Henna, Jai is difficult to potray because though Bani does the Jasoosi work, Jai has to undergo the torture because of the Jasoosi! 😆 Its only RK as Jai for me, no doubts!!

I really don't think that Eijaz and Iqbal would want to play a much older man! 😆 Plus, Iqbal is good but never sticks to a show!

Hehehehe! oye! the autor of the post asked for my opinion and i just simply stated the actors i know in the tellywood world.. i dnt know anyone else.. other then alok nath, but i dnt see him as a JW im afraid! 😳

actually all that kismat crying.. im sure within the first few months IK would do a runner! wise choice tho 😆

RK is the best in tellyworld as far as I am concerned. He can never be replaced.

RK has made the role iconic, any actor can copy its the original that remains in the viewers imagination, with PD going her character has not only had a face lift but a much needed maturity was added, i always thought BW could fight back more and meet out some much needed justice as Durga but that never happened, i miss PD as Bani immensely and GD is a good replacement she has that don't mess with me attitude which i like and can be developed in the show, any one else as Jai Walia is no, no for me, their is no room for the character to grow, he's mature man with grown up children what more can Ekta do !!!!!!

Sammy, I knew you would come and defend Munna...

What you said is true...I think if RK was given a better JW to play, I would be the first one to sit up and applaud. This JW role doesn't have any intricate role playing. It's sort of bland, and ignorant husband/father role.

That's why I think any one can play JW's role. RK can play this role with his eyes closed, but he should be given a more challenging role.

Sharan, I agree about PD not suiting the role after 16 years, but my point was that there were people who were not willing to accept her being replaced, even knowing all the facts. For them, Bani was PD...

They already closed his eyes (halfway) with the glasses...

One thing I wanted to remind people is that PD was a good actress in the beginning of the serial, when she had a good role to play, it wasn't her idea to peal mattar and it wasn't her idea to burn the photographs.

The creatives wrote a weak part for her. She had fire in her eyes, played the Feisty bani against Jigyasa, against Ranveer, her acting when JW was in the hospital was superb, her acting when she found out about JW's ONS was magnificent.

I really appreciated the way PD played Bani in the first one year. Then the role went south with all the leaps and she had too many things on her plate to do justice.

Now the writers are doing the same to JW's character. It's really utterly boring role for an experienced actor to play.

Isn't it the same for Gurdeep, seems she will be going back and forth trying to show JW Ganga is bad and then those repeats of going to kali maa mandir and making vows. Repeat scenes just with something changed, yesterday bedromm, now club next where? 😕

True, but at least she is a newbie to the serial, if you play the same stuff over and over again, any one would get bored. Who knows, after three months, RK might pick up and leave too...May be RK fans can follow him to some other show while the new fans of the new actor who replaces KS can still watch it.

I think a lot depends on the writers...the actors get credit if the story is good, the writers get a whack on their heads when the story is bad.
