Episode begins with JW coming to the bathroom. He's confused and upset wondering why the sight of Bani's pain still has the capacity to affect him. He is indifferent to Bani yet why can he not tolerate her taking Daksh's name, why does it still matter to him whether they meet or not. What is happening to him. They show Bani sinking to the floor, wiping away her blood and collecting the broken bits of her bangles in the bloodstained cloth. JW too wipes away the blood on his handkerchief as 'Tere Naam' plays in the background.
The party is on( a very boring scene). Rano is sitting with an older Varun under a veil while his head is being shaved. There's bhangra happening and everyone is looking happy. Bani dressed as a Punjaban is coughing away in the kitchen while all the staff look helplessly at her. Jigz and Karuna are in conversation and she tells Karuna that all their relatives from Amritsar are expected. A guest congratulates Jigz on her innovative theme and Jigz says that it was all Bebe's idea(I'm guessing that's Dadi). She says that the wishes of elders have to be taken into consideration. A large nondescript gang of Punjabi relatives appear. They come in and bless Rano's son. She says that he's upset coz his head's being shaved. The relatives tell him that its like the crops of Punjab, it'll grow back again.Jigz comes and rudely pushes Rano out of the way and begins to greet the guests. The guests have brought dabbas of ghee, murabba and petha from Amritsar. Karuna comes and waves 'hi' to the guests and is mocked for her anglicized greeting. She's told to touch their feet and reluctantly does so. Adi is surprised to see Jigz all smiles and Jigz says that its only to fool the guests and he too should keep smiling and looking happy. The guests go to Daadi and ask her where's Billo? Rano hastily covers up saying that Maasi's unable to attend coz of pain in her joints. They are surprised that the person who was like a mother to Jai and Jigz is not in attendance. Dadi is crying that the whole world is present, yet those who matter the most are not part of the function. She holds a small picture of Hanumanji and asks why this distance exists. Simultaneously Maasi is shown also holding Hanumanji's picture and crying that despite being so close to our loved ones we are so far away. Rano brings Varun to Bani and tells her to bless him. Varun gestures asking who Bani is and Rano tells him that this is the person who fed you in her lap when you were a child.
JW enters wearing a red and black ensemble, his eyes searching for Bani. He sees Bani serving the guests, coughing, trying to take the pressure off her cut hand and remembers the scene in his office and smiles a grim smile of satisfaction. His Punjabi relatives surround him, telling him that they are happy to see him successful and that he's done them proud. They say that every man's success is due to a woman and ask where his wife is. JW looks at Bani who's busy serving the guests, when Jigz steps forward and tells them that JW's wife is behind him. JW turns and is shocked to see Meera wearing the same clothes that Bani had worn on 19th June and is immediately transported back in time to that night. All the relatives think she is so pretty and Meera is all smiles. Jigz asks JW how Meera is looking and JW is shocked. He snaps "She's fine"and leaves. Karuna is frustrated that after two hours of dressing up Meera this is all the appreciation they get.. Jigz tells her that today Meera is wearing Bani's clothes and jewellery and JW's memories of his moments with Bani will help bring Jai and Meera close. Karuna asks her what next and Jigz says that the next part of the plan will kick in. Jigz and Karuna begin dancing as Bani coughs, then Jigz dances with Adi. She sees JW standing with his bugged face and takes a glass of lassi and empties the entire drug sachet into it. Karuna sees her and Jigz raises the glass to her in a toast. She offers it to Jai who initially refuses saying that he's drunk enough lassi but Jigz insistes and Jai finally gulps it down.
Karuna tells Jigz that she's bored and Jigz tells her that the action will soon start. A lady comes and questions why Varun's mundan was so late and Jigz despatches her with a sarcastic reply. Just then Karuna is shocked to see Bani there. Jigz is horrified that Bani is around as it throws all their plans into jeopardy. She calls Bani and asks her how she has the audacity to come to a family function. Bani tries to tell her that JW wanted her there, but Jigsz tells her to get out. Just then JW comes and says that Bani will not leave. Jigz is frustrated and questions why JW wants Bani there. Jai who's already beginning to feel woozy insists that Bani stay there, and tells Jigz that she's there to waitress on his insistence. Karuna says that JW is just not willing to let go of Bani and that their plan is doomed but Jigz says that she's not given to making flop plans and that she'll do whatever it takes to make her plan succeed. Episode ends.
- Quite a boring episode. I guess we're being set up for a typical weekend cliffhanger, so predictable.
- Jigz and Karuna are more excited about JW getting lucky than even Meera.
- Meera quietly submitted to Jigz decking her up to sleep with Jai!! How sick is that!!
- Why are Rano/Adi/Daadi grinning away while Bani's moving around slogging and unwell?? Only JW noticed.
