Part 25
Bani came out of the hospital in a state of shock and she was so lost…..she didn't know what to do or think. She clutched the reports in her chest and couldn't believe this is happening to her…..in the state of daze she went to her car and drove to the beach
Once on the beach she broke down crying badly…….she kept on shouting "WHYYYY ME….."…she remembered all the wonderful times that she spent with Jai and cried even more as she realized that all that left for her was only memories….she continued crying for so long that she has no tears to shed…
Soon she realized that it was getting late and everyone will be worried if she gets back late especially Jai and right now she didn't want to face anyone but she composed herself and her emotions so that no one will suspect that something is wrong…..with that she wiped her tears that had dried by now and headed back home.

When she reached home she was glad that Jai was not back yet so she went to her room to freshen up and tried her best to bring a smile to her face cause if Jai sees her in this state he will be worried and that was the last thing she wanted right now. Before that she hid her reports in her cupboard where Jai couldn't find it.
She came down and helped Raashi in the kitchen to prepare dinner….she did the work in daze and hardly heard anything that Raashi was talking about…..she was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't realize that she cut her finger till she felt the pain and saw blood oozing out…….she just kept staring at her blood till Raashi saw it and took her out to the living room to bandage it
Right that moment Jai entered the house and when he saw the cut on Bani's finger he freaked out and came to her side in a second……Raashi went to take the first aid box while Jai took her to the sofa and sat her down…..Bani just kept looking at Jai's face and saw how scared he looked when it was just a minor cut and without realizing her eyes filled with tears just looking the love for her in his eyes.
Raashi came back and gave the fist aid box to Jai and excused herself and went to the kitchen…….Jai very delicately took her hands in his and applied the medicine on her finger and when she felt the medicine on her finger she flinched as it hurts……Jai quickly withdrew back and blew on her finger so that it will feel cooling……
While doing that he felt a tear drop on his cheeks and he looked up at Bani and saw tears in her eyes and he got scared…he cupped her face and asked
Jai : Bani are u alright…..does it hurt a lot…….he asked gently
Bani just nodded her head in no……only he knew why was she crying…..she felt so bad that she cant tell him the truth but the worst part was that he loves her so much that she cant take it…….she felt as though she was the worst human being on this world and didn't deserve him
Jai hugged her and told her that the pain will be gone soon and don't worry he was here for her…..after a while he broke the hug and bandaged her finger and once done he kissed that finger and said "Now it will heal sooner as u got the best medicine applied and that is my kiss" he said mischievously………Bani laughed at his antics and Jai was glad cause he couldn't see her in pain……..Bani told him to freshen up and they will have dinner together…..he obeyed and went up
Bani made her way to the kitchen to prepare for dinner but she was still lost in her thoughts but this time around she was more careful………soon everyone came down for dinner but it was only four of them as Massi went back to Chandigarh….however the dinner was a lovely affair as they all talked and enjoyed their food……Jai was keeping an eye on Bani as her fingers was injured and once in a while he fed her as she was lost somewhere but snapped out as soon as she felt Jai beside her
Once dinner was over everyone made their way to their rooms as they was tired and had a long day ahead….Bani changed into her nightgown and made her way to the balcony while Jai was in the bathroom…….Bani kept staring at the sky and got lost in her thoughts again.
Jai came out of the bathroom and didn't see Bani in the room but saw the balcony door open…..he made his way there and saw Bani standing there gazing at the sky……she looked like deep in thought….Jai noticed that she was a bit aloof today but when she came his office she was alright…..he went behind her and wrapped his hands around her waist and said
Jai : What's wrong jaan u look worried…..he asked concern
Bani came out of her thoughts when she felt his hands around her and closed her eyes to memorize his touch……she composed herself when she heard his voice full of concern for her…….she turned and gave him a small smile and said
Bani : Its nothing Jai…..just felling tired…..she said reassuringly
Jai just nodded but somewhere in his heart he knew something was wrong but he didn't give it a second thought and picked her up in his arms and led her to the bed……he tucked her in and joined her……Bani came nearer to him and rested her head on his chest and he automatically wrapped his arms around her and said "Good night sweetheart"….she replied the same and closed her eyes
When she felt Jai sound asleep she opened her eyes and stared at his face……..she can feel tears forming in her eyes and said in her heart " I'm sorry Jai……I cant tell u the truth because I know how much u love me and if u get to know about this u will be heart broken and shattered……I have decided to look bad infront of u and the family from tomorrow onwards and hope I will succeed cause I don't want u'll to see me dieing everyday and the best way to keep u'll out of this pain is by going far away from all of u especially u Jai cause u wont be able to see me in pain………how can I tell u that I have only 6 months to leave cause I'm dieing of leukemia……I love u so much to see u dieing everyday infront of me" tears stream down her eyes as she said all this to herself……..tomorrow onwards her life will change forever and she prayed to God to help her to make everyone hate her especially Jai………………….with that she kept looking at Jai as this will be last time she will be this close to him……
Now I'm going to hide.....i'm sure u'll will come after me with belans......pls don't be angry.....i thought the story was lacking of emotional drama so thought of bringing a twist to the story so that u'll wont get bored reading........plsss do comment...good or bad.....sorry for any mistakes
