Bani was so shocked of what was happening that she didn't even know how to react. Everyone was still staring and had no clue of what was going on.
Meera:
What's going on? Do you know her? Jai:
Jiju what's going on? How do you know Bani? Bani had finally realized what was going on, and she pushed him off of her, and started to cry and yell at Meera's husband.
Bani:
Why? Why did you leave? Where were you for so long? MH:
Please listen to me! I... Bani:
I don't want to hear a thing! You left us, and now you're back! For what? To see if we're dead or alive? What do you think of yourself? When you want you can leave, and when you want you can come back? MH:
Please just hear me out will you! It's not like I wanted to be away from you. I've missed you so much you have no idea! Bani dropped to the ground crying like crazy, and Meera's husband kneeled down in front of her, and gave her a hug. They were like that for a couple of minutes until Bani stopped crying a little. Everyone around them were still so clueless about what was going on. they weren't too sure if they should say anything or not. Meera started to get tears in her eyes thinking that her husband might have had a past with Bani or something. Jai on the other hand was just confused. Not sad, not angry, just plain confused. His eyes were popping out the entire time this was happening. Now he had even more questions going through his head. Maybe more than Meera and everyone else.
Meera:
What's going on? Jai:
Bani, how do you know him? Bani didn't say anything for a little while and neither did Meera's husband.
Jai:
Bani... Bani:
This...This is...Mohan... Jai:
Yeah even I know that, but how do you know him? Bani:
This is my brother, your friend Mohan! Jai wasn't expecting that as an answer in a million years and same went for Meera. There was complete silence in the room. Only Jai and Meera knew what Bani was saying (mostly Jai), but the others were just standing there clueless, but Raashi sorta got what was going on.
Jai:
What! How? When?... Meera took a sigh of relief, but she was still confused.
Meera:
I thought you said that your brother was dead. Bani:
I also thought the same, but I guess that now Mohan will have to tell us what happened because I'm more confused than most of you in this room. They all sat on the couch with both Meera and Bani sitting beside Mohan, and everyone sitting around them. They were all anxious to find out what happened to Mohan and how Bani came into all this.
Mohan:
Well, all I remember was that I was in the plane for me to go to university, but something went wrong. The next thing I knew was that the plane crashed and then I woke up in a hospital. After that or before that, I don't know what happened to me. Meera:
I worked near the place where the plane crashed. It was in the middle on the lake really sort of close to shore. I was going home that day, when I heard a loud bang, and I turned and saw that a plane had crashed in the water. After a little while, I saw Mohan floating in the water, and he was drowning as he was unconscious. Bani:
Oh God! Then what? Meera:
Then I saw that most of the people that were in the water were mostly dead and it wasn't a pretty sight to see. The police started showing up and everything. I had taken Mohan out of the water and put him the my car, then took hi to a hospital. He had a lot of blood loss due to the delay and a lot of water had went into his lungs and everything. The doctor told me to find out about his family, but I didn't really know a thing about you or anybody, and I just said that he was my husband, because they needed a family to sign the papers, otherwise they wouldn't be able to treat him properly. At this point, Bani was on the verge of crying again, but Mohan held her hand and gave her a comforting look to make her feel better. Jai saw this, and felt really angry and upset inside to see her sad all the time.
Meera:
I went home to get changed and to get Mohan some cloths, but when i came back, the doctor told me he was in a coma. Bani:
WHAT? Meera:
He was like that for a while, so he was in the hospital for a long time. About 3 years or so. I didn't come back to Bombay, since I couldn't leave him like that. So I stayed in Dubai until Mohan had gained consciousness. After about 3 years, Mohan came out of the coma, but had forgotten everything. Bani:
You mean that he had lost his memory? Meera:
Yes...he didn't remember who he was, where he came from, nothing. Bani closed her eyes, and Mohan held her hand for support. Jai felt upset that he couldn't console when he wanted to the most. He sat across from her and studies her carefully. Her every tear said something different. They let out all sorts of emotions that she was felling at that moment. Some anger, some sadness, some happiness, a little bit of everything. He was thinking about what Meera had told him earlier about how Bani was strong on the outside, but on the inside, she needed someone to love and support her. She wasn't as strong as she appeared to be.
