i am here again with a short story. i have read few ff's about the latest issue in Ks. i have gathered few information from them. and Ammoooooooo thanks yaar for the help.. this stroy is not excatly a Jb romace. i don't know actually....... let me know what you thought of this. all kind of feed backs are welcome.. negative or psoitve i'll be waiting..............😊

It's been nearly six months she had disappeared. The last he had remembered her was rushing into his office panic stricken.. he had abused her again.. asking her to bend on her knees and beg. He had seen the pain and misery cross her now thin face…..
She was on the verge to fall on her knees.. his secretary interrupted. She walked in asking him to meet a woman who insisted to se him immediately. Bani had scrambled to her feet at the look he had given her. his secretary threw her a suspicious look and left the room. He had sworn and left to the reception ordering her to stay back… It had taken him almost an hour to return to his office….
She was gone. She was nowhere to be found. He had marched with fury to the reception and enquired about her. The receptionist shrugged her shoulders. He muttered inaudible and returned to his office.
He had missed the chance to see her begging on her knees. He had lost the chance to ridicule her. If he had his way he would take her home and punish her every waking hour….. He was a changed man. That's what she had made him to be…..
He moved away from the window and walked to his desk. The envelope was lying on the table. First he thought to tear it into bits then thought against it. He grabbed it in his hand tore the cover open. The letters mocked him… the color drained out of his face he threw the letter again on the table and lit a cigarette. He took two puffs and decided to read it. May be from the letter he will learn where she had disappeared into. He would drag her from there and rig her neck.
He straightened the paper and began to read……
Mr. Walia…..
I can imagine what state you are in……. Oh you don't know… he gritted his teeth. I don't know why I am bothering to write to you… I had come to your office for help Mr. Walia.. Even though I know what awaits me in your office still I came.. Because I was desperate…. Desperate enough to fall and rub my nose at your feet. I wanted to save my child. My only child… he looked through the pages a scowl appearing on his face.
My daughter was in the hospital. She needed immediate attention. I needed to save her and I needed money. I had lost my children and I don't want to loose her too. I couldn't go through that misery again…..
He threw the letter on table and lighted another cigarette.
Mother? Does she know the meaning of it? He stared at the letter and took it again.
I know you wouldn't believe me. You thought me a cruel mother and a treacherous wife. I know there's no point in clearing any misunderstandings. it has reached to a point where its difficult for me to even try it…..
What has happened to our lives Mr. Walia….. I gave my love and trust to you and what did I get in return? You despise me. You treat me like a worm. For once and for all let me tell you something.. I am not a fallen woman. I never had any affair. Daksh is not my lover. He was married to my twin sister…
jai stared at the words and broke into laughter. 'God! You are something Bani.. I can't believe to what level you are falling…' he shook his head and returned his gaze to the letter.
I know Mr. Walia you wouldn't believe me. You are high and mighty why not hire a detective and find out?
Was she mocking him? Creases formed on his forehead.
Mr. Walia I couldn't believe it at first. I got all the facts and I had to play in the hands of Daksh's father. Mr. Walia you saw me enacting an incident with a wedding dress for Daksh . He had lost his sense at the time of his marriage to her. I was enacting a scene where you came and misunderstood. I know I was at fault. You do know my trait I do help people getting my self in a tight spot. Either you knew me well or you don't know me at all…you should have trusted me. Instead you saw and heard what your sister wanted you to see and hear…I am not complaining its too late for that. We were never meant for each other. We had been through hell before and still we got back. I was proud of the love we shared. Where did it go then? The harsh reality has taught me so much nothing is forever. Not even love… I had loved only one man and that was you Mr. Walia. And I hate only one man and that again is you. The love had destroyed me beyond repair. This letter is to tell you My Ganga is your child. Ganga.. you do know her…
The letter trembled from his hand and fell on the desk. Beads of perspiration formed on his forehead.He grabbed the letter….
I have no idea you will believe me or not.. Honestly I don't care..
Jai flinched.
I just want you to know that you have fathered a child. Knowing you …… the next thing you would do is take her away from me. Even if you don't believe she to be yours. You only wanted to punish for the crime I had not committed. Me being a woman doesn't have money or strength to fight you and keep her with me. But I do want her to be with me. She might not grow in wealth but she would know how to be a good human.
Can I ask you something Mr. Walia? What would you give her? all the wealth in the world? Is that sufficient for her? You have all the wealth are you happy with your life?
