Naman Shaw aka Pushkar in Kasamh Se is quite a romantic. He likes the simple things in life and hopes that some day he will meet that perfect other half to share his life with.
"First and foremost she needs to be down to earth. I can't deal with people – not just girls – who throw tantrums or have an attitude problem. I'd like my partner to be sweet and good looking but all in all a nice girl," says Shaw.
Naman says he finds a lot of himself in his character Pushkar. "I most closely resemble Pushkar in real life. In Kyunki…I play this angry young guy and in real life I'm never really angry. Pushkar is the kind of guy I'm very close to for many reasons because it was not only my first role but also that I'm very much like that in real life. You know simple, straight forward, happy go lucky, works hard…that's how I am."
For an actor who has generated a huge fan following and can definitely be counted amongst the good looking men on Indian television Naman says he is yet to have his first girlfriend. "I am very much single. You might find this surprising but I haven't had one yet… I'm still to get in a relationship. I'd like to go out with someone who enjoys the same things as I do… she basically needs to be a lot like me. Someone who doesn't take too much tension in life and is a happy go lucky kind of girl."
