When will the destructives stop butchering munna just for over the top scenes. On his knees was so not needed. For some reason though I fell in love with him more and this is why.

The strong RB JW in the beginning was like that because he did not really care for anyone and so did not have any weakness. One was massi and for that he let himself be married to Bani and invited pushkar to his home after pushkar backstabbed him in the worst possible way. JW has always been shown as capable of doing anything for those he loves. Till now his "opponent" were bani and massi so he never had to loose his dignity.

He is always ready to fight and die for bani. stepping on the bomb, beating up the goons while sending her away. Today if he could give his life or take her place in the asylum he would have done that happily and that is not the case.

JW is always able to fight someone who inflicts injury from the front. Pia and co have planned this meticulosuly for a while.

1. all the circumstancial evidence planted points to Bani (in all the legal shows i have seen in people are inciminated on much less) she was the only one in the apt, fingerprints, her presense there, the vicitm saying that she has been following him around and is after his life. all these are pretty conclusive

2. pia has planned it well that rano and jai cannot tell bani the truth as pia has set it up that the disc will go to police and that will be the nail in bani's coffin

3. Adi also said that based on the circumstansial evidence no lawyer wants to take the case as it is an open and shut case and if the CD with the victims confession is added to it what chance does bani have.

4. granted we did not like to see him on his knees. But a man like JW is ready to do anything to save bani. he has really no options and to him if begging works that does not make him weak. I think the strongest person will beg if it means the life of the one they love.

5. Also Jai and Rano cannot tell te truth to Bani, because the whole crux of Pia's plan is for Bani to believe that JW is the mastermind behind this whole thing as he loves Pia and wants to be rid of Bai. That's why she sent JW dressed in burkha to the apts.

Pia has all the cards. She has made this massive attack from the back and there is no defense.

Now question becomes is it better to let one possibly die knowing that she was not betrayed or save them and destroy the person. That is a debate with merits on all sides. Jai chose to save her life and I feel I would have done the same for a loved one.

JW on friday was a helpless man whose one weakness bani is on the brink of possible death and the only thing saving her is his compliance to Pia's demands. He has one weakness, his love for Bani, and as Pia said she has that life in her hands. Hell she is threatening Bani's life if Jai or Rano makes her angry. She has planned the realease of the CD if she is harmed.

What would you have him do? be the arrogant JW and tell Pia to go to hell and write Bani's death sentence. Running away is not easy, most countries have extradition treaties and even the biggest dons are dragged back in cuffs.

Take away Pia's leverage of Bani's life and see what JW does to her.

just my 2 cents. I love a man who is ready to give up his self respect if it means the life of his love.

All said and done they did not have to show him on his knees for whatever shock value for the audience.

Meg good points! And we all know that Munna did it because he loves his wife the most! Our anger is with creatives for making this strong character go down on his knees infront of his r****t and not with Munna's love 😭

I understand his point and circumstances completely but I won't agree with some of them…Probably I would have done the same but I just don't agree that a man like JW is only capable of doing this and nothing more…That's all. If it was someone else, obviously my expectations would have not been high but here we are talking about JW.

My two cents Megs…

I respect your pov although mine differs so please indulge me for a moment. I thought the whole JW on his knees scene was typically Balaji...melodramatic and completely uncalled for!
Here's the reason why I have my knickers in a knot....why the heck couldn't Jai talk to Bani about this?? 😕 Why couldn't he tell her about what was going on? I've seen posts saying that he didn't have the time to do that, it was a hopeless legal case etc but how about telling her that?
Why put her through so much mental and physical trauma when she is pregnant and so vulnerable? Why take her children away from her so cruelly? To me that is indefensible...separating a mother from her children so heartlessly is inexcusable.
If this is what love is....destroying the very person you seek to protect, its not the sort of love I know and recognise.

Meghna, I agree with you. When I saw JW on his knees on Friday, I was not ashamed of him nor did I think he was debasing himself. I saw a man in love battling for the survival of his loved ones. Survival is a basic instinct, one which does not take into consideration money, power, stature or prestige. It is a throwback to our animal roots, an instinct that only understands the force of life.
The creatives would have us believe that he has no options at this point of time and in keeping with this Jai is grovelling for the life of his Bani. Yes, it was painful viewing but if anything it made me respect and love the character more especially when you compare him with his RB avtaar.

Makes me wonder Meena, if the JW fondly referred to as the Raging Bull ever existed of was he merely a facade behind which an insecure, confused and helpless man hid??
Isn't every married man or woman expected to fight for and protect his/her family at any cost anyways?