Jai:
Then what happened? You never really told us how you two met and got married and everything, so we're all very curious to find out. Meera:
When Mohan met me, he thought we were actually married since that's what I told the doctor. I took home and started to look after him as much as I could. During this time, I started to fall in love with him, but I couldn't tell him since he might have had someone in his past. So I just kept quiet for a while. Mohan:
When I got my memory back a few months ago, I asked Mmera to marry me. We got married, and after we moved here. A few days later I started to go and look for you and Rano in Mount Abu and the some other places. I was going to call the police if I couldn't find either of you, but I found you now, so I'm happy. Everyone talked more with Mohan and Meera and found out that Bani was his sister and why he was going to London and then the plane crashed, etc. Everyone had their mouths open the whole time excluding Jai since he already knew this. He quietly went outside for some fresh air which is what he needed at that moment. Bani noticed that Jai wasn't in the room, so she also went to find Jai, and found him outside leaning against the railing, and just looking up into the stars.
Bani came up to him, but didn't say anything. She put her hand on his shoulder. Jai felt someone's hand on his shoulder, so he turned his head to look over his shoulder to find Bani there. Jai turned around completely to face her, but they weren't saying anything.
Jai:
You ok? Bani:
Hmm...It's just so weird to have Mohan back again. I thought he was dead, but it's like he's a ghost or something. It all just seems so unreal. Jai:
I know what you mean... Bani:
You ok? Jai:
I'm fine... The just stood there together and looked at the stars together. Mausi was calling Bani inside, and Bani heard Mausi calling, so she had turned around to go inside, when she felt someone pull her hand a slight bit to stop her from going. She turned around to see Jai's hand holding her's.
Jai:
Bani...I know that I haven't talked to you that much since yesterday, but it's not because I think that you are a bad person or I don't want to be friends anymore. It's just that I need time for all this to sink in, but don't ever think that you've lost this friend of your's. I'll always be there for you, whenever you need me. Bani didn't need to say anything else after what Jai had just said. She understood that he needed time to think about everything, and for it to sink in, and she wasn't going to rush him into anything. She knew it would take a few days, so she wasn't upset at all. Infact Bani was very happy that Jai was still ready to be her friend after this. She didn't know of he still had the same feelings for her as before, but she didn't care anymore, cause all she wanted was a friend for now and that's what she got. The best friend that anyone could ask for.
Bani left and went inside to Mausi, leaving jai alone outside. After a while, jai came back inside, and went upstairs to his study. As he was going to his study, he passed by Bani's room and saw that she was packing her things in a suitcase. He was getting worried, so he went inside and asked her what she was doing.
Jai:
Bani, why are you packing your stuff? Bani:
I'm leaving tomorrow morning that's why. Jai:
Where are you going? Bani:
Mohan told me to pack my things and to go and live with his and Meera, so I'm going to be staying with them. Jai:
You're leaving? Don't you like it here? Bani:
I do, but now I have Mohan, so it's ok. I don't want to be a burden on you or anyone anymore. Jai:
Who told you that? You can never be a burden on us you understand. You might actually be the only reason that I've been home fore so many days, otherwise, I'm at work all the time. Bani:
I'll come and visit you and everyone else if that's what you're worried about. You can also come see me, and you can also see Meera while you're at since. Jai:
It's just that I'll miss having you around. Talking to you, and just spending time with you. Bani:
Me too...You're the only person that I've told so much too, so you are obviously a special person to me. Jai and Bani talked a little bit and Jai helped Bani pack, and Bani went to sleep. Jai tucked her in, and left the room. Before he left he turned around and looked at her sleep. She looked so innocent, so perfect, like an angel when she slept. He turned out the lights and went to his study, and just sat in his chair thinking about Bani.
He was thinking that she's leaving tomorrow. He wanted her to stay, but he knew that he wanted a little time for everything to sink for him, but he would really miss Bani. Even though she had many problems in her life, she's still strong enough to keep going and is alive today only for Rano, and now Mohan too. he really admired her strength towards every problem that came her way. The best part is that she always kept everything to herself, not that she should, but a lot of other people just want others to know about their problems and really only care about themselves. Bani on the other hand was different then them all. She hid everything she went through, but didn't say a word until someone forced her. He thought about how his life would be when she leaves tomorrow. He was on the verge of crying for many reasons. He didn't want her to leave, but he didn't have a choice.
The next morning, Jai had woken up late since he was in his study most of the night. He saw the clock and it said 12 o'clock. He jumped out of bed realizing that he had woken up very late today. He ran to the shower, got changed very quickly, and came was about to leave his room, when he saw a note on his side table. He opened the notes and it was from Bani.
