Part 42:
Bani got ready and came down to go to the nearby caf to meet Pushkar as decided….she came down the hall and saw Jigyasa reading a women magazine…
Aare Bani Bhabi… won't you have breakfast… aur waise bhi ghar pe koi nahin hain… anyway are you going somewhere as she noticed Bani was all dressed up to go out somewhere… Jigaya asked casually… kya baat hai… why aren't you saying something… are you ok…
Didi there are certain thing that needs to be taken care of… once everytghing gets sttled I will be able to rest in peace… until then… she didn't finish her sentence as she rushed out of the house leaving behind a stund Jigyasa…
Jigyasa was very perplexed seeing Bani like that… Bani never speaks to anyone like that… she didn't ponder over it much as she thought it could be that she's angry with Jai or omething… and probably Bani's going to meet her hubby dear as he left the house really early… she chuckled over her thought and carried on reading the megazine…
At the caf:
'Pushkar tumne kitni dair kardi … mein kab se tumhari intezar kar rein thi…'
'Sorry Bani… ab chalo…gadi mein baitho…and we'll make our way to the hospital…'
Both reached the hospital and they went towards the reception area …
Receptionists: yes mam… how can I help you…
Bani: we are here to see Doctor Khandewal…
Receptionnist: Mam your name please and could you please tell me what time is your appointment…
Bani: I don't have any appointment with him… I just need to see him… and it's very urgent…
Receptionist: sorry Mam … but without an appointment I can't let you in… you know how it works…
Bani: Pushkar ab kya Karen… Dr. Mohan Khandewal se tu hum mil nahin sakte…
Receptionist: excuse me Mam… did you say Dr. Mohan Khandewal… I thought you were here to see Dr. Aarti Khandewal…
Bani: does that mean we can meet him…
Receptionist: I'm sorry Mam …but couple of days ago Dr. Mohan Khandewal has resigned from his job… and we'll be appointing a new doctor in his place…
Bani: KYA!!!
Pushkar: how's that possible… I mean do you any any idea where Dr. Mohan Khandewal is…
Receptionist: I'm sorry sir… but I have no idea… but Sir there is a possibility that he might have went abroad …as for quiet long time he wanted to do that…
Pushkar: abroad!!! Do you particularly know where…
Receptionist: no sir…
Pushkar: well thank you for all your help and if you don't mind me asking you another question… does Dr. Mohan Khandewal have any relatives or family members…
Receptionist: I'm sorry Sir but I don't know much about his personal life… so I can't really say much…
Pushkar: well thank you for all your help… saying that both came out of the hospital…
Bani: what can we do Pushkar… this doctor fled… now how are we suppose to get proof against Jigyasa didi…
Pushkar: Bani we could speak to the higher authority of the Hospital to find more information about the doctor… but since we don't have anything solid proof… or any sort of arrest warrant… we can't do anything… I'm sorry Bani… but being a police inspector I'm also helpless… but you don't worry we will try to locate the doctor's family memberes if he has any …
Bani: that's ok Pushkar… no need for sorry… hamari kismet hi kharab hai… tu koi kya kar sakta hain…
Pushkar dropped Bani hope and went to police station to see if he can locate the family members of Dr. Mohan Khandewal… may be that way he'll be able to find some information on the whereabouts of that cunning doctor….
As she entered in the house … she saw Tony … Tony kya tumein pata hai Jigyasa Didi kahan hain…
Tony: yes Mam … who apni kamre mein hai…
Thanks Tony… saying that she proceeded towards jigyasa's room…
Jigyasa: aare Bhabi… aap aan gayein… kaisa tha bhaiya ke saath aap ka lunch… mein janti thi aap Jai Bhaiya se milne ja rein thi… Jigyasa was talking with a small smile… but her smile faded away as she noticed some unusual silence in Bani's eyes…
Kya baat hai… aap thik tu hain na…
Bani: wah Didi… wah… behen ho tu aap jaisie… aur aap jaisa nanad tu kismet se milta hai… hain na…
Jigs: Bhabi… aap yeh kis tarah ki baat kar rein hain… kya ho geya hain aapko…
Bani: mujhe kya ho geya hai!!! … wah aap drama bhi bohut acchi tarah se kar leti hain Didi… aap ko zara si bhi daya nahin aata apne bhai par… kaisie behen hai aap… sirf paise ke liey aap apne bhai ke khoon karma chahti hai… kya bigara hai uenone aap ka… jaba dijiyen… I want an answer right now….
