Hi fellow KS-ians...😃😃😃

well as many of you know i am MOTW 😕😕...😳😳...mitu1228, my jaanu mitu newest SIT member...gave me a task to write a ss about ganga being saved, JB reuniting but meera still being on good terms with the Walia's.

now mamta's task was to post it on the forum as a new thread for the ss...so here it is...i hope you all like it and enjoy it...remember it is JB so no worried about JM here...hope you do read...please dont forget to comment...looking forward to it...😃😃😃

Starts off where the old preview left off…Jai in the Dr. office….

Dr- Mr. Walia, I highly recommend that we have this conversation with your wife. Where is Mrs. Walia?

J- Why doctor, what does Meera have to do with this?

Dr- Well I would think she has a great deal to do with this matter, after all she is Ganga's mother?

J- Meera? I think you misunderstood dr.

Just then Meera walks in with Bani. The doctor looks at both women, highly confused.

Dr- Well it is good that you are here Mrs. Walia, I wanted to discuss possible treatments for Ganga's condition.

M- With me?

Dr- Yes, with you, what is it with you people? Why do you all react like that when I mention Ganga's mother? Anyway, lets get down to business. I will be blunt with you, Ganga's cancer is advancing much slower then we had thought it would have. Right now the only thing that could save her life is a bone-marrow transplant. The sooner it is done the better. In situations like this I recommend that the parents of the suffering child, have another child because that child will be a match for the transplant.

'WHAT!' everyone yelled.

Dr- Yes, basically I am saying that Mr. and Mrs. Walia, you need to have another child to save your daughter.

The doctor was looking right a Meera and Jai. Jai and Bani didn't have the face to say anything, what were they going to say to the doctor. After a moments silence it was Meera that spoke…

M- Dr, I think you don't understand the situation. I am not Ganga's mother.

Dr- What? But you are Mrs. Walia, are you not?

M- Yes, I am Mrs. Walia, now, but Ganga is not my child. She is Bani's child (Meera pulled Bani closer) Bani is the ex-Mrs. Walia.

Dr- Oh…I see.

The doctor fell silent, he felt like he had put his foot so far up his mouth that he was never going to get it out. He kept going on and on about Mrs. Walia and Ganga's mother, that he didn't realize he was talking about Meera's sautan.

Dr- I'm sorry, I didn't know.

B- It is ok doctor, you couldn't have. But as you can see, that solution is just not possible…nor will it be possible.

M- But Bani, this is about Ganga's life, how can you walk away from the only solution.

J- Meera is right, we have to do this.

B- No, I will not be that woman in Meera-ji's life. She has done too much for me already. Doctor, there has to be another way.

M- But…

(B4 Meera could finish the doctor spoke)

Dr- Well there might be one thing…

B- Yes, doctor, what is it?

Dr- Well often times it has happened where we were able to find a match for the child from another family member…it never hurt anyone to get tested. I mean it is a painful process to get tested, but if we are able to find a match, then God willing, Ganga will be fine. Although, it would be better if we had a sibling…

B- She does! She has a brother.

Jai and Meera looked at Bani like she had lost her mind, what the hell was she talking about.

J- Bani, how does Ganga have a brother? Our other children died years ago.

B- Yes, 'our' children did, but not all of your children.

J- What…

M- Oh my God, Veer.

Jai felt like such a jerk, he had forgotten his own son. After he had kicked Bani out of the house, he had sent Veer to a boarding school with Varun. That way they both got good education and Jai wasn't constantly reminded of the pain the Dixit sisters had caused him and his heart.

Dr- You have another child Mr. Walia?

J- Y…yes I do. His name is Veer, he is away at boarding school now.

Dr- Well, I suggest that you bring him back immediately so that we could get the testing done ASAP.

B- Doctor, do you think that the fact that Veer is Mr. Walia and my sister, Pia's child will make a difference in the outcome.

Dr- Mr. Walia's child with your sister!? Never mind lets not go there…lets stick to what is important. To answer your question Bani, yes that could be all the more reason that Veer could be a match.

J- Good, I'll send for him immediately.

Dr- In the mean time, I think that other family members could get tested as well, you can never be too careful in these things. The more people you test, the more chances you have of finding a match.

J- Consider it done doctor, just please…save my baby.

