Thanku all soooo much for the appreciation..you may find this part boring and annoying but i wanted to
describe the conflicting emotions both of them are going through..so here is the next part..
PART 3
Jai had been enveloped in JJ's thoughts all the way to the conference hall but as soon as he entered the
lobby,Jai walia the business man came back into action...
heading towards the conference hall...
Jai was told that the CEO of KAJ ind. was also there and that both the companies were given half an hr
before the contract is assigned...
stepping into conference room, he was greeted by his team members...
(just go with this)
Jai after exchanging pleasentries and a little briefing asks to be introduced to the CEO of the KAJ ind. ,just
then he gets a call on his cell,,he goes at the side of the lobby to attend the call..its aditya who asks him if he had located the CEO...to which he replies that he was abt to meet her when he got his call and came to
attend..just then he hears the tinkling of bangles ,,with the voice he can recognise amongst billions...at first he doesn't believe it..
Jai: no.ooo..it..it can't be..
aditya: somewhat worried at hearing Jai's voice like that: whats not possible jai..??
Jai: i'll call u later...
Aditya: is everything ok Jai,what happened???
Jai getting anxious: yeah yeah...i'll call u back later.. bye..
Jai turns around to see a woman dressed in a light green sari with dark blue embroidery lightly done with her back towards him,her dark hair open on her back... Jai feels his nerves getting stiff and with his fists clenched he starts walking towards that woman...
Jai with somewhat anxiousness and anger: excuse me...
woman turns around: yes...
Jai is kinda flustered and yet some what relieved that its not whom he thought...he excuses himself..
as he is about to turn he finds HER standing with couple of businessmen, she was dressed in a mauve coloured painted silk sari looking at him intently and yet with apprehension...
in her heart bani knew very well that he WILL not create a scene infront of everyone ..but still she shuddered at the thought the if he gets her somewhere alone then what she will do...bani prayed under her breath..'please mr. walia yahan nahi....'''
jai had been standing there stunned looking at her first with shock surprise than with his fists clenched by
his sides he walked over to where she was standing ...he was about to speak to her... one of the men turned around and looked at jai approaching them...extended his hand with a smile.jai stopped in his foot steps recognising the man infront,he also extended his hand with a forced smile,his eyes still on Bani..'Mr.jason freddrick''how nice to see you'
mr.JF'mr. walia..its so good to have u here' ..'i want u to meet the other contender for this project..actually
we are having a tough time deciding which one of you is the best ',slightly leaning towards Jai..'don't let her
pretty face and young age decieve you..,i tell u she is somebody to look out for,she hits u hard whenever she does'....
jai looking directly into bani's eyes'i m sure she does'
bani felt a chill go down her spine..those dark brown eyes,,how she loved them ,how she had drowned in them so many times,over and over again...whenever she thought that she had made the bottom she again found herself sinking deeper and deeper as in like an abyss..she always found herself lost in them,how she longed and yearned to see love in them,but she first found anger ,then it was replaced with love butthen her life made her see remorse in his eyes...she again saw love in them but it was short lived and life had took such a turn that she had to see immense amount of hatred,anger,pain,frustration, desperation in them..she had kinda gotten used to the anger and hatred of his but she could not bring herself to bear that pain and hurt in them...
how she wished that she could turn back time and take back all the pain that had caused them to part ways,, rather that made him throw her out of his life...she came out of her reverie when she heard mr. jason
freddrick call her name..Ms. dixit .this is Mr. walia ,,Ceo of Walia GI ,a very impeccable business record this man has..and mr. walia this is ms.dixit,ceo of the KAJ GI...she made her name and mark in the business world very quickly...i must say she is always a pleasure to work with..a very professional lady indeed..'
Jai had not taken his eyes off of her ,before he could say anything else or do anything she joined her palms and with a slight nod of her head she greeted him,like a stranger,infuriating him all the more..
jai so wanted to hold her by her hair and drag her out of there ,give her so much pain that anybody would
shudder at the mere thought of it,she was the one who had induced him with love and it was she who had
given him so much pain physically,mentally and above all emotionally.she was the one who had taught his stone cold heart to beat,he had loved her with every beat of his heart ,it was she who had become his heart beat ,but it was also her who had trampled his heart under her feet so mercilessly...he wanted to return all those painful favors which had been bestowed upon him by her..
he also returned the greeting with a slight nod... mr.jason freddrick sensed the tension between them."now
now..lets be civil and be nice to each other .i know u guys have been looking forward to get to each other's
throat for this contract but lets pretend to be nice ,,hunhh....he said with a chuckle' ..Jai forced a smile and so did bani..she excused herself from there ..mr.jason started chatting with jai about a new project he was thinking of starting in india and wanted to know his opinion about it..jai answered all his questions but through the corner of his eyes ,he also kept a trace of bani..
