Thoughts About AD’s Role

From what I have seen it does not look like JW sent AD to rescue Bani. I think he has a past (betrayal/rivalry) with JW and given what little we know he seems to like to win and has come to win some sort of final battle with JW. I think his goal is to build up Bani to be strong and than use her to destroy JW. One thing that confuses me is that does he know JW is being blackmailed into doing this because otherwise if JW hates Bani what use is Bani as leverage. Or maybe he wants to make Bani so strong that in her quest for revenge she will destroy JW and he is not thinking that having Bani in front will make JW weak. I was pondering on this because of his building the temple analogy, and Bani would be that temple that would arrest JW in his retaliation. But this would not work unless he knows the truth about Pia.

I think the ultimate goal of AD is JW's destruction. I hope they have a good story for the enimity and it is not drivel like the PR raaz.

I couldn't get why he has to do the stunt & not send someone else.

BTW Pia is going to be jalous of bani once again to have person like AD who is more powerful ( he could get Bnai out of MA/country jai couldn't) & is richer behind her(looks like Mr. Walia can't even afford a nanny)

good point.. d whole helicopter scenario and all.. bani walking by his side (as biz partners😉) pia'll be left fuming.. and jai - jealoussssss.. sigh

Good that u posted this topic..I was also wondering abt the same..from what they've shown of AD, it somehow gives us the feeling that he is afterall not brought in by Jai, but he's here just to spite Jai and settle some old score against him by using Bani and the JB current situation..

But I reallyyyyy badly wanted him to be someone that Jai has trusted to help Bani in her situation without anybody's knowledge, as his hands are tied and he isnt able to do anything for her, and I was hoping that this fact wud come up later on when Bani is in her full-fledge revenge mode destroying everyone and everything at WM, mainly Jai..but mera yeh sapna adhoora hi reh jayega lagta hai..

I want Jai to have done SOMETHING for Bani in the current helpless situation of hers, in order for me to again start loving and respecting him like before!

Come on this is an ekta show they have to kill one character to build the other. They need the new character to be the total hero of Bani so we won't have JW do anything to save bani. Nothing is realistic in the show. It's all about suspension of reality. Before they used to butcher Jai to prop bani, or bani to prop jai. Now we will have jai butchered to prop the new guy in this round. They cannot have JW in any part of the rescue. Like they wanted us to believe that what bani did during divorce alimony was the only way to save the property, now they have shown that what JW did was the only way to save bani's life and liberty.

Megs I am also very confused. I am still not sure if AD came back for avenge JW. I mean from his personality it seems he is arrogant and kind of money-minded but it is also possible that he is not negative. I am very confused is an understatement.

I think AD realises that Jai loves Bani too much to hurt her in any way. AD seems to be an intelligent guy. Since he realises that JW would not be doing all these to Bani without a reason given his love for Bani, it does not matter whether AD knows the truth about Pia or not. He already surely realises that Bani is Jai's weakness. This is what I think.

And Megs, why do I have a feeling that they are not actually butchering JW to prop AD. I mean they brought back the old JW which is a best thing to do. Even though we want JW to be behind Bani's escape, I think it would be good if he was not. AD, JW and Bani individually will have more fire. I mean AD avenging JW, JW fighting back, Bani avenging Pia and JW. It would be more fun to watch. If AD is not sent by JW that would mean JW would not be totally giving in to Bani probably due to jealousy issues and would fight back at least a little. That would spice up the show. I don't want JW to accept whatever Bani does to him. I want him to fight back.

As for the analysis...I agree with Bavie's summation of AD (check her thread)...another bit that I would like to add is "Egomaniac"...mostly for the way and times the whole anokha...thing was repeated...This man has a personal vendeta against JW...

I had a thought today...Could he be a friend of JW's who was also in love with Rakshanda? And her having chosen him, he left the scene...but now maybe Rakshanda is back with him..but in order to satisfy his ego he is out to destroy JW??? Just speculating here...

Again...he definitely said Bani is getting a new name, a new pehchaan...given by him...so yes she may not be back as Mrs. Walia...she may be back as mother to the children...but i think she will have too much crap fed to her against JW...

I think we all agree that AD is out to destroy JW. It seems like he is well informed of all the events and I would not be surprised if he knows all about Pia and the other two betrayers (Jigs and Karuna). He also seems to be in the hotel industry and will probably build up Bani to come back and destroy JW.

In today's episode he said he was a family man and lived with his family in UK. I am definitely looking forward to knowing his family. Maybe that will give us a clue of his enemity with JW....another Raaz in the making, perhaps?

I think AD will be a negative and positive character....positive - supporting Bani and negative - destroying JW.

The thing to watch will be whether JW's RB avatar will hold when he comes face-to-face with Bani's Ma Kali avatar (or whatever) after 5 years. Will he crumble at the sight of Bani or will he maintain his RB avatar? Will he know that AD is behind Bani's new avatar??

I guess we have to wait and watch what unfolds in the next few weeks.....

Btw, in the first scene between AD and Bani, did I see a picture of Pia flash in front of AD's eyes as he was looking at Bani? Or was I just hallucinating?
