Episode with Bani and Meera giving bitter medicines to a reluctant Ganga. Both Bani and Meera smile indulgently. The nurse comes and calls Mrs Walia. Meera responds but the nurse says that she was referring to Ganga's mother, the doctor wants to meet her. Bani looks a little embarassed and tells the nurse that she'll go. JW is with the doctor and he's asking him if there's any other way to save Ganga's life. The doc tells the two of them that if either parent's bone marrow had been a match then there would have been no problem but unfortunately neithers did. But they still have one more way. Often the bone marrow of a sibling has high chances of matching. Both Jai and Bani are despondent as the doctor asks them if Ganga has any sibling, and they think of the death of Krishna and Atharv. The doctor says that Ganga's cancer is in the first stage and with a successful marrow transplant she can live a long life. Bani leaves in tears and JW asks the doctor if there are any other options.
Raashi and Purva come to meet Ganga. Ganga is glad to see them and is grumpy that she's alright and yet Bani is keeping her in hospital. Raashi takes out a dhaaga and ties in on Ganga's arm telling her to never let it fall off and she'll be fine. Santoshi Maa watches this and Raashi tells Purva that she has work and leaves. She asks Raashi outside if she'd managed to put the dhaaga on her husband but Raashi says she hadn't as yet. Raashi goes to the temple and prays and asks the pandit for more dhaaga but he says that it has all been distributed among the devotees. At that moment the lady who had gone into labour that Raashi had helped get to hospital calls out to her and hands her the dhaaga that she had tied on for a safe delivery. She tells Raashi that now her child is safe thanks to her and she wants her to have the dhaaga. Raashi takes it and leaves as Santoshi Mata blesses her.
Nattu comes and Purva tells him Saagar/Vidya are dead. Raashi comes and says very often God does not let true lovers meet like all other legendary lovers.
Bani comes to the temple and to chants of Jai Siyaa Ram kneels and prays. JW comes and Bani looks at him and both of them think of the doctor's words. Bani tells him that he's promised to save Ganga, they cannot lose her and that he has to help her live. JW closes his eyes in helplessness and Bani tells him that she's always listened to him but he has to listen to her this once and save Ganga. Meera comes holding a picture of Krishna and Atharv and says there is one way. JW asks her what she means. She says that she'd overheard the doctor's convo with them and maybe Ganga does not have siblings but her parents are alive and they must bring a new life into the world to save her. Both JB are shocked JW asks her if she is in her senses, it is just not possible. Meera says that they have to make it possible. They have hatred, misunderstandings, distances and bitterness between them but they have to set aside their feelings as Husband and wife and think as parents. How can they stand by and let her die all for ego, their past, social restrictions. JW tells her that he and Bani don't live together, they are separated and being his wife how can Meera even think of it. Bani looks hurt at his words. He asks Meera how can she even tolerate her husband being with someone else. Meera tells him that before being a wife, she's a woman and empathises with Bani's pain. He may be willing to lose Ganga for the sake of his ego and painful past but all three of them Jai, Meera(??) and Bani will die with Ganga's death. She asks him if he could live with himself knowing that he threw away a chance to save her specially after just getting to know he had a daughter?? She asks Bani if she could live without Ganga and reminds her that just as Bani would forget all her trials at the sight of Ganga's face, now Ganga is looking to her to save her. She tells them that maybe its my helplessness at the situation or God's will, but the ultimate decision and choice to save Ganga is theirs. Both JB look at each other and walk away from each other as Meera looks at Krishna/Atharv's picture.
In WM JW is looking at the video of K/A and Bani in her house takes out a picture of her dead children and looks at it. JW sees Krishna come and tug his hand and lead him out as Atharv does the same to Bani. JB come to the samadhi where Meera is standing. K/A wave and leave as JB look at each other and then at Meera.
- Well JW has said it loud and clear, he considers Meera as his wife.
- Isn't Meera a sicko!! I thought Bani took the cake where mahaangiri was considered but this woman takes the entire bakery!!
- The entire JB scenario has become extremely sordid! I found it sick and I think the creatives stink!!