after a little chat,jai was about to walk towards her when a couple of more businessmen intervened he stopped and started chatting to them but he kept looking at bani standing at a distance working on her palm top..
bani although standing at a distance from him could feel that sweltering gaze of his,,burning her inside and out...she could feel her knees buckling under her...she noticed him trying to come to where she was standing but was kept intrupted by someone or another for which she thanked her lucky stars...
she didn't want to face him atleast not alone..she knew he was angry with her but the truth she was hiding
,if that came into light ,she knew he would be furious and enraged but she had a very good reason..may be
she had become selfish but she had been left with no other choice...
deep down her heart she prayed that when he comes to know the truth ,he forgives her ,if not for her sake
then for the reason she hid the truth from him..she knew what she did was wrong and her heart ached for the fact that he went through so much emotional turmoil all alone...she was sorry for what she had done with him,but it wasn't her fault..it was not in her hands..
jai who had been watching bani knew very well that she was putting up a facade,he very well knew she was
getting nervous under his gaze...he was getting impatient,he wanted to get out of that place as quickly as possible,,he knew he couldnot hold on for long,all his anger surging up in him was already making his
temples thump so hard,he could feel his face and ears burning up with rage,.he wanted her to pay for all that she did to him,but he was not in a position to anything atleast not rite now..
Jai not being able to hold onto himself ,excused himself from the fellow businessmen and started to walk over to where bani was standing..but before he could reach there a woman walked over to where bani was standing and she started chatting to her animatedly,though bani was talking to the woman but she knew HE was walking towards her,which was making her nervous by every millisecond.. how she wished that the earth would open up and swallow her rite now..but she had to be strong,,this was a promise made to someone very dear and near her heart..somebody whom she could rely on,somebody she could lean on when tired or sad,and she knew she would always find him there...through thick and thin..he had become one of those people whom she loved dearly,they shared something very special..she loved him and he
loved her rite back,she knew she had to be strong for him,as well as for "them"...this was important,her
coming to india was not just for the contract ,there where other important things,more important than the
contract to be taken care of,and she thought that she would do it personally as she wanted to make sure
that when the dust had settled those who stood against her where either on her side completely or where
no longer in site or in a position to come agianst her or her family again..she had come to india with a
purpose...she knew she had to finish it,the happiness of HER family depended on this...it took alot of
courage and persuading by him,but he managed to persuade her,as he always was...
jai walks upto where bani and the woman is standing,.. the woman had her back towards jai..
as jai approaches bani can no longer keep herself calm,as she finds herself turning a deep shade of pink
due to nervousness,she looks at jai ,who hasn't taken his eyes off of bani,like a tiger watching its prey's
every single move..still walking towards them ..
the woman turns to see the center of bani's attention,she finds herself gaping at the handsome features of the guy coming towards them...unvoluntarily she starts fixing her attire ,turns quickly towards bani..
woman: tell me ,how do i look?....quickly turns around as Jai addresses them..
jai: excuse me ladies...
woman:(now blushing,returns a sheepish) hello..
jai: hi(exetending his hand towards the woman) ,i am Jai walia..and you are..?
woman: i.. i.i..i...m..mm. saraswati sharma,i ...and this is Bani Dixit ,the CEO of KAJ GI ....
Jai now turning towards Bani ..
Jai: so miss Dixit..(chewing every word)..how are you ?how is it going?everything going as planned?
before bani could muster up strenght and courage to reply ..
Jai: if i m not asking much ,i would like to have dinner with you??...
bani not believing her ears at first...but calming herself down a bit..
bani:sorry Mr. walia..i m afraid i have to decline your offer as i already have a committment..
Jai:(giving an arrogant smile) i was asking Ms.Saraswati here..i m aware that you already have committments, have things to do (giving a angry and tauting glare)clients to please...
saraswati who was too busy admiring him did not notice the tension between them and turned red at the offer of dinner by THE Jai Walia...
SS(saraswati sharma)(stuttring a bit).....mmeeeee..dinn..ner with uuuu.( me came out more like a squeak than a word,which literally left jai gritting his teeth)
Jai inwardly cursed himself but he knew if he was going to make HER pay ,he had to do anything ,even if it
meant torturing himself...and he was more than willing and ready for it..
Jai: why not ..i would love to have dinner with a beautiful lady like you...thats why i asked ..i hope i haven't offended you...(giving a small smile,which left SS blushing profusely)
SS: not at all mr.walia...i would love to have dinner with u..(thinking inwardly(maybe alot more))
Jai:then its a date..i will get my driver to pick you up at say..7.00 pm tomorrow
SS: 7 is great..lucky 7...(she gave a nervous giggle,much to jai's annoyance but he kept himself calm and cool)..gave her a quick smile..which left bani unnerved..she knew he was doing this becuz of her,
Jai now turning towards bani(making it sound like a formal invite):would you like to join us,ms.dixit?
before bani could reply a man's voice called out from behind..he had been standing there for a while,he
had seen and heard whatever had transpired ..unnoticed by the trio(Jai,bani,SS)
Man( walking towards them)..: as she said mr. walia ..she will not be able to make it she already has a
committment..(giving bani a sweet and warm smile...)
