Since you want to learn to cook, how about pad thai.

Chop veggie, stir fry for five min, add soy sauce, couple of tablespoon of peanut butter with a cup of water and some hot sauce or a teaspoon of hot chilli powder. once it starts bubbling turn off. soak rice noodle in water for five minute add to vege and stir it...ready in few min...better than making sabzi and roti.

If you are really lazy then spread pasta sauce on a tortilla, add cheese, top with another and brush with oil and cookon both sides till cheese melts.

pau bhaji.

Cut up brinjal(aubergine, eggplant, ringan), potatoes, put it in pan with some water to boil, add some frozen mix veg. Boil for 15 min. In the meantime. Add oil to pan, add lots of chopped or canned tomatoes(cheat use pasta sauce) add your usual masala. simmer. when veggie boiled put through food processor, add to tomatoes shimmer for five minute. add some pau bhaji masala. butter some bread fry on one side and serve with your bhaji(if like eating raw onion add some chopped on top)