Bani turned and looked at jigyasa… and saw how tears were flowing from eyes … at that sight Bani's heart did melt towards Jigyasa… but when she remembered Jai … her all concerned vanished away… as she thought it's another dirty trick of Jigyasa to conceal the truth from revealing…
Bani: didi mujhe nahin pata tha aap rona-dhona ki acting bhi acchi tarah se kar leti hain… and don't think that your tears will wash away all your crime… aap apne gunah kabool karne ke sibha aap ro rein hain… ta ki aap sach par parda dhal sake… kaisie aurat hain aap… ek aurat hone ki baujut aap mujhe woh khushi se alag rakna chahthi jo har aurat ka haq hai… hare k aurat ka sapna hota hai… aap aisa kaise kar sakti hain didi…
Jigyasa couldn't tale all the accusation anymore… she didn't even know why bani was accusing her …and most importantly what is she being accused of… what has she done… Bani Bhabi…aap mujhe bataiyen tu mera kasoor kya hain… maine aisa kaun sa gunah kiya hai jiske bare mein mujhein nahin pata… aur maine aap ka kaun sa haq aap se china…
Bani: kaunsa haq… aapne meri pati ko marne ki koshish ki aur aap mujhe maa nahin banne dena chahti thi… aur mujhe tu ab yeh bhi shak hone lagi hain ke shayad aapne hi meri behen Anamika ki jaan li hain… bataiyein didi kya yeh sab kuch gunnah nahin hai… aap khud ek maa ho kar… mujhe maa banna ki ehsaas se alag rehna chati thi…
Jigs: Bhabi… aap yeh kaisie batein kar rein hain… please mujh par aisie ginonah inzam tu mat lagaiyein … main sapne mein bhi aisa nahin soch sakti… aur karne ki tu sawal hi nahin ut tha…
Bani: oh please Didi… ab app ka natak band kijiyeb… the truth is in front of you … and I would've had the proof with me today… if you hadn't made that doctor Khandewal leave his job and this city as well… how could you do that…
Jigs: Bani what doctor are you talking about …and as far as I knw he was Jai Bhaiya's doctor… I don't know anything personal about the doctor… and why would I make him leave his job…Bani Bhabi I think you are mistaken … I haven't done anything…
Bani: Oh really… so you are denying the fact that you paid the doctor to lie to us that we can't remain as husband and wife in true sense… we can't have any sort of physical relationship which exists between husband and wife… but I'm sorry Didi… all your plan has flopped… guess what DIdi me and Jai are husband and wife… that too in true sense… from body…soul…heart and mind… aap jo chahti hain who kabie nahin hoga… mein Jai aur apni bacche ko janam zaroor dungi… aap ka koi bhi chal mujhe meri pati se alag nahin rak sakta…
Jigyasa: But I never did any such thing… In fact I was really happy seeing you two together …. Believe me Bhabi I never did any such thing… she said crying…
Bani: ok… fine… since I don't have any proof… I will take that you are innocent for the sake of the argument… but tell me what were you talking to Jiju that day before Holi… and you cannot accuse me saying that I'm lying…because I myself heard you talking to him … and even Jiju accused you of being a culprit … he accused you of having a hand in the accident of Jai and my sister Anamika… tell me Didi I'm lying and accusing you for nothing… TELL ME THE TRUTH…. She shouted….
Jigyasa: haan yeh saach hain… yeh sach hai… mein Jai Bhaiya se bohut nafrat karti thi… unke sayaa se bhi mujhe nafrat tha…. Mardalna chah thi thi mein ueneh… ab kush ho na aap… sach su liya…
Bani was dubmfound… as all these words were ringing in her ears… so her sespecion was correct… Didi is the only culprit… who tried to kill her husand… she was thinking all that as tear was flowing from her eyes….
