Chapter 9 (weekend spl)
As the lift opened, he lightly touched Bani's hand signaling her to follow him, after the security got his car, he slid into the driver's seat and waited for Bani make herself comfortable.

Jai wanted Bani to know how uncomfortable he felt once he realized that Roshni knew that they had consummated their marriage. He wanted her to give him time to get used to the very idea that he sleeping arrangements at his own home might change from night to night. From the time he got engaged to Roshni, there were no other women in his life and all of a sudden after making love to Bani it was very difficult of him to get back to Roshni's bed without any guilt. He felt he had cheated her after all these years of togetherness……
Jai watched Bani standing on the shore waiting for the waves to come and wet her feet. Why should she be bothered with his un-easiness, though she has never said it in words, behaving like a perfect bahu of the house, but her eyes tell him that she never wanted to get married to him in the first place….was there anyone else in her life, who was the man the other day on her mobile calling her darling, well does he have the right to know about her past now after so many days after their marriage? Specially nobody seemed to be bothered about her wish, like, want at the time of the ceremony…..Jai took a deep breath, ran and pulled Bani into the water…

Bani shifted her position and then woke up with a start hearing a car zooming past with music full blast…she sat up on the bed with a jerk…as the sound died, she looked towards her side, Jai was not there, where could he be, she looked towards the bathroom, there was no light through its door…..so he has left the room already, did not wait for the night to get over, her face crumpled.....
The evening was the best one since Bani had arrived in Mumbai, they got themselves wet, ate bhel and golgappe sitting on the bench on the beach and returned home hand in hand then creeped upto her room, they cleaned each other under the shower and then fell on the bed to make love and now he has gone back, the first time he waited for the morning to break but today, Bani could not believe that after acting as an attentive and caring lover, he could leave, hoping from one bed to another, one wife to another…..Bani suddenly felt like the 'other woman'.

Jai got up as soon as the sunlight filtered through the curtains, after a long long time he was sleeping on the sofa, yesterday night, the honking of the taxi woke him up to find Roshni shouting at the security guard for not opening the gate promptly….after he pulled the curtain back, he checked on Bani, she was in deep sleep, he crept out of the room to go down, Roshni was in foul mood no doubt, he had come away without informing her and had also switched off his mobile….Roshni glared at him, baap banne ki bari jaldi hai tumko, kamse kam inform toh kiya karo so that I don't have to be stranded and look like a fool in middle of the party'…she stomped off to her room and banged the door shut…

Bani waited for Pia to open the door, I hope she is there, she prayed and was relieved to see Pia,
Areh Bani tu, yaad ayi hamari….
Bani smiled...
Keya baath hai Bani, sab theek toh hai na...
Ji, aap kahi ja rahe ho...
Bazaar ja rahi thi, lekin tu aja...baith baith, mai chai banati hu...
Nehi di, chaliye mai bhi aapke saath bazaar chalti....
Tu chalegi, Jai Walia mujhe mar nehi dalega, itna dhoop me mai unki biwi ko lekar sabji kharidne gayi...
Bani quickly blinked her tears away and said, chaliye na di and turned towards the staircase...Pia opened her mouth to protest but Bani was already going down the stairs, she pulled the door shut and followed her…
The whole day, the two sisters shopped grocery, cooked and washed just like the old times…
Bani ek baath pochhu….

Ma bol rahi thi, tu unse baate nehi karti, unko phone nehi karti, keya baath hai…
Bani kept quiet, she is yet to forgive her parents for forcing her to get married, she knew Buaji wanted her hand, but they were her parents, they could have refused, specially after yesterday night, she no longer wanted to be Jai Walia's so called 2nd wife….
Keya baath karu, kuch khas bolne layek hi nehi tha, unko dukh pahuchana nehi chahati…
Abhi bhi…I mean….
Tum jo sooch rahi ho woh nehi, lekin I am still to be comfortable in that house…

Jai waited for the peon to leave after serving his and Aditya lunch, since Bani had taken over the kitchen, ma was sending his lunch over, simple and tasty food from all over the world, Aditya requested Bani to send the same for him too, nehi toh tumhara pati to adha pet khana milega…
As Jai & Aditya tucked in the food they realized that food was not cooked by Bani, but more like their old cook….
Jai frowned whats wrong with Bani, she was not present for breakfast, he thought she overslept, hope she is well after all those junk food….
He dialed home, Tony the butler picked up….
Bani ko do…
Didiji nehi hai aap ma ji se baath kijiye….
Ma, Bani kaha….
Beta maloom nehi, subah jab breakfast bheji toh lauta di…maine socha tabiyaat theek nehi hai, kuch der baad patah chala…woh bahar gayi hai, gari bhi nehi li, abhi tak lauti nehi….
Uski mobile no. dijiye…
Mobile, uske pass toh mobile nehi hai…
Keya…
Ha beta, maine kaha tha usse, lena chahati hai to le le, lekin mujhe kaha, mai kaha jati hu, jo mobile lu….
Jai kept down the phone, why is she hiding her mobile no. from Ma…
Keya baath hai Jai…
Pata nehi Aditya, Roshni is upset aur patah nehi Bani ko keya ho gaya……
You seem to be stuck between two angry women, Jai…
Are you amused…
No Jai, just wanted to wish you 'all the best'…..Aditya winked…

Bani did not want to return home, she did not what to do back to the place where she will be just used as a tool, initially this knowledge did not hurt her much but after they have became lovers, it pains to think that Jai's true love is Roshni, he is committed to her though he is not her love but she has taken steps to put Pushkar away from her life, though she did not tell him the truth yet but she also has not contacted him after their last meeting…
There was a massive traffic jam, Bani got further delayed…
When she entered the hall of Walia Mansion finally, she saw Buaji sitting on the sofa with Jigyasa and Aditya…
Kaha thi tum…
Mai Pia di ke ghar gayi thi…
Bata ke nehi ja sakti thi....
Bani kept quiet...
Humlog police me khabar dene wale the....
Isme police me khabar dene ki keya baath ho gayi, phone kar sakte the Piadi ko pata lag jata
Buaji was surprised, she was not used to her family members answering back….
Phone kiya tha tum, char ghanta pehle nikli ho, kitna der kaha thi…
Traffic jam me phas gayi thi…
Char ghanta….
Bani kept quiet…
Buaji noted the sand in her sandals …oh awara giri kar rahi thi…
Bani glared at her…
Dai Ma jane dijiye…bachchi hai…..
Itna bhi bachchi nehi Aditya, Jai Bhai ko parishan karke rakh diya....chalo phone lagao, bol do a gayi hai...humlogo ko ijjajat dijiye ma, hume kahi jana hai....bekar bekar saabko parishan karke rakh diya....
Bani went upto her room and locked her door, let Bua do whatever she wants to, o.k she might not love Jai Walia the way Roshni does but he should atleast give her his minimum respect as a woman. He just cannot hop beds the same night and what will Bua understand, as it she is blind towards her munna and she never married, so how will she know how Bani feels…
It was Pia di who was manglik thought Bani but all said and done she is having a happier life than Bani, yeh saab manglik wanglik kuch nehi hota hai, saab jyotishiyo ka paisa banane ka chaal hai…