Jai turned to look at the new entery and saw a very handsome man almost his age maybe a year or two older than him..with a dashing and over powering personality..
Man(extending his hand towards jai):by the way i m Nahar ..Nahar Singhania...
jai: (formally but curtly,shook his hand)..i m ..
before jai cud finish
Nahar:i know..Mr. walia... jai walia...
as jai shook hands with him he felt that nahar looked at him with some what hatred at first but then he quickly disguised it...
after shaking hands with jai,much to jai's annoyance nahar turned towards bani..and took her in a warm hug.. and adding fuel to his anger,bani returned the hug with equal warmth and enthusiasm..
bani who had been nervous from the moment she saw jai in front of her ...seemed quite relaxed and comfortable now,more confident..
breaking the hug..but still holding bani by her shoulders..
Nahar:sorry sweetheart..i m late..but i had to drop sport at jhalli's(literally mad,but called with love) place..
Bani:its ok,nahar g..besides meeting hasn't started yet..how was ur flight?i hope he didn't bother u much..
Nahar:flight was ok sweety..and (pulling her cheeks lightly,which made bani giggle,making jai's heart flutter)and sport is as adorable as u are...actually more adorable..
bani(faking anger):so now ur telling me u love him more than me..?
nahar: actually ..yeah...(both nahar and bani start laughing)
nahar with his right arm over her shoulders....
Nahar:excuse us,saraswati(who all this while was gawking at jai dreamily),jai(who was witnessing all this while fuming like he had been made to sit in a furnace)...
nahar and bani walked away,as they were being called ..the meeting was about to start...bani looking
content and confident...but only she knew how hard it was for her to remain calm infront of Jai..how long she can put this facade of confidence she knew not..
jai walked away not saying a word to saraswati who was some what hurt and angry at his rude exit..but she
calmed herself down by ,that he was being called ...the meeting was about to begin,,besides ,HE had asked her out on a dinner date...
as the meeting started ,the CEOs of both the companies were asked to give their last time comments..
bani walked onto the stage first and gave a very impressive short but comprehensive ,confident speech...
all the time she knew HE had his eyes on her and she couldnot help but notice a hint of appreciation in his
eyes,as she spoke all the through way with grace..as jai was sitting in the seat which was infront of the
podium..
as bani finished her speech,a thunder of applaud was heard ...
bani walked to where Nahar was seated,he stood up as she walked towards him,jai noticed that nahar's eyes were a bit moist as he took her into a warm hug...to which bani responded with equal affection..
jai calmed himself down...lots of questions were hurling in his mind but he knew he had to keep his calm,.
jai (telling himself inwardly)..,,lets concentrate on the task at hand..i WILL DEAL with her later..
as jai walked upto the rostrum and spoke ..the listeners were spell bound by his awe-inspiring persona..
bani could even hear admiring sighs and squeaks of the female members in the conference hall..
as he finished and was walking upto his seat he could not help but notice that nahar was holding bani's
hand ,their fingers interlaced..jai was infuriated..,only he knew how he was controlling himself,if he had it his way,he wud have loved to drag both of them on a scorching desert sand and put a burning boulder on them...
all the time jai felt if he was ,walking on burning coals..her every smile towards him made Jai feel like he
was being dragged on a barbed wire terrain..
After an hr or so..Mr. jason fredrick was asked to annouce the contract...
JF.: i must inform u all that this was the toughest decision of my career,as both the companies are
significant in their own way,so we decided that it will be a joint venture..both the companies will share this
contract..(a loud applause)
Bani felt her heart contract as she heard this,this meant ,working with him in close proximity,,,it was already unnerving,,that she was in the same hall as he was,but now she had to work WITH HIM....bani looked at
nahar nervously who gave her a reassuring smile..
jai on the other hand was some what satisfied that now he will get a chance to make her reimburse,..
JF: on this momentous occasion,i would like to annouce a party which will be held tonight ,,so u all better
be there..he said with a chuckle..
jai noticed that bani looked very comfortable with nahar,and he was also very caring towards her,it
unnerved him who the hell is nahar ,..why is she with him,where the h=ll is daksh,...all these questions
plagued his mind.. and he completely forgot what the airhostess had told him,,JJ was the son of the CEO of KAJ GI ...
hope u liked this...i know i know it was extremely boring..no fire works what so ever,but i wanted to make
sure the emotions of both of 'em were described first,, that will help u understand their actions better..plz do
