"I am on a prolonged sabbatical," says Urvashi, who's been missing from Kasautii Zindagi Kay for quite some time. Is it true that she has walked out of the show because she is unhappy with her fee? "Whoever told you this has his facts mixed.
There was a mutual understanding between Ekta and me; I explained my situation to her and requested a break, which was due for a long time."
But isn't it true that the actress asked for a raise? "It isn't only me; a lot of other actors too had their contracts renewed. Also there wasn't any fight or drama. I am very much a part of Balaji, and they are my second family."
Mystery illness
So when do we see the actress, shimmering in full make-up, back as the scheming Komolika?
"I am still recovering from an ailment, which I don't want to discuss — it was fatigue, stress and a lot of other things put together. I have been on a break for almost a month-and-a-half. Doctors have put me on medication for the next three months, so I want to take it slow and easy."
Kids were home
Diwali, as always, was hectic for the actress, as the kids — Kshitij and Sagar (10-year-old twins) were back home from boarding school in Panchgani. "They were busy bursting crackers morning to night. I love pampering them when they are home," says the actress.
On the work front, there were reports that she is doing Star Plus's, Baa Bahoo Aur Baby. "It was the most insane thing I read. Both J D (the producer) and I were laughing over it; I was never offered that show."
UK jaunt planned
When asked if she's in touch with her Kasautii co-stars she says, "I switch myself off from work when I am at home. I don't know anyone then. It's only when I go on the sets that I interact with those people." As for her New Year plans, Dholakia will most likely be in London. "I am planning to go to UK in December, and splurge on lots of clothes and cosmetics."

Big plans
Urvashi affirms reports of getting into producing entertainment shows for the masses.
"Yes it is true that I am launching my own production company along with my close friend Shanela Kapoor. It will be titled Zephyr. As of now it's in the initial stages, so I cant reveal much.
When I launch it there will be a big dhamaka for sure", she says in her signature style. Also Dholakia is looking forward to perform at the up coming TV awards.
"Yes I am all excited about doing the show. The last time I performed people said I had put on some weight and complimented me. So I am all looking forward to entertain."
Love, Akram
