chap 60

bani smiled she thought he forgotted but then how could he, she kissed on his left cheek and said'good morning to you too .." and she went downstairs the whole house was sparkling with lights and red and white swirls everywhere fresh flowers were kept.. the godhbharai time was of 6:00 in the evening...massi had strictly warned jai to not go out of the house for office but then woh kaha sunnewala tha he promised to be back on time..😃

finishing the lunch some beautician came and took bani in her room to start decking her up.. bani was feeling nervous as the beautician were decking her as if it was her wedding and not godhbharai but massi had insisited that this ceremony is much important as the wedding and today she deffinetly should look like a dulhan😳

it took almost 2 and half hours till bani finally was ready. clad in her sweet pink lehenga with satin lining,thick glittering border and vertical stripes broadening downwards are beautifully studded with antique zardozi.kundan and colored dabka work.. her huge mtaching pink and golden diamong set with its mangtikka and pair of hath panjas... shimmering golden, pink and diamond bangles in her wrist.coupled by the kangaans😃

matching round bindi with her hair done in a simple bun hairstyle with diamond clips in it.. her net duppata covering her head... she finally looked herself in mirror . she was glowing and with the pink color on her made her look more beautiful... remembering pink is his fav color her cheeks went red😳

the beautician left making sure everything was done... massi rano and jigyasa all came one by one and admired her saying how beatiful she looked..once everyone left since the guests had started to come. she slowly stood up from the table she was sitting and went towards the cupboard .she knew he must be on his way . she took out a cream and black color sherwani for him and layed it on the bed...

taking out his gel.gold wrist bracelete, and then lastly a diamond stud which was in gold.😉while gathring all his stuff her payals kept making a chham chham sound... making her realise that it was her first gift he had gave her...

soon she heard a soft click of door to open looking towards the door wondering now who will it be but then seeing who it was she just bowed her head down...jai was just starring at the angel standing infront of him.. for once he wondered was it the same bani he knew... she looked damn different. he hadnt expected to get this beatiful welcome after he had got a huge round of yelling from massi to be late😆he just blinked and blinked. seeing no move or word from him .she slowly parted her dry lips and finally with slow voice said"kaisi lag rahi hu..?" 😳

by hearing her soft voice he came back to earth, he took few steps forward making her heart skip a beat . he slowly placed his finger below her chin and lifted her face up... her cheeks's color was same as her choli .he leaned abit more closer his lips touching her ear he whispered" the word beautiful seems so small to describe you right now...bas itna keh sakta hu ke is waqt tum bikul ek pari lagrahi ho jo asmaan se sirf aur sirf mere liye ayi hai.."😳 and he kissed her now burning cheeks...

his kiss made her shiver which made her bangles and payals to make sound and she said "thank you.."followd by"apke kapre meine bathroom mein rakh di...." before she could finish his index finger came and rested on her parted lips "shhh ...."his finger careesed the outline of her lips and he asked"bani.. has your beautician left you with this pink color lipstick.?"😉

bani was confused lipstick then it hitted her as she smiled shly and noded her head NO 'but i do have one of my own..." she added with blushing to no end as he leaned more closer and lightly kissed her on her lips making sure not to ruin her makeup...he pulled back smilling at her.... and before both could say anything someone knocked on the door ... bani went to fix her duppata while jai went to open the door.

it was rano "armmm bani di.. function shuru honewala hai. unhe niche lejana hai.." jai smiled and let her come inside their room....seeing bani applying her lipstick she knew wat had happened😉 and she dared not to look at jai if she did .he would again pull her leg😆

he stood behind rano and said'so.. i m sure tumhara bhi lipstick ka stock aisi jaldi khatam hojata hoga na?...i mean do do baar lagani parti hogi.. no i mean tumhare case mein toh it must be more then twice right..😉" rano was just looking down at the floor she knew it she knew it .😆 he would deffo say sumthing like this .once bani was ready she almost dragged her out of the room 😆

the godh bharai ceremony started (i m sorry i dont know how this punjabi godhbharis are so i m skipping that part sowwy)and soon jai also came down clad in his black and cream sherwani with his diamond gold stud😉 while other ladies where singing some folk godhbharai songs bani's gaze went towards jai.. while his were already fixed on hers. he gave him a wink which made her look down.. 😉

time arrived for the family members to bless the would be mother and her child (in jb case its children😉)... since massi was the eldest one she started the blessing ceremony...