No one in that house would be happy with a woman named Jigyasa around the house. She is a bad influence I wouldn't want my daughter to be part of that. All her life she defied her husband. She is wishing for you the same.. she will not let anyone share your affection and attention…..
Mr. Walia me and Ganga are going away from Mumbai to a distant place. Our flight is booked on the 21st. we will report to the airport at 6pm . I am providing this information so that you can see your child before we leave.. I honestly don't know what will be my destiny… will I meet Ganga's father or police to arrest me and put me in prison… what ever it might be its upto you… I am tired Mr. Walia I do not want to run. I am tired of running away. I had like to stop now. Be it in the prison or with a life with my daughter.. you decided what should be done…

Jai sat staring at the letter he couldn't think... the power of thoughts had left him. Half of him wanted to ignore the letter and the other half wanted him to believe what was written. He shook his head frustrated. If she was right what has he done? He had abused and humiliated her for what? The things she hadn't done? How an animal he had turned out to be? Why did he get carried away with his sister's words when he knew she always hated Bani and given chance she would utilize against her? God! What has happened? He had loved his wife to distraction. And hated her with the same intensity. Jai walked up and down in his office. He needed to think. He had asked his PA not to disturb him. And she had done just that. He walked quickly to the phone and dialed a number……..
Jai was home early he did not have any mood to spend the day in the office. He was disturbed. Meera was in the kitchen with Tony. She saw Jai walk upstairs. She walked quickly out of the kitchen. Jai saw her and stopped. He felt a pang of guilt at the sight of her. Meera had been a good wife but she could never fill the vacuum Bani had left. Bani filled his heart and soul.
'What happned? Are you okay?' she asked with concern.
He nodded and walked past her. she did not follow him. She had never done it. She knew from the beginning their relation was a strained one.
She liked Mr. Walia. She did not know what love was nor did she ponder so much with the thought she had good life and he was nice to her….
Jai walked to his bed kicked his shoes and fell on it. His mind was occupied with thoughts of Bani and Ganga his daughter. The truth was sinking in slowly. He did not want to believe other wise. Ganga was his blood. God had blessed him with a child. Most of the time he had felt Krishna's presence when Ganga was around. ….
Jai was deep in thoughts he heard Jigyasa and Karuna's laugh out side his door. He ignored them. Shutting his eyes.. He heard Karuna mention Bani's name.. He opened his eyes and strained his ears.
'Jigyasa any idea where Bani left?'
'who cares karuna.. ia m happy she is out of our lives…
'Jigyasa I had like to know why you hate Bani so much what she do to you..
'She stole my bhayaa.. I hate her… Bhai ke ooper uska booth sawar tha .... abh sab kuch khatham hogaya… jo Jigyasa chahthi thi wahi hua anth mein… Bani tho gayi yahan se…' saying that she laughed.. Karuna joing her.
Jai shut his ears. Later their voices became muffled. He got up from the bed and left his room…
Two days later Jai got a call from his detective. The world shattered around him.. Bani was right… his Bani was right. He paid a handsome amount to the man and asked him to keep everything discreet. Gave him another task to find Bani.
Jai ignored Jigyasa completely. He stopped speaking to her or acknowledging her. Karuna too received the same reaction from him. He hated the sight of two women. Jigyasa wondered what might have caused the change in him. She blamed Meera for his attitude. Most of the time Meera was attacked with her viciousness.
On the 20th Jai got the news of Bani's whereabouts. He left from his office to meet her. Jai did not know what he was going to tell her or how he was going to face her. he would face the problems and speak to her like a gentle man. All the hopes of meeting her died once he reached the destination. The neighbor told Him Mr an Mrs Saxena and their family left to their family house in the morning and she doesn't know the exact location. Jai left dejectedly.
Jai had only one option to meet her at the air port. With heavy heart he reached to the airport at 5:30 waiting for Bani. Every minute that passed made him feel like eternity. Finally at 6:45 Bani got down from the taxi with a couple and Ganaga.
Jai's heart missed a beat. He stared at Ganga. His eyes filling and blurring the vision. He walked towards them blinking away the tears and stood before Bani.
Bani caught her breath. A tremor ran through her. She looked about her and her gaze fixed on his face.
Jai gave her a guilty look. He found hard to look her in the eye.
'Don't worry I am alone….'
