Hey kripa thanks so much for continuing and updating.The update was brilliant. Thanks. I love the walias they are such a cute close knit family and you have portrayed their family bond really well glad you liked it. I love the rapport that they all have with Bani its sweet na. Its like she is one of them yep . They treat her like a daughter.
Awww poot Bani still feels guilty and Jai can read that ... I cant wait for the conversation between Jai and Bani me either.

Jai held her hand, and she stilled holding her breath. Jai pulled her hand a little and called out to her 'Bani' his voice was weak but tender 'Bani look at me please' he pleaded and Bani looked up slowly in his eyes and for a moment time stilled for her as what all she saw in his eyes was love for her, she had held herself together for too long and not anymore, she got up sitting on the edge of the bed hid her face in his chest hugging him she let her tears flow down freely as Jai wrapped his left arm around Bani as the other was plastered when he needed both his arms to comfort the women he loved yes he loved her and he had been a fool to not have realized this when he was leaving India for his MBA, now that he looked back he knew why those eyes haunted him, he was just infatuated by Roshni, what he felt for Bani right now as she sat with her head on his chest was divine, never had he felt anything close to this when he had been with Roshni. Mustering some courage Bani got up needing to talk to him, she looked at him….

Bani: Jai I'm so sorry, meri wajeh se yeh

Jai silenced her by putting his finger on her lips, 'Bani tumhari wajeh se kuch nahi hua'

Moving his hand 'Nahi Jai sab meri galti hai, na meh ghar se aise bhagti aaur na tum mere peeche aate.'

Jai: nahi Bani its not your fault so please don't blame yourself for this.

Bani: Jai I can't stop feeling guilty, agar tum mujhe bachane ke liye samne nahi aate toh

Jai: toh meri jageh tum yahan hoti, he felt her hand tremble a bit beneath his hold, he brought it up to his lips; aaur woh meh dekh nahi pata, agar mere bas meh ho toh tumhare saare gum, saare takleef khud per le loon aaur mere saare khushiyaan tumhe mil jayen.

She was so touched both of their eyes moist, Bani held his face between her palms 'itna pyaar karte ho mujhse'

Jai just nodded, while she did something neither of them had imagined, holding his face between her palms touched her lips to his, what was just a mere touch of lips sent shivers down both their spines, pulling Bani closer he kissed her soft and slow with just the right amount of passion, but maybe too much for the condition Jai was in, to get better access he tried to bring his right arm forward to get up causing him to scream with pain. Bani quickly helping him lay down.

Bani: Jai

Jai smiled don't worry meh theek hoon, I guess just got a little carried away.

Bani smiled blushing a little, and they were interrupted by the nurse who had brought dinner for Jai.

Nurse: dinner Mr. Walia

Bani: I'll take that

Nurse: Mrs. Walia make sure he eats well now, and left winking at her while Bani turned more red, while Jai had a smile on his lips.
Bani brought the tray to Jai who didn't want to eat.
Jai: Bani mera bilkul man nahi kar raha khane ka
Bani: Jai you have to eat, nahi khaoge toh kamzori ho jayegi

Jai: theek hai magar tumhe bhi mere saath khana parega, I know tumne bhi kuch nahi khaya hoga

Bani gave him a spoon of soup, second time when she brought it close to him, he shook his head 'ab tum khao' just like tht they both shared the food from the same plate.

After finishing the food Bani gave Jai his medication and tucked him in, 'good night Jai'

Jai: Bani tum ghar kyun nahi chali jaati, yaahan nurses toh hain na, aaur fir raat ko yahan tum kya karogi ?
Bani: Jai meh kahin nahi jaa rahi, i'm staying right here with you her hands folded across her chest. She looked real cute that way whenever she did that and he knew she wasn't going to listen now. Kissing him on the forehead one time she dimmed the lights and went and laid on the recliner.

Walia house

Uday and Krishna had returned home tired they went to their room, Anu came in there when she found out they were here.
Anu: Mom Dad aap dono yahan, wahan bhai ke paas kaun hai?
Uday: Bani ruki hai uske paas.
Anu: ok, Dad doctor ne kuch kaha bhai ko kab tak wahan rakhenge?
Uday: nothing for sure lets see it all depends on his recovery
Krishna: Anu woh Roshni
Anu: don't worry Ma, puch rahi thi bhai ke baare meh but i didn't tell her anything and one more thing she is gone from the house.
Krishna: aacha hua.
Anu: aap dono thake hue lag rahe hain, why don't you'll freshen up meh khana lagwati hoon.

