The episode starts with the kids coming to the dining table to eat food. Bani tells them that she has made all their favorite things like pasta etc. they sit down and Atharva asks her whether they will go to their father once food is over. She tells them they can however there are some surprises yet left. Krishna says that they don't eat till they hear a story and that Jai always told them a story. She tells them that she will tell them a story 'there was once a princess whose mother and father loved her very much. Then one day they left her and went away and she was left all alone. She came to the city from the small happy town with her two sisters. She then meets a man who she thinks is her prince but he turns out be an evil devil. ' Atharva tells her that they don't want to hear this one since it is sad and Jai always told them happy stories. Bani asks them which story do they want to hear, she will tell them that story. They tell her that they don't want to hear any story but want to go to their father. They are not eating the food and throwing tantrums which angers Bani and she shouts at them. Krishna tells her that her father never shouted at her and that she doesn't like it with Bani and wants to go back to Jai. Atharva says the same and they get up and leave. Bani is saddened and Rano goes to put the kids to sleep.
Aparajit Deb calls Bani up and asks her how is the time with the kids going on to which he replies himself stating what a stupid question that was to ask. He tells her to get the kids to the birthday party in the evening and that they would enjoy it to which Bani agrees. She is in the room with the kids deciding what they will wear for the party at night. Jai Walia calls up on the landline and stays quiet. She keeps on saying hello when the kids get excited and take the phone from them and keep on telling their 'papa' to say something. He doesn't and Bani takes the phone and asks who it is again. Jai keeps the phone down.
Jai goes to various places and offices looking for a job but to no avail. People either turn him down saying it is too small a job for him or that he won't be able to take orders from someone since he is used to giving them.
Jigyasa calls Jai up and tells him to come home fast and with some money since the landlords are going to be coming to collect it. When the landlords come he yet isn't home. Jigyasa tries reasoning with the men but to no avail. The men push Aditya and Jigyasa aside and start throwing their clothes when Jai enters. She is crying and telling him that they have come to a stage where they don't even have a thousand rupees or a morsel of food at home. She tells him to call up Bani and give her this piece of good news.
Ranveer is standing at the window, lost in his thoughts when Raashi comes up to him and says that this house is so small that even if they don't want to see each other they will bump into each other. Ranveer tells her that he will make sure she comes no where near him. She tries reasoning with him and tells him that she is his wife and he cant turn away this way and brush her off. He says that she is not his wife. Raashi holds him by his collar and tells him that she is Raashi his wife, to which he answers that she isn't and Rano is and it was Raashi who tied them in this relationship and that he considers Rano as his family. She questions him again and tells him that today she is with him and not Rano and Ranveer tells her that Rano isn't there because she was made to sacrifice for Raashi. Ranveer pushes her away and she falls down on the mattress.
Pia is standing at the window and thinking of how Bani is enjoying at the WM while she is stuck in this chawl. She then remembers about some money she had with herself and goes to the cupboard to check whether it is still there. This is when she chances upon the dvd having Sahil's statement in it. She has an evil glint in her eyes.
Moksh is working as a mechanic now and when he is taking the bike somewhere he and the older sister (I am sorry I don't remember her name) have a crash and she invites him for the party at night too.
Bani, Atharva and Krishna are ready to leave for the party (all looking good!) and the kids are very happy that they will now get to see their father. They reach the party and are enjoying. The kids question as to where Jai is. Outside the manager is firing a waiter and asking him to get a replacement. Jai over hears and approaches him for the job. He is said he would be paid Rs. 100 for each hour and that he should go change into the waiters outfit.
Moksh comes for the party and the older sister is elated and goes to get something to drink for him. While she is away the middle sister comes and is surprised to see him there and starts talking to him. The youngest sister looks there and has an expression of 'this is not good' on her face. (Another love triangle in the making!)
When Jai is serving the drinks Bani thinks she saw him as a waiter but then someone comes and takes her away while Jai seeing Bani moves away. A magic show takes place in which the children are least interested in and instead say they want to see their father and why hasn't Jai come still. Bani doesn't know what to say and then AD comes in and says that he will come soon and for now they should and chocolate milkshake and ice-cream. He calls out to the waiter to get that for them when he thinks it is Jai and to make sure calls the waiter to him.
Episode ends on Jai's face.