bani tried to bend down to touch massi's feet but was unsuccesfull due to her belly and massi also stopped her from bending forward...massi kept her hand over bani's head "sada sukhi raho.. bhagwaan karre tujhe aur tere bacho ko kisiki nazar na lage.." and she kissed on her forehead and placed a gold chain around her neck and two more on her godh for the two kids....... and soon one by one all came and placed their gift and their good wishes (sorry for fastforwarding this)

now lastly came jai😉 everyone was curious to know wat would jai say and gift her actually whole walia clan was rather suspicious if he had actually bought something or not....

jai came forward he bended on his kness😳 so that he would be in same level as her(since she was sitting down) bani was getting all nervous and blushing too as everyone was starring at both of them...for a min jai just kept looking at bani's flushed face which made him abit nervous too.he slowly lifted his right hand and held her face "tumhe is puri duniya ki khushi naseeb ho.in khoobsurat ankho mein kabhi ansu na aye aur aye bhi to woh khushi ke ho... tumhara sara dukh dard mere naam aur meri sari khushi tumhare...tumhare wajah se yeh do hai(shifting his gaze to her tummy then setting it back on her face) tum khush to hum teeno khush (reffering to him and their chunu munnu)...." 👏and he placed a soft kiss on her forehead😳.

bani's eyes were already moist with his love and affection., his words touched her heart.and she knew he meant each and everyword he uttered.. she so wanted to hug him then and there but she somehow stopped herself and in return placed her free hand on his cheek and between her tears she said"thank you.."he smillingly rubbed her tears with his palms and kissed her hand which was holding his cheek😳

everyone present there was all touched by the love of this couple.. realising everyone were starring at them.they both blushed wit bani's head bowed down and jai well looking as if he didnt do or say anything😆. he slowly took out a red velvet box which had somehow two layers ... from his sherwani pocket.. once he opened the box everyone present der couldnt help but just admire the piece of 22kt gold kadaa wrapped around a red satin.

he gently took the kadaa out from the box and he held bani's right hand and bro8ght it forward and then him ever so slowly and gently slidded the kadda on her wrist.. then only did bani saw wat he had gifted her. she was all awwed with its design and more from his choice. he surely knew how to gift something to his wife...it fitted her properly.he left her hand so that she could see it properly as he asked in slow voice so that no body could hear it "pasand aya.?"😉 bani stared at the kadda and then him .she lifted her right hand more closer to her and kissed the kadda and slowly with the same low voice replied"bohot accha..bilkul appki tarha.one piece..thank you.."😳😉she knew it he couldnt do anything right now so she said wat she felt about it... while he was surprised and shocked with her reply... he surely promised her to reply her back soon about this answer of hers, through his eyes which she understood it clearly😉

now it was their chunnu munnu's turn for the gift, from the same box he removed the first layer. and from the second he took out two tinny pairs of adjustable kaddas which would be weared by both boy and girl the set of two kaddas wearable in both hands...he placed them on her lap where other gifts were kept .he finally stood up not before placing a quick kiss on her other cheek😉

soon the function got over. massi told jai to take bani in their room as she must be tired of sitting for so long...and soon as if jai was just waiting for this he came forward and started to take bani upstairs.. finishing some stepps bani all of a sudden just stopped ,her one hand went to her tummy while other one was holding jai's hand...

one of the kido kicked which made bani stop...she looked at jai and jai knew wat happened as he kept his hand over hers on her tummy smilling he lifted her in his arms and brought her inside their room... once inside he shutted the door with his leg.while bani still in his arms locked the door...😉

he softly kept her down on the middle of bed with him sitting beside her ,they both kept starring at each other for some time...and finally jai spoke up" pata hai bani .ajj tum na bilkul ek nai dulhan ki tarha lag rahi ho.. bilkul waise hi jaise tum usdin lagrahi thi.yeh ghungat.tumhare gale mein mangalsutra maang mein sindoor aisa lag raha hai jaise ajj hi hamari shaadi huwi ho aur tum is bistar pe bethkar mera intezaar kar rahi ho..."😉

they both kept starring at each other with bani getting shy with his each word and she just bowed her head down😳jai lifted his hand up and caressed her left cheek . bani took a deep breath as she said....
