After his wife Gautami (the new Tulsiben), it's roly poly Kasamh Se star Ram Kapoor's turn to walk into Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi from July 4, reports CNN IBN. Bollywood's ace designer Manish Malhotra has been roped in to design his new look. And this is not the first time Manish is helping out buddy Ekta Kapoor in giving a hip look to a character of her series. Earlier, he gave Sakshi Tanwar, the main protagonist of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, a new makeover. Sakshi (more popularly known as Parvati Bhabhi), who returned to the serial after an 18-year jump, looks far more ravishing than she ever did in her 'younger' days. But Ram Kapoor's makeover is said to be a killer one. "He plays a cross between Jack Nicholson in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Al Pacino in The Devil's Advocate. Ram plays an eccentric recluse who lives all alone with his cats," Ekta said to the channel. One big grouse of television artists has been the drastic ageing they have to undergo due to huge time-leaps, and often a 25-year-old is made to play the role of a senior citizen. Baa on Kyunki is already 240 years old, and still counting. And quite a few actors quit shows, unable to digest the bizarre ageing. Well, Dr Manish Malhotra seems to have come to the rescue. He can make anyone look younger and hipper (saw the magic he did to the sixty plus Rajnikant in Sivaji?), so it's no wonder a whole lot of Balaji's actors have apparently been lining up for their turn. Rumours are good ol' Baa is first in queue. Now that would be a challenge bigger than Rajni Saar, dear Manish.
