Bani enters the house and sees Ganga sleeping on the bed. She has tears rolling down her face and she goes over to the cupboard and opens it. She remembers Jai's word when he is asking for Meera and telling Bani he loves his second wife more. She removes a JB photo from the box and her mangalsutra. She remembers all the times he put it around her and their marriages and the marriage shlok is going on in the back ground.
Maasi comes there and asks her what is wrong. Bani is crying and just lowers her head. Maasi asks her why is she crying and what is wrong why is she holding Jai's photo and her MS. She tells Maasi that Mr. Walia has gotten married again and she falls down crying. Maasi is shocked.
Jai is sitting and drinking and thinks of how he insulted Bani and thinks about what all happened at the party. He drops the glass he was holding. Jigyasa is holding a glass of milk and sees Meera walking away. She asks her where she is going and doesn't she have to sleep. Meera tells her she is doing just that, going to the guestroom to sleep. Jigyasa asks why to which she says that once she herself had told her not to sleep in Jai's room when there is a party or he is upset. Jigyasa apologises and says she must have said it in anger but she takes it back. She tells Meera to sleep in Jai's room.
Jigyasa tells Meera that it hurts her to see her playing with other children and that she wishes Meera would have her own. She tells her to go to Jai and tells her that she cares for Meera and prays for her well being.
Meera enters the room and sees Jai sleeping on the chair. She takes his name but when he doesn't get up she puts a pillow under his head and a blanket over him and starts to leave. Just then Jai mumbles in his sleep asking Bani why did she do what she did. Why did she do it. Meera is shocked to see Bani's name been taken by Jai again after so many years. She goes and Ya Rabba plays in the background. She is walking downstairs and is going to Dadi to tell her about this. She sees Dadi, Rano and Raashi talking about Bani coming over today. She is shocked.
She wonders to herself how come Bani came back after so many years. She wonders what had gone wrong so many years ago that destroyed such a strong relationship. What was Bani like that her husband yet loves her after so many years and hasn't been able to let anyone come even close to him.
Karuna asks Jigyasa what happened about her plan about getting Jai and Meera together. Jigyasa says such things take time. Meera is passing by when Jigyasa calles her out. She tells Meera to go give Jai sandwiches. Meera is apprehensive. Jigyasa says she is Jai's wife and she should do it and orders her to take the food to his room fromnow on and she goes away.
Meera takes it up and tells Jai his breakfast is there. He tells her he is getting late for work and leaves. Meera wants to stop him. Just then Aditya comes and tells her not to be upset but make a good dinner cos' the way to a man's heart is through his stomach and Jai's stomach is huge.
Meera with a very straight face asks Aditya whether Bani had come to Walia Mansion last night. He replies in the positive and says she had come. Meera asks him what Bani is like and he tells her that Bani is very innocent, pure as the Ganges and like the first dew drop. Meera then asks him whether when Bani comes back…she is unable to finish the sentence. Aditya says Bani is like henna who will get crushed but still bring color in everyone's life. He says that Jai was the one who taught them to trust Bani and now he doesn't trust her but everyone else in the families trust is yet strong because Bani can do no wrong.
Bani goes to the crematorium and is stopped by the guards. She tells them it is her children there and she comes there often. The guards tell her that she can't go there any longer because they have got strict orders. She tells them she knows who must've given them the orders. Jai comes and tells her if she knows then why is she still there. She tells him he cannot stop her from going there. Jai tells her he is just keeping her away from the crematorium but she took them away from him forever. Bani tells him that he can tell her what he wishes but not that she was responsible for their death. He questions her as to where she was when they were kidnapped and answers it by saying with her boyfriend himself. She tries to say something but he says he doesn't want to hear a thing since it's all over her face. He holds her by the arm and pushes her out.
Bani falls into Maasi's arms who wants to slap Jai but controls herself. She tells him that she thought he had forgotten humanity but now she see's that he has become worse than an animal. She tells him that he has become stone minded and Bani did not make him stone hearted as he would like to believe. She tells him that you can keep her away from the land you call yours but the soul of the children will always be with their mother. She then tells him that he is not god and that he doesn't even understand the meaning of mother. She tells him she loved him more than his own mother and that it meant nothing to him. She tells him that there are two kinds of people one who don't have anyone who love them and the second where Jai falls those who have someone but brush them away and don't know what they have lost. Maasi tells Jai that if he tries to do anything he will see her dead face and not even be a part of her last rites.
