Sorry friends for the delay 😭 😭 ....…last week I had classes and also job was tiring so I couldn't update…..really really sorry for that 😭 😭 ……
Here goes the next part:
Part 10:
Next day morning, to her luck, bani managed to stand in the front of the bus which indicates that she did not have seniors to rag her 😊 . She was gloomy all the time and was just staring in the space at the bus in spite of the constant bak-bak of sandhya 😆 . When sandhya observed it and questioned about it, she brushed it off saying it was nothing. Bani even skipped her breakfast saying that she that she didn't want it. For the first time she was highly irritated and frustrated and she herself didn't knew the reason . Still in a gloomy mood, she went to her class .
Jai who was already in the class saw bani approaching the class but she didn't see him as she does every time. He was upset 😭 😉 by that but didn't show it. Classes went by smoothly with neither jai nor bani fully concentrating on the classes. But bani did write her running notes as her habit. She was unusually quiet all the day. Finally the classes passed by and the time to go home also came. Now even jai was finding it difficult to maintain his calmness by the end of the day. Hence now both went to their homes sulking.
This was the routine for many days and days were converted into months. Soon September 5th was approaching. And seniors insisted juniors on throwing a party in the honor of the lecturers. Hence jai and karthik (c.r) were in charge of this program. Many things changed between jai and bani.
Karthik was the class representative and he was one no before bani(i.e karthik was 9 and bani was 10). So in all labs, karthik and bani were friends and batch mates. Hence they became good friends soon 😊 . Even in the electronics lab, since bani couldn't draw well, karthik used to draw for her 👏 . In the drawing lab, she he was only in the front if bani, he used to help her with all the drawing stuff. Apart from that, he had good knowledge in the electronics related stuff and hence in the labs he used to tell her all the things. Karthik was very reservative type, he did not talk to many girls in the class. Since bani was his batch mate, they used to talk. Since as a CR, if he had any dealings with girls, he used to do it through bani. Bani was the girls CR. Any materials or xerox's to be passed on in the class, the lecturers called these two for that 😊 .
Jai on the other hand also had a girl named bhavani as his batch mate. After very few days of friendship, jai started to have a crush on her 😉 😆 . Even the whole class was aware of that. Bhavani and jai were batch mates as she was roll no 4 and he was 5. Though he was not as close as bani and karthik were, he had a crush on her. On the party preparations, as jai and karthik, bani and bhavani were in charge too. Seniors approached them and gave them good advices about how to do it. Boys were the in charge for the things to be brought from outside like cake, decorations, etc etc. and girls were to do the things in arrangements in the college. Bhavani was to anchor the show and bani was to maintain the lecturers and party arrangements.
They came to know each others name when on one of the days, they had a mini debate on a topic in English. They called each person by their name and it was then that jai and bani came to know of their names. Karthik gave some stuff to bani and ask them to give it to jai 😃 . Bani was shocked 😲 that she has to face jai all alone 😆 . All these days when ever they met, they had someone beside them. So in all their discussions, they never saw each other face to face 😆 . Whatever they need to talk on something, bani used to tell either by facing karthik or bhavani. She never faced jai nor maintained any eye contacts 😃 . But jai on the other hand used to see her, talk while seeing her 😆 😉 . But when she lifted her head to face him, he turned his faces to the other so that she didn't know about that 😉 . Things always went by like this.
Now, bani have to face him alone 😉 . Bani had a very strange habit. She never used the word excuse me, whenever she needed way. Whenever she walks and some one is there in her way, she always used to cough to get attention but never said excuse me. For this, she had name which all the class used to tease her as "vicks ki goli lo kich kich door karo" 😆 . They used to call her vicks for that 😆 . Now, when she approached him, he was facing the other way. So she coughed to get the attention 😆 . Jai on the other was very much aware of her habit and hence to make her more uncomfortable, didn't turn 😆 .
Bani was like…… "oh god…wat to do now….". so she coughed again little louder to get his attention 😆 . He didn't turn even now. Bani was like "kahaa phas gaye….is he deaf…. 😆 ."
Jai was enjoying all her discomfort and continued to do so 😆 . Now bani decided that… "enough was enough….budhu…suno 😆 .."
Bani: jai 😉 😛 (very slowly………..)
Jai: wow…it feels so good to hear it from her mouth. To hear again 😈 😈 , he didn't turn 😉 .
Bani: "god he is defiantly deaf 😆 "….jai……(little louder)
Jai: nope….he doesn't turn 😉 …..
Bani: now on the peak of anger 😡 , shouted jai 😡 …………….
Jai: turned and said…. "don't shout bani, I am not deaf 😆 …"
Bani: " was like…yeah yeah….like I don't know u r deaf 😆 …"
Jai: kuch kaam tha 😃 …..
Bani: was like haah 🤔 ….
Jai: god she looks so cute giving such confusing expressions….. " meine kahaa kuch kaam tha kya😆…"
Bani: haan …woh…karthik ne ye diya tha…app ko dene ke liye….
Jai: " was like….aaaap" oh…………
Bani: aur kahaa tha ki…aap ko inhe subah lane hain….
Jai: jee theek hain….jaise aap kahe😆…(mocking way)
Bani: jee…maine nahin… usne kahaa hain😉…
Jai: "who..usne…aur mai😡…aap😡"…jee theek hain….
Bani: achaa..mein chalthi hoon……..and was about to leave….
Jai: was not ready to leave her….so said….waise party ke arrangements kaise chal rahe hain…….
Bani: "god I want to escape aur yeh chod hi nahin rahaa😆"…jee theek hain….
Jai: mera matlab….aaaaaaap(stressing😆) ko kuch help chahiye………….
Bani: jee nahin….thanks….
Jai: no problem…..
Bani : jee….and was turning to leave….
Jai: agar kuch chahiye toh pooch lenaa😆….
Bani: was like…..god……….😆jee zaroor….and was again going to leave….
Jai: sare lecturers ko invitations de diyaa…. 😆
Bani: "phir seh………😆" jee… de diyaa…..
Jai: seniors ko……… 😆
Bani: "highly impatient😆" nahin….abhi unke classes chal rahe hain….break me de denge…"
Jai: break kab hain………..(grinning inside seeing her discomfort😆)
Bani: "kya yeh janta nahin………😆" ji..….10-15 min me….
When jai was about to ask another question….
Bani: jee sare kaam hogaye😆….decorations kal subah kar doongi😆….invitations ho gaye😆….sab ko bata diyaa😆….koi kami nahin kain😆…..sab cheezain hain😆….kuch bhi nahin chahiye😆…..sab ayenge😆…party achaa ki hogaa😆……aur kuch nahin hain😆…….bas kush😆…….
Jai: simply nodded….
Bani: jee… thanks…..i am going….
This time she left as soon as possible so that she didn't face to face him again………
Jai: he was fully happy and bursted out laughing🤣 as soon she left….thinking "god she is so coward…." But still it feels so good to talk with her…..after all…it was their first private meeting…………….. 😉