Soon Jai, Meera and Bani walked down to the waiting room where the entire Walia clad had gathered: Nattu, Purva, Raashi, Rano, Massi, Aditya, Karuna, Jigayasa, Dadi. When Jai had explained the situation they all agreed to go for the bone marrow testing. Massi and Dadi were also willing but Nattu and Jai had decided not to let them go through with it; they were older women and such a procedure could hamper their own health. After much battle, Massi and Dadi finally gave in.

One by one they took their tests. Jai and Bani had been praying to themselves and to God to save their child. The both sat by her bedside as she slept in a state of sedation. Meera watched both parents as they kept vigil over their daughter. Odd, that at a moment like this, her husband and his ex with their child, the only thought that came to her mind is how lucky Ganga was to have time.

As the new day dawned everyone hoped that the new day would bring good news. The doctor came to meet them, but didn't have a good look on his face. He finally broke the news; no one was a match for Ganga. The family was crushed, but none more so than Ganga's parents. Their only hope was Veer.

It was late in the afternoon when Jai got a call from his driver announcing that he was half an hour away from the hospital with Veer. Once Bani had heard, her eyes never left the door as she waited for Veer. One part of her couldn't wait to have him tested to see if he matched Ganga's bone marrow, another part of her wanted to hold him after all these years, after all, he was her son too.

It was nearly 45min later that Bani saw a boy walking shyly down the hall. He had changed form the last time she had seen him; he was taller, thinner and she could tell just by looking at him that he wasn't the fun-loving Veer she had left behind. But something's never changed; his curly hair, and the sparkle in his eyes. As he approached the family, he began fidgeting with his hands and was hesitant. He finally came to a stop in front of Bani, who then bent down to be eye to eye with him.

B- Veer? How are you beta?

V- I'm ok (his voice was almost inaudible)

B- You are not going to hug your Mamma?

Veer looked at her through his eye lashes, shy and unsure of what to do. Bani opened her arms out for him, and it didn't take but a second before he flung himself at her.

V- Why did you leave me Mamma, why? First Pia Mom and then you, no one wants me.

B- Hey, beta, never say that. I had to leave, I couldn't help it. If I could I would stay with you forever.

V- You wont leave this time?

B- No, never.

V- Promise?

B- Yes.

Veer hugged his mother once again. Everyone looked on in amazement at Veer. When he came home for the holidays he never spoke but a few words, that too only to Meera and Rano. Here he was having a full on conversation with a woman he was seeing after 6 years.

B- Veer beta, do you know that you have a sister?

V- Really?

B- Yes, her name is Ganga. But beta, she is sick, and she needs your help to get better.

V- Mine?

B- Yes, the doctor is going to do a test on you to see if you match Ganga, because if you do, then you can use your bone marrow and give it to Ganga.

V- If I match and give Ganga my bone marrow, will she be better?

B- We are praying that she will. So will you go with the doctor?

Veer shook his head in the positive and everyone let out a breath that they didn't realize they were holding. Veer reluctantly let go of Bani's hand; it wasn't until she promised that she would be right outside the door waiting for him, that he let go.

The family paced back and forth in the waiting room waiting for Veer to come and the results as well. Veer had finally come out, and sat down not moving; they all knew that he was in pain, for a boy of his age, he was handling it very well. He sat next to Bani and put his head on her lap as she stroked his head. Meera and Massi were busy trying to look after everyone, trying to get them to eat something. It wasn't working, but they tired none the less.

A few hours later the doctor came into the waiting room, his face unreadable.

J- What happened doctor? Is Veer a match?

Dr- I am happy to say Mr. Walia that Veer is a good match for Ganga.

B- Oh, Thank God…

Dr- Now that we have found the match, we have to do this transplant as soon as possible. I already have Ganga put on the surgery board for tomorrow morning; that way we give Veer a little chance to recover from todays procedure.

J- Ok, great, no problem doctor.

Dr- Good, then see you all tomorrow morning.

M- Thank you doctor.

The next morning Bani and Jai were torn in two, both their children were being wheeled into surgery, and all they could do was pray to make sure that everything went well. Bani and Meera sat in front of the mandir with Massi and Dadi as they all prayed for Ganga and Veer. Purva and Rano had gone home to cook something since they were all running on no fuel, and also to see what exactly what Jigyasa and Karuna were up to since they left the hospital long ago.

