What does 'Aparjit' mean?

Hey guys, after watching today's episode, Devu's name really caught my attention. His speech constantly emphasized the "Aparjit" part of his name. It seems more than just his identity... Anyone know it's meaning?😕

He does seem to remind me of AB's "Ek Ajnabee" 😳

Waise he may very well have not experienced defeat in any stride of life, but life is unpredictable... If he falls for Bani, that will be his biggest defeat right there. Because Bani belongs to Jai only... But I have a feeling, even if he doesn't fall for her... His first defeat is on the way.
