anu-prerna) gets butchered to suit public demand.

The idea that Prerna has feelings for Bajaj due to his support and favours to her, may be soothing to some anu-fans' hearts 😆 But unfornately, Prerna thinks otherwise. She thinks bajaj hasnt done anything 4 her, compared to what she has done 4 him, and he should be grateful to her.

Why does she love him then?? I guess love is blind, and some women do have attraction for the 'bigda hua shehzaada' type of men. They think it is romantic to take a bad guy and 'reform' him. 😕 I would never be able to tolerate a husband like Bajaj- especially like he was earlier.. MEANIE.

From where Prerna got the idea to love that MEANIE..don't know.. maybe becoz opposites attract . Bajaj is plain lucky, nothing else !

Wicked post again Tulip!! I agree with the first two portions that I have outlined...perrrfectly agree with you..

But I do disagree with the last part when you say that Bajaj is plain lucky...it's actually the other way around..it's madame Prerna who's lucky that she's got someone as wonderful as Bajaj and still ever so willing to take her "pehla-pyaar" crappp...it's Prerna who is lucky enough that Rishu still maintained his 'interest' in her even after sooo many years..I can only dreammmm someone like Bajaj but I wud hate to imagine a man who has a wife like Prerna..yucksssssss