Jai watched the odd site in front of him; his wife and ex-wife praying with the mother figure in his life for the only thing that mattered in his life. It was ironic that the son he had pushed away for so many years, was now the only hope for his daughter living. He couldn't figure what was a bigger joke, his life or this situation.

After what seemed like countless hours the doctor came out and told the family that the transplant went smoothly; now they had to wait and see Ganga's blood report to see if the transplant worked. That night Jai and Bani stayed with Ganga. Bani wanted to be with Veer but she couldn't leave Ganga. Meera then offered to sit with Veer and she would call Bani if anything happened.

A few days had passed but no luck in Ganga's reports. It was the morning of the third day after the surgery that they finally got some good news. Ganga's blood count was picking up and things looked promising. Meera had been outside the door when the doctor delivered the news to Jai and Bani. When the doctor left, a smiling Meera walked in.

M- I head the news…I'm happy for you both. (she hugged Bani)

B- Thank you Meera-ji, for everything.

M- Don't mention it, after all I did it for my family. (after a small pause) Well, I will be seeing you…and Jai…my lawyer will be in touch.

J- Lawyer?

M- Yes, about the divorce.

B- Divorce?

M- Of course, you didn't expect me to stay with Jai now that you are back?

B- But…

M- But nothing, you were, are and will always be Jai's one and only love. A twist in fate brought you together, love made you one, a misunderstanding tore you apart, but it was this small child that brought you together. Who am I to stand in the way?

(Meera took Bani's hand and placed it in Jai's hand)

M- I am returning your amant to you Bani, take care of him.

(she turned to leave)

J- Meera, where will you go? Let me help…

M- No, don't worry about me. I will find my way…I always do.

With that Meera walked out of the hospital room, leaving Jai and Bani holding hands.

3 yr Leap

B- Mr. Walia, will you go get ready of keep playing video games with the kids!?

J- Aare baba, I'm going, just one more game.

B- Enough is enough…

Bani went behind the television set and unplugged it. A roar went up in the room as Ganga, Veer and Jai all complained.

B- I don't want to hear it, all of you go get ready! I am not messing around.

V- But Mamma…

B- No but's; who ever is last to get ready will have diaper duty for the next two weeks.

That worked, that got them all up and running to their rooms. Bani laughed as she watched her kids and husband. She couldn't help but smile at life; she had her Veer, Ganga and Jai…but 9months ago, they were blessed with another girl, Naina. Naina had become the center of the family, especially her older brother and sister…they spoiled her rotten.

-----

After Ganga's transplant everything was good for the Walia's. Saved by Veer's bone marrow, Ganga didn't have any relapses, thank God. Ganga and Veer had become the best of friends; Ganga just couldn't stop talking about her Veer bhaia; the were inseparable. Seeing Veer with the family, Jai had decided to bring Veer back home; the boys happiness was the only thing that mattered, after all, Jai owed him for saving his Ganga's life.

A few months after Ganga was released from the hospital Jai and Bani got remarried. His divorce with Meera didn't take long at all because it was very clean, she didn't want anything. Meera had become independent, and was working as a financial analysis in Kapoor Industries. They had remained great friends. In fact, Bani and Meera had become great friends, best friends. Meera and Jai had an odd but sweet relationship; she called him Jiju…it didn't matter that she had been married to him before; it was only on paper anyway, not in any other way. Ganga, Veer and all the other kids called her Meera Massi and they loved her to death; after she spoiled them all to death. Every time she came she had a video games for Veer and Varun, she had bead jewelry for Ganga (she loved that stuff), she had musical toys for Druv (Nattu and Purvas son) and now she began bringing stuffed animals for Naina. It didn't matter if she came today and then again tomorrow, she still brought gifts. She was a member of the family.

It was actually the day of Meera's wedding. She had met and fell in love with Shiv Kapoor, president and CEO of Kapoor Industries. Bani was her maid of honor and was running late. If she didn't get to the place of the wedding in an hour, Meera was going to kill her.

B- If you people don't get down…

Before Bani could finish her sentence she turned to see her family in front of her. Jai stood in his signature black suit, Veer copying his father in a black suit as well, Ganga in a pretty pink dress, and Naina cradled in the arms of her father in a lavender dress.

Bani smiled; even thought she had suffered tremendous pain in her life…she could honestly say…she was BLESSED.

hope you all liked it