It had been a week that Jai was in the hospital and everyday his family was there till late hours with him keeping him company, but he was worried about Bani, despite all the attempts from him and others she would not go home and rest she had let everyone know that she'll only return when Jai was discharged, she had lost a little weight and was very fatigued. He couldn't take it anymore, for he knew if things went like they were she was bound to fall sick very soon. So he had decided enough was enough he was going home and noone was going to stop him.

Bani: Jai kya kar rahe ho?

Jai had gotten out of bed and stood holding on to Bani.

Jai: Bani we're going home

Bani: Jai tum yeh kya keh rahe ho, abhi doctors neh tumhe discharge nahi kiya hai. Aaur phir tumhara zhakam bhi nahi bhareh hai indicating to his arm.

Jai: Bani aaram toh meh ghar per bhi karsakta hoon, magar agar kuch din aaur meh yahan raha toh shayad issi hospital meh tum bhi kisi kamre meh hogi.

Bani gasped, he touched the side of her face 'dekha hai apni taraf, kitni kamzoor ho gayi ho, na theek se khati ho na raat ko so paati ho.

Bani: magar tumhara zakham

Jai: Bani yahan meri bandage kaun roz badalta hai?

Bani: meh

Jai: exactly toh ghar per bhi tum hi badal sakti ho na, yeh hospital walon ka kya kuch bhi kehte rehte hain. Aur rahi baat meri per ki toh you and I both know it'll take time to recover and that plaster will be there for another few weeks so you see there is no real point in me staying here except making some big bucks for this hospital.

Bani: you're not going to give up are you

Jai smiled: the car will be here in ten minutes

Bani: u called for the car too?

Jai: sure did, didn't want to give u a chance to persuade me otherwise grinning ear to ear.

Bani under her breath 'smarty pants thinks he's got it all'

Jai inched closer to her 'care to share'

Bani smiled 'no' and was about to move to gather the things when she felt herself being pulled back 'thanks for the compliment, I know I'm smart glad you reconfirmed it…see its good for my ego' and they both burst out laughing. She hit his chest playfully, 'tum bhi'

Jai: meh bhi kya hmm

Bani: kuch nahi I give up and now if you will sit down and rest that foot of yours I can gather up your things and go talk to the doctor..

Bani went and spoke to Muskan who said as it is they were going to discharge Jai in a day or two it was ok if he went today, just make sure you change his bandage twice like you've been doing here along with giving him all his medication on time.

Bani: I'll do that, and Muskan thanks a lot for everything

Muskan: no problem its my job! And I expect to see you in three weeks… to check the position of his leg, and hopefully cut that plaster.

There was a page for Muskan, 'ok Bani I'll take your leave now, take care' giving her a quick hug.

The Walia house was buzzing, Krishna had poor Tony on his toes getting the house clean and decorated as his son was coming home. She was so happy, these past days seemed like years to her with out Jai in the house, she hadn't felt like so even when Jai was gone out to study abroad. But today her joy knew no bounds.

Anu: Mom relax sab ho raha hai

Krishna: kya ho raha hai, woh ata hi hoga aaur yahan dekh kuch hua hi nahi hai. Aaur sun Jai ke kamre phool rakhe ki nahi?

Anu: Mom Mom maine khud bhai ke kamre meh unke favorite flowers set kar diye hain.

Krishna: aaur pooja ki thali? Meh toh bhool hi gayi

Anu: Mom calm down I'll go and fix the thali, and left from there before her mom freaked out anymore… no that wasn't possible Anu gave a second thought..laughing to herself.

Jai and Bani were on their way home from the hospital and Bani couldn't help her eyes getting moist as she remembered how Jai had gotten hit when they got on that road. Jai saw her shoulders tremble and didn't take him long to realize what she was thinking, he gently tapped her on the shoulder wiping her tears, made her look in his eyes 'Bani, you cant keep feeling guilty for what happened, there is nothing for you to feel guilty for.'

Bani: Jai agar tumhe kuch ho jata toh meh apne aap koh kabhi maaf nahi karpati

Jai: agar mujhe kuch hua hota toh na, dekho idhar meh tumhare saamne hoon, aaur bilkul theek hoon... haan hagar tum issi tarah roti rahi toh kuch nahi keh sakta.

Bani smiled a bit, shaking her head 'you're impossible you know that, har baat meh romance sujta hai'

Jai just grinned....and soon the car stopped as it reached its destination.