She nodded. Taking a deep breath. Millions of thoughts had crossed her mind since she had posted that letter.
Sati Saxena had come in to her life like a fairy. She had taken Bani and Ganga under her wing. A day never went without Masi praising the woman. Masi had refused to go with Bani saying Mumbai was gher home and she would never leave it. Now Bani has a life she would move to her ancestral home. Jai wouldn't come there to trouble her…. Bani and Ganga's plea went on deaf ears. In the morning Masi left to her house and Bani to the airport.
Sati saxena met Bani at the hospital where she saw the young woman fighting for her daughter's life. She had seen her run from place to place to arrange funds for her daughter's treatment. Sati had decided to help her Bani had disappeared leaving Masi and Ganga in the hospital. She saw her walk dejectedly to the hospital hours later. Masi had told her about Sati and her husband. MR. Siddarth Saxena had come from London for a holiday and he had minor attack and was admitted to the hospital…..
Bani's little family and the couple hit it off then. Sati learned Bani's saga from Masi and fell in love with her. She took Bani under wing and then onwards Sati was her guardian and mother. Sati and her husband offered Bani a job in London and Masi persuaded her to take up the job. Bani did not have another option. She decided to take the job………
Jai cleared hi throat seeing her lost in thoughts. Bani looked at him. They stared at each other. Ganga shook his hand and demanded attention. The old couple left them and walked to the airport asking Bani to join them soon. She had nodded her head. Sati and husband knew Jai Walia was Bani's husband as she had informed them about the letter she had written to him.
Jai bend down and lifted her in his arms burying his face in the crook of her neck. His heart ached. He kissed her face and her small hand and looked at her face studying her features. 'I am so sorry my child.. Sorry..' he said kissing her again.
'Mr.Walia.. let us move to a side.. People are watching us…' Bani said clearing her voice.
He looked about him and saw people staring at him. He carried Ganga and they walked inside the airport. He showed his passport and ticked to the guard and walked in. Bani saw the old couple wait for her. she spoke to them and followed him to the VIP waiting suit.
Jai put her down on the chair and sat with her holding her hand.
'Mr. Walia… what have you decided?' Bani asked walking towards him. He looked at her for a moment and said. 'I don't have anything to say Bani.. I wont say sorry.. I know there's no point.'
She shook her head agreeing to it.
'You have decided to take her with you… you can..... I wont stand against you…' he said calmy.
Bani couldn't believe her ears.
'take her… I have a request…' he said looking at her expectantly.
'Yes..'
'Let me see her when ever I come to London…'
Bani nodded. Her eyes filled with tears she blinked it away with out him seeing it.
'You are right … she is not fit to live with me in Walia mansion……' he couldn't go on….
Bani looked away guiltily.
'Thank you for letting me know….'
Bani understood. She shook her head again.
They stood quietly for sometime and he said, " I think you should move on its time….'
Bani nodded holding Ganga's hand. She walked with her daughter to the passport control Jai following them. She stopped and turned to him.
"Mr. Walia.. thank you… I ..er… hope you have a good life with Meera and you father more children with her….' it took her mighty strength to tell him that.
He gave her a feeble smile.
Ganga left her hand ran to him entangling her little hand around him. Jai bend down and she kissed him. 'Bye.. Papa..'
Jai nodded. A lump formed in his throat. He let her go waving his hand. Bani walked towards her new parents holding Ganga's hand.
Jai walked out of the airport with a sense of loss. He turned his head again to catch a glimpse of them. He saw Bani and Ganga move forward to the emigration check……………………
Jai and Bani met again in London 8 months later. Bani let Ganga spend time with him. She enquired about Meera and asked if there was any good news to witch he smiled faintly.
Every year he visited Ganga. Bani stopped asking about any good news. She diverted her attention to her new Job and her new parents. Masi visited Bani in London with Jai. Masi had spend good time with Ganga and Bani. Bani always avoided being with him. They were getting along okay staying apart.
Jai gave more attention to Meera trying to forget his Bani. Bani never left him. She was always there in the corner of his heart.
Kash! yeh sab nahi hotha aur mein apni Bani aur bachi ke sath hothi.. he always thought regretfully.
Jigyasa never understood the reason for Jai's behavior towards her. she tried to patch up with him but all her efforts went in vain…………
The silent reatment was the biggest punishment Jai could give his sister....
