KS FF & Siggy Contest - Final Date

Dear Friends, 😃

On request of some of our members, the KS Development Team has decided to extend the last date for submission of FFs and Siggies till Friday, 30 November 2007.

Please remember that this is THE FINAL DATE for submission and there will be no further extensions.

From the above link -

For the Fanfic Contest, we will provide you with some phrases which you will use as a clue to pen the Fanfics. There are 10 such clues and they are provided below. However, you don't have to follow the clues as they are mentioned, they can be placed in a random order across the Fanfic. Here goes the clues :

A crushed, red coloured rose A broken champagne flute An old portrait Stormy sky A torn paper clipping A wicked grin Hot cinnamon rolls A long drive at night A mighty slap
• Velvet

The length of the FF can be as per your wishes but please do highlight in bold all the 10 clues used. There is no word limit for the FFs.

Members can submit up to 2 Fanfics each.

For the Siggy part, the Fanfic writers have to submit a siggy each for every FF they write. The Siggy should bear the name of the FF, but should not disclose the name of the siggy maker in any way. The standard guidelines for making siggies in I-F will prevail.

A siggy maker can make as many siggies as he/ she wants.

The FFs and Siggies have to be submitted together and NOT separately through PMs only. And the FFs have to be fresh ones, and not continuation of any story already running in the Section.

There will be separate Voting for the Fanfics and the Siggies. This detail will be put forward in the Voting link later.

Umm, I have a question, the siggie maker's name should not be there in the siggies. But while sending the entry, will the author have to put the siggie maker's name with the story? 😕

Yes you may write your own ff using all the hints, and you have to ask someone to make the siggy, that goes with your ff

Yes the author would have to send the name of the siggy maker with their story

Yes B. Its a Siggy competition too.

So the siggy maker shouldn't write his/ her name in the Siggy. But while submitting the entry to any of the dev Team members, FF writers should provide us with the name of the siggy maker.
