A Very Happy New Year to everyone!

The episode starts with Bani looking at a brown big envelope. Maasi calls Maithli and she keeps it inside the cupboard. Ganga is at the birthday party and wishes Vidya. After the cake cutting Jigyasa tells Vidya to open all the gifts. She starts opening them and Ganga comes with a steel box and gives it to Vidya. Some kids ask her what kind of person gives a handmade card and ladoos made at home. One girl tells her that tomorrow is her birthday but she won't invite Ganga as she doesn't want such a gift. Ganga feels bad and walks away.
Jai sees her and says that she shouldn't be sad but happy since it's a happy occasion. He goes in and wishes Vidya. She tells him he just can't leave like that and he has to help her choose the best gift. He sees the card Ganga made and tells her that that is the best gift because someone has worked hard to make it. Ganga is happy and comes back in. Jigyasa comments that they have a bluetooth connection. It means that though Ganga and Jai don't know who the other is they have an unspoken bond where in things transfer from one to another. (this was so dumb!)
Jigyasa announces that now they will play the paper folding game and everyone should go find a partner while Vidya will be the judge. Ganga goes over to everyone to ask them to be her partner but they dismiss her. Karuna tells Jigyasa that she understands her plan and she is a jadugarni. Jigyasa says she wants no child to say yes to Ganga so that Jai can dance with her. She goes over to Jai and tells him to dance with Ganga. He says that Jigyasa is crazy and he would do no such thing and he doesn't care if she wins or loses. Jigyasa tells him it's not about winning or losing but about a child's happiness. Ganga requests him and then Vidya does too and tells him that it is her birthday and he can't refuse.
He gives in and the song Meri Duniya starts in the background. Jai and Ganga are dancing while Bani on the other hand is looking at Atharva and Krishna's picture. Maasi comes and tells her not to cry and Bani tells her that she got her father's love for sometime at least, Ganga will never get it. Jai picks Ganga up so that they don't lose and he holds her tight. At the end of the game Ganga pecks Jai on the cheek.(very cute)
Jigyasa goes to Meera and gets emotional about how Jai is happy again and dancing and how she has made a stone hearted man into a man who feels. She tells Meera that she thinks she and Jai should adopt Ganga. Meera tells her that she would never do such a thing though such a thought came into her mind. She tells her that Ganga and her mother live for each other and though they have some problems they are happy. It is nothing but a crime to separate them and leaves.
Jigyasa gets irritated and thinks of what to do now. Bani and Maasi are removing the water from their house due to the leakage due to the rain. Daksh comes in and says that he came for shelter but guess he will have to help. The phone lines are down due to the rain and Ganga is unable to get through her mother. Jai comes and asks her what the problem is and she tells him she needs to get home but has no way. He calls for the driver but he has taken a sick leave. Jai gets angry and tells the butler to tell him not to come from tomorrow. Ganga speaks up and says how is this right cos he took leave cos of high fever.
Jai tells her that he will drop her home and she says okay but is he sure. He asks her if there was any problem and she says that she talks a lot and he hardly so can they take Meera with them otherwise she would get bored. Jai and Meera look at each other and smile and leave to drop Ganga. Jigyasa thinks hard and says she needs to get Meera and Ganga close and to do that she has to make a bad impression of Ganga's mother in front of Meera that she doesn't take care and all. Karuna sends the butler to call for Meera who tells them she has gone with Jai to drop Ganga.
Jigyasa gets scared since if he goes to Ganga's house he will but obviously meet Bani which is the end of all their plans. Episode ends on Bani, Ganga and Jai's face.