Dear Jai,
I am leaving today, but before I leave, I want to say a big thank you to you and your family for helping me out so much when I needed it. I wanted to say by to you, but when I came in your room, you were still as sleep, and I didn't want to wake you. I'm writing you this just to say thank you for all of your love and support that you have given me through the past few days. If it hadn't been for you, then I'd probably not be here today. I owe my life to you.

Jai felt like kicking himself at that moment. He missed his last chance to say good bye to Bani because of his stupid sleep. He quickly ran downstairs and saw everyone having lunch. When Jai had came downstairs, everyone was staring at him and eating their lunches.
Purva:
Way to be late Jai! Nattu:
Yeah I know! They left but Bani wanted to say bye to you, but since you were late, they had to go. Jai was getting huge lectures from everyone, but all he wanted was to run to Meera's house and bye to Bani which didn't make any sense, but whatever. Jai didn't really care, but he wanted to talk to Bani.
The guys went to the office, but Jai was at home. He was thinking of a reason to call Bani, or get an excuse to go there. He was in his room sitting on the bed talking to himself.
Jai:
What's wrong with me? I sound so desperate! I should wait a little while before I do anything. I don't want to scare her off or upset her more. Over at Meera's house, Mohan was helping Meera with a few things since she was pregnant, and Bani was unpacking her stuff. She was thinking about Jai. She felt bad that she couldn't say bye to him or anything, but they will meet again eventually, so she didn't worry about that too much. She was putting her cloths away, when she found Jai's jacket in her suitcase. He might have forgotten to get it back after they had dinner the other night. She decided to give it to Mohan, as he worked in the same office as Jai did.
That night and Meera's house, Meera had gone to sleep as the she was exhausted from all that work, but Mohan went into Bani's room, and they caught up on everything. Bani told Mohan about Daksh, and AD and how Rano and Ranveer were engaged, but now they are lost. Mohan was so shocked.
Mohan:
WHAT! That b*****d! I swear if I ever find him, he won't live for more than a few seconds!! Bani:
Forget about that right now! All I want now is to find Rano and Ranveer more than anything. Mohan:
You're right Di! Bani:
You go to the office tomorrow, and I'll start looking for Rano and Ranveer. If we can't find them by tomorrow night, we'll go to the police station. Mohan:
Ok! You want Meera to come with you? Bani:
No, she's pregnant, and I don't want her to do too much. How about you drop her to the Walia Mansion and I'll go and look for them. Mohan:
Ok then, but whatever happens, I want Rano in front of my eyes now! God knows how she is! Both went to sleep and the next morning, Mohan dropped Meera and Bani to the WM. Everyone was happy to see Bani as they were all missing her terribly even though it's only been one day. Mohan had come inside to drop them and he also met everyone. Jai had come down and when he saw Bani, he smile suddenly came on his face. He practically ran downstairs to see if it was really Bani or not. They were all talking and then the servents just came back from their weekend thanks to Jai.
Mausi:
Arre, you're all finally back! How was your weekened off? Servant 1:
It was very good thank you. Servent 2:
How was your weekend madam? Mausi:
It was splendid thanks. Dadi:
Arre, where's Tony? Jai:
I told him to go and get married so I hope he comes with his wife! Everyone just burst out laughing. They all thought that Jai was joking, and he was, so everyone was making fun of Tony and thinking of the type of girl that would be suitable for their sweet little Tony. They were all talking, and then Tony came in.
Jai:
Tony, you're here finally! How was your weekend? Tony:
It was fine sir, and how was yours? Mausi:
It was wonderful. Jai:
So Tony, did you listen to what I said? Tony:
To what sir? Jai:
Arre, did you go and find yourself a wife? Tony:
(he blushed a little) Yes sir... Jai:
What! You actually got married on the weekend? Tony:
Yes sir! You told me to get married, so how can I not follow your orders? Everyone was trying to hold in their laughs, but it was impossible. They were mostly laughing at Jai, since Tony and Jai have always been close friends even though Tony works for Jai.
Jai:
So, where's your wife? Can we see who stole your heart in just 3 days? Tony:
(He blushed again) Umm, she's sorta rich, but she's a very nice girl. I've wanted to marry her for a while, but I never got a chance, but since you gave me the weekend off, we got married. Meera:
How sweet Tony! So who is it? Is she here? Tony:
She's outside... Purva:
What is she doing outside? Bring her in! Tony went to get her, and while he was gone, they were all talking about how he actually listened to what Jai told him. He actually got married. It was so hard to believe that Tony was married. Tony finally came back from outside with a girl standing behind him looking down at the floor. Everyone's attention went to the door. they were all in awe seeing Tony's wife.
Tony:
