Chapter 119WOW. I can't believe how far along you have come. Go Jaanu. 😃

"Anju…listen" Jai said frustrated. Why are you frustrated, you are the one with a big mouth. Running his hand through his hair, he knew he was in it for sure especially when it came to Anjali. She rarely ever got pissed off and when she did, it only meant trouble for the ones involved. He knew he had to talk to her and pacify her. He hadn't meant to make Anjali mad but he just didn't understand why she was defending Ronit. aww poor baby. There are other people in the world to jaan.

"Who the hell do you think you are?" Jai heard Ronit yelling at him as he ran his hands through his hair in frustration.well shoot the anger seems to be spreading quickly. Ronit didn't know what was going on and right now he was pissed off at this man for upsetting Anjali. He started walking towards Anjali's room when he heard a voice behind him.

"You need to stay out of this! This is between Anju and me. Don't you dare go anywhere near her." Jai yelled as he walked towards the room himself. Itna gussa not good for you my jaan. Calm down.

Bani was standing there speechless. She didn't know what to do. She needed this to stop. aww this must be hard for her. What do we do.

"Will you two please calm down? You two going at each other isn't helping anyone. Jai, what is wrong with you? You know better than to question Anjali, especially when she truly had no idea about all this."Yeah you tell him. You will get away with it.

"Bani…I didn't….you know I didn't mean to yell at her." Jai tried to justify.Keep trying jaan.

"I know you didn't mean but the truth is, you have upset and only you can fix this. So go on and talk to her. Rishab…please let Jai go in and pacify Anjali. He's the one who messed up and he will be the one to fix it." Bani smiled softly at them both and realized that Rishab had a confused look on his face. Better walk in carefully jaan. You don't know how hot the room is don't get burned.

Rishab just nodded his head and came back towards the couch and sat down. He still didn't know what was going on and why Jai was upset with Anjali. Where do I begin................

------------

Jai knocked on Anjali's door to see if she would open but when he heard no response, Do you really think she is going to run up to the door, HI Jai come insdie. lol..he turned the knob and found the door to be unlocked. lucky for you He slowly walked into the room to find Anjali sitting on her bed pissed off. He looked around the room to find it beautifully decorated. On the wall he found two photo collages. One was the collage of all the pictures from their college days with Adi, Tarun and Yukti. Pictures from their games, dances, library and in the cafeteria goofing around. Another collage was of pictures from the summer from the carnival, the dance at the Youth center and other adventures. He smiled at the memories. aww the good old days when we were all talking.

He slowly walked towards her and sat in front of her on his knees. Getting on your knees is a start. Keep going.

"I'm sorry Anju. I shouldn't have yelled like that. Pata nahi kya hua…I just lost my temper.Oh you think. Forgive me, please?" Jai said as he put his hands over her hands. She quickly moved her hands away from his.

She tried getting up from the bed to go towards her dresser but Jai caught her wrist and stopped her. That is it, stop her.

"Maine sorry bola na Anju. Come on yaar stop being childish." You just did not say that. As soon as he said it he regretted it. He knew calling her childish just got him in more trouble than before. Dimaga girvi rakha hua hai.

"Ohh I'm sorry for being childish. I'm sure you wouldn't want to be friends with childish people" Anjali said as he removed her hands from his and walked over to the dresser and started to fix it. Putting things back where they belonged. That is totally like something I would say.

"I'm sorry na baba. Kaha na I didn't meant to lose my temper. I just…as soon as I saw him walking out of the kitchen and then you defending him, I just lost it."just lost is yeah right, there is more there has to be more. lets hear it.

"You always lose it! Do you ever think before you speak? This isn't the first time you've reached to the conclusion without letting other people explain themselves." Just in case he forgot lets remind him again.

"Anju…" He tried to explain.

"No! Don't Anju me! Mar gayee hai Anju." oh no, itne harsh words. 😭

"Anju stop it. Maine sorry bola na. What do you want me to do? I couldn't help losing my temper when I heard you defending him. How was I supposed to react? You're my best friend, you've always stood by me no matter what and then now all of a sudden you chose to defend someone else over me. It just hurt."aww jaan. Need a new friend I am free lets see tomorrow.

"Ohh so you were jealous of the fact that I was defending Rishab? Do you honestly think that I would choose someone else over you? You're my best friend. Maybe my only friend in this world. Just because I was trying to explain to you doesn't mean I was not being your friend."I know Anju guys don't think. THey jump to conclusions.

"I know and I realize that now."A little late now.

"Yeah well it's a little too late now. That is what I just said. You never listen to me when I try to explain something to you. This isn't the first time you did this Jai. Even when it was about Bani, you would jump to the conclusion." Yep that is what I am talking about remind him. lol.

"I know and I'm trying to fix that right now. I know I hurt you and I seriously want to make it up to you. Can I do something to make it up to you?" He asked trying to pacify her. Keep trying, I am sure you could do better than just a sorry.

"You can leave me alone right now. I don't want to talk to you nor do I want anything with you right now. You've truly hurt me today Jai. I never thought you'd think that I'd lie to you about something so big." OH this is going to take time Jai. Better think of something quick. Anjali was still mad at him and wasn't going to forgive him that easily. He was used to her forgiving him all the time but this time there was no way he was going to get away with it.

Jai walked over to her and put his hands on her shoulder and tried to turn her around but she wouldn't budge. Instead she pushed him back and he fell back on her bed. Wow she can push if he fell on the bed.

--------------

In the living room, Bani and Rishab were just sitting there staring at the door to Anjali's room. Hoping to see it open anytime. I don't see it opening any time soon.

Rishab was losing his patience. He didn't know why it was taking so long for them to come out. He looked at Bani and saw how relaxed she seemed. She knows better.

"Do you think everything is ok in there? I mean, why are they taking so long to come out?" He said with a hint of jealousy in his voice. Don't worry Jaan. Everything is fine.

Bani chuckled and could understand why Rishab was feeling the way he was. He didn't know the depth of Anjali and Jai's relationship and anyone in his position would be jealous. He is insecure. How cute is that.

"Don't worry…if something major happens like a yelling session or a fight, you will hear it. Anjali and Jai are known to have big tempers."Don't scare the guy.

"Oh. So this happens often? I mean, they fight often?" Rishab askedThat is nothing yaar. Aghe dekho kya hota hai. I guess I better read quickly to so I can see what happens.

"They don't fight all the time but when they do, it's always major."Build it up and then explode.

"Oh"

Bani could tell Rishab wanted to ask her something but was hesitating. So to make him comfortable she decided to answer the question he was probably wanting to ask her. Yeah help the guy out, put him at an ease.

"Jai and Anjali are best of friends. They have great history with each other. They're extremely close to each other. Anyone in your position would probably feel the way your feeling right now." Bani tried explaining.

"You don't mind their close friendship?" Why would she.

"No because if it wasn't for Anjali, he and I wouldn't be together right now. She was the pushing force behind Jai and my relationship. She sure is. You have to know that no matter what happens, they both stand by each other. It's kind of hard to explain their relationship because many people would misunderstand their close friendship. They act like as if they're a couple but that's just the way these two are."If you stick around you will find out jaan.

Rishab just listened. He didn't know what to say. Sure, he'd seen many close friendships but Anjali and Jai's seemed to be different. yeah those two are odd.

"Don't worry. You will understand once you get to know them both better and are around them more." Bani smiled at him. I know jaan don't worry. Main hoon na...

"Yeah I guess." Rishab said smiling back at Bani. He liked Bani. She was quiet nice and she didn't seem like the one to have a temper like Jai did.

-------------

Jai got up from the bed and tried talking to her but she kept shutting him off. She knew he hated silent treatment and that's exactly what she was doing. She was giving him a silent treatment. The silent treatment is always the worst.

He went in front of her and held his hands to his ears and started to sing. He knew she would melt eventually and if it took him singing to her, then he would do it. This is going to be good.

Humse Rahoge kya hamesha khafa

Maaf bhi kardo jaana

Maan to li hai humne apni khata

Maaf bhi kardo jaana

Dekho ye gussa chhodo

Ab tum ye kissa chhodo

Dekho ye gussa chhodo

Ab tum ye kissa chhodo

Hum hain sharminda galti hogi na aindaa

Jaan this song is perfect.

Anjali ignored him and turned towards her bed and went to put stuff away in her draws.Still the gussa. Jai followed her and turned her around giving her his best smile but even that didn't work. She pushed him back and glared at her. Man she is a hard chick to impress.

"Come on jaan…aab mein kitni baar sorry kahoon? Abhi bhi nahi maaf karogi?" Jai asked as he leaned in front of her. Oh how sweet.

------------

In the living room, Rishab and Bani heard Jai singing. Rishab looked really confused while Bani started to laugh. I don't know what is more funny Rishab all confused or Jai trying to say sorry to Anju.

Rishab looked at her wondering why she was laughing.

"Anjali is a tough cookie and she's giving him hell right now so of course to pacify her, he's singing to her."Yes you would know wouldn't you.

"And it works?"I guess we will find out soon. Have patience.

"It's worked before on her and me but not sure if it's working now."Lets see how long it will take.

"These two really have a strange friendship"your telling me. Rishab said still trying to make sense of it all. He didn't know what he was feeling about everything that was going on. Pretty soon you will be just fine too.

Maan bhi jaao suno tumko kasam hai

Kaisi ye zidd hai kaisa sitamb hai

Milte ho jo kahin

Dekhte bhi nahin

Milte ho jo kahin

Aisa bhi roothna kya bhala

Dekho to ek nazar tum zara

Aisa bhi roothna kya bhala

Dekho to ek nazar tum zara

Jo tum pe marta hai uska hai ab haal kya

awww

Jai took her by her waist and started to spin her around. That might make her laugh.

"Put me down Jai. Jai stop it. Kya kar rahe ho?" Anjali said as she tried to get Jai to put her down. I think it is working. Keep it up /

"Not until you forgive me." Now that is a great idea.

Dekho ye gussa chhodo

Ab tum ye kissa chhodo

Dekho ye gussa chhodo

Ab tum ye kissa chhodo

Hum hain sharminda galti hogi na aindaa

Humse Rahoge kya hamesha khafa

Maaf bhi kardo jaana

"I promise…ainda aisa nahi hoga." He said as he finally put her down. She was still not budging. Oh come on now, please forgive my jaan yaar.

He picked up the framed picture of him and Anjali from her side table and smiled. He held the picture in his hand and put in on front of her as she tried to grab it from him.

Aise nikalo nahin tum humein dil se

Chaahne waale milte hain mushkil se

Socho zara meherbaan

Paaoge humsa kahan

Aise nikalo nahin tum humein dil se

Chaahne waale milte hain mushkil se

Socho zara meherbaan

Paaoge humsa kahan

Chhodo bhi tum ye naaraazgi

Aao bhi karlein hum dosti

Chhodo bhi tum ye naaraazgi

Aao bhi karlein hum dosti

Ab jaane bhi do ki jo bhi hua so hua

"Kahan milega koi mere jaisa?" Jai asked as he grinned.Nope you are one of a kind.

"Bohot miljayege. Tum uski koi fikar mat karo." haila that is not what you are suppose to say.

Smiling he walked in front of her and said "You sure? Mere jaise itna handsome aur stubborn best friend tumhe kahan se milega?" that was a good one.

"Like I said you don't worry about that. And who said anything about you being handsome? Ask me.😳Obviously that person needs to get their eyesight checked." I have great vision. She snapped back at him.

"Ouch Anju. You really know how to hurt a guys ego" He said with a mock-hurt look on his face. awww. You are very handsome jaan.

Dekho ye gussa chhodo

Ab tum ye kissa chhodo

Dekho ye gussa chhodo

Ab tum ye kissa chhodo

Standing in front of her, he took her hands in his and put them on his head.

Hum hain sharminda galti hogi na aindaa

"Aab maaf kardo na yaar. Kitna tadpaogi? I promise to never lose my temper" He said and then added "in front of you."Oh know, what is Bani next now. lol.

Humse Rahoge kya hamesha khafa

Maaf bhi kardo jaana

Dekho ye gussa chhodo

Ab tum ye kissa chhodo

Dekho ye gussa chhodo

Ab tum ye kissa chhodo

Hum hain sharminda galti hogi na aindaa

"Are you sure you're willing to stay clam and listen to what I have to say?" Anjali finally asked melting. Oh are we laying out the rules.

"I promise. Tum jo kahogi mein wohi karunga. Anything. I promise."can you make those same promises to me..

"Don't make promises that you can't keep."

"Have I ever made you a promise that I never kept, Anju?" He asked

"No but I still like you reassuring me."

"Does that mean you've forgiven me?" He asked hopeful.I think so, but lets find out.

"Yes." Before she knew what hit her, Jai was hugging her. Still in his arms, he pick her up and spun them both around.

"Jai, pagal ho gaye ho. Put me down"

"One condition." You to, what is up with the conditions.

"What?" She asked not sure what the condition would be.

"Promise me that no matter what happens, no one will come between our friendship. I know that I've always been very protective of you, especially around other guys but it's because…" come on lets finish the sentence.

"Because what?"

"Because I'm afraid that once your prince charming comes, you'll forget me and I'll lose my best friend. I am here if you need a friend.I value our friendship too much Anju and I don't want to lose you at any cost."

Anju had tears in her eyes as she looked at him. She always knew how protective he was and knew the reasons too but didn't really think he was jealous of the fact that another person could come between them.

She put her hands on his cheek and said "Jai, no matter what happens, there will always be Anju and Jai. Nothing and no one will ever come between us. You're my only best friend and I love you too much to put our friendship on line for anything. No matter who comes into our lives, nothing and no one will ever take away what you and I have."You are seriously going to make me cry... 😭

"Promise?" he asked as if a child was asking.

"Promise" Anjali said as she hugged him.

He kissed her forehead and wiped her tears away.

"Do you honestly think that if I had known that Rishab was your brother I would have kept that from you? Or from him?" The determined look on Anjalis' face gave way to a sly grin as she saw Jai recognized the truth of what she had said. "I trust you're ready to listen now and I think we have two very eager people waiting for us." one more eager than the other. 😆

"Yeah…let's go."

"Don't forget what I said Jai. You need to stay calm."write it down and have him sign just in case he forgets.

"I will. Now let's go before you kick me ass once again" They both laughed as Jai put his hands around her shoulders and walked out the room. I will protect it from her. (no comments Anam)

Chapter 120

As soon as the door to Anjali's room opened, Rishab and Bani stood up. Jai and Anjali walked out of her room smiling at each other with Jais's hands around her shoulder hugging her close.

Rishab quickly walked over to Anjali. "Anjali, are you ok?"

Anjali let go of Jai and hugged Rishab and told him she was fine. Rishab didn't look convinced as he was still trying to figure out what was going on between Jai and Anjali.

"I'm fine Rishab. I promise." Anjali said as she looked over at Jai and Bani. They were both smiling knowing that everything was fine between them.

"What is going on here?" Rishab asked. "Anjali, what's going on here? If you know something, please tell me."

Anjali turned back to face Rishab. She gently took Rishab's face in her hands and smiled. "Rishab" she whispered, "what's going on is we now know who you really are. We've found your family and Jai has found his brother. It's going to all work out great, I promise." She kissed his cheek gently and then turned to face Jai. Rishab stared after her with an incredulous look on his face.

"Now Jai, if I remember correctly, you always said that you wanted answers from your brother when you finally found him."

"Yeah, I did" Jai answered.

"Now's your chance to get some of those answers and if you play your cards right and stop going off half cocked, we believe that you will have the happy Walia family reunion that I know you really want. So do you think you are ready to just listen for a few minutes?"

Jai nodded and took another cleansing breath trying to contain his inner fury. He shifted his gaze from Anjali to Ronit and waited.

"Anjali, I'm still not quite sure I know what's going on here" Rishab said. "What's all this talk about brothers and why is everyone referring to me as Ronit?" Despite the memory flashes Rishab had moments earlier he still wanted a complete explanation.

"Rishab, I need you to trust me?" Anjali confidently stated.

"I do trust you Anjali" Rishab replied, his voice softening.

Anjali smiled at him and then turned back to Jai and Bani. "Jai, Bani" she began slowly. "Remember when I told you that Rishab and I were keeping secrets from each other?" Jai and Bani both nodded their heads. "Well, we both came clean earlier today at the hospital. Rishab's secret is that he has amnesia and can't remember anything about his past."

Jai looked at her somewhat surprised.

"When Rishab first told me about the amnesia, I was as surprised as you are now. And just for the record, I only figured out that Rishab was your brother when you popped that tape in the VCR a few minutes ago. And I did try to tell you as soon as I figured it out. "

Jai relaxed and Anjali could tell from the change in his body language that he was listening. Anjali walked back to Rishab and motioned for him to sit down. When he did, she sat next to him and held his hand as she quietly said, "now, I'm asking you to tell Jai and Bani what you told me earlier today, tell them what happened to you. "

Rishab glanced at Anjali, still unsure about everything, but when he saw the confident smile on her face, he knew she'd never steer him wrong.

"Like Anjali said" Rishab began cautiously, "I have amnesia. I guess I was about 16 or 17 years old when I found myself waking up at a mission in San Diego. A local fisherman found me nearly dead on the beach and brought me to the mission. They claim I was there for several days before I regained consciousness. I was pretty scared, I didn't know anyone and when they started asking me questions as to who I was and where I came from I didn't know what to answer. I couldn't remember anything."

"How awful for you" Bani said sympathetically. "I can't imagine what it would be like to lose your memory like that."

Rishab gave Bani a small smile. "It was pretty terrible" Rishab remembered. "After a few weeks of my not getting my memory back, I decided I needed to call myself something and for some reason the name Rishab Singhania popped into my head. I have no idea why I thought of that name."

"Well, if I remember correctly Walias and Singhanias are very close friends and used to be business partners years ago." Anjali pointed out with a sly grin.

"And your best friend's name was Rishab" Jai said without thinking. He glanced at Ronit who appeared surprised at Jais' comment.

"That's pretty much it" Rishab said, not ready to go into more details. "I've been Rishab Singhania ever since."

"So you never remembered anything from your past?" Jai asked.

"No, not really" Rishab replied. The tones of the two men were now much calmer, both trying to understand the other's position. "I've had flashes on and off for years, but none of them ever made any sense. The nuns at the mission filed a missing person's report for me, but nothing showed up."

"We filed a missing person's report" Jai said quietly. "We had to file a missing report for my brother few days after my parents were killed in an accident. It broke my heart to see my mausi hurting the way she did back then. It still does every time I see her light a candle for my parents…" Jai took a long look at Ronit and exhaled trying to regain his composure. At the moment his emotions were all over the place. "…and for you."

Rishab closed his eyes briefly, another brief memory flashing through his head.

Rishab opened his eyes and stared directly into Jais'. "Are you really my brother?" He whispered hopefully.

Jai nodded. "Yeah, I am."

"We were pretty close, weren't we?" Rishab asked. In his heart he knew they were. He could tell by the look of hurt and love in Jais' eyes. He also felt a tugging at his own heart that he'd never felt. It was a feeling he'd prayed he'd have someday, someday when he finally found his family.

"We were" Jai answered, his voice filled with emotion. "I was angry, Ronit. I was angry that you left our family and devastated, but I was also hurt that I lost my best friend." Tears blurred Jais' vision. "I'm sorry I thought the worst and I'm sorry you had to go through what you did."

"I'm sorry too Jai" Ronit said, his own eyes now misty. "I don't know what happened, but whatever it was I sure never meant for things to turn out like they did."

Jai held his brother's gaze for a long moment and before either knew what happened they each found themselves embracing the brother they hadn't seen in fifteen years.

Bani and Anjali stood by, tears of joy streaming down their faces. Bani was so overcome with emotion, she walked over to Anjali and hugged her as well. Anjali and Bani smiled blissfully as they wiped their tears away.

"Come on you two" Anjali called over to the reunited brothers. "We still have a pitcher of lemonade and a wonderfully prepared dinner, so I suggest we all sit down and enjoy.

Everyone was in agreement and the two couples descended upon Anjali's dining room to begin the Walia reunion.

----------------

"So tell me about our family Jai" Ronit asked with enthusiasm once they were seated at the table. "How many brothers and sisters do I have? Do you live alone or with the family?" The excitement was just starting to hit him. After all these years he was finally going to find out who he was and where he came from. He was tempted to just shoot questions at his brother one after the other, but decided he could restrain himself for now.

Jai laughed. "There are three of us," he said, "Two boys and one girl. You're the oldest and I'm right after you. Then there's Jigayasa, who was married and has two sons and a daughter. Ranveer, Sahil and Anu. In the house is our Billo mausi, me, Jigayasa, the kids and Aditya and Daadi."

"Billo Mausi. I remember her, I think. We used to always spend our holidays with her, right?"

"Yeah!" Jai said excitedly as he was happy to know that Ronit was remembering stuff.

"Aditya Bali?" Ronit asked, surprising not only himself but also Jai as to where that name came from.

"You remember him?"

"I don't know, when you said Aditya, it came to my mind."

"Yeah Aditya Bali. His parents and our parents were best of friends. You, him and I grew up together with Tarun Sablok. Adi married Jigayasa but they're now divorced but still live together for the sake of the kids. He and his mother, we call her daadi live with us too. So it's a full house."

"Wow!" Ronit whistled softly. "So many people in the same house. That truly sounds like a family I have always imagined always wanting and having. So I have nieces and nephews? How old are they?"

"Ranveer is the eldest and he's around 23. Sahil is the middle one and he's 21 and then comes the darling of our family, Anu. She's 20."

"Ohh wow…they're not little kids" Ronit said grinning.

"Wait until you meet them" Jai grinned. "Anu is so beautiful and she's such a dreamer. She's lots of fun to be around. Ranveer has grown up to be just like his father, very much involved in our business. He can be quiet serious at times, but also fun as well. And Sahil, he's a great athlete. You should have seen him at the annual Thanksgiving football game this year. He scored three touchdowns and the Mumbai Hellcats beat the Titans 31-20. I was so proud of him."

"I saw that game with Jai" Bani said, her eyes twinkling, "and Sahil did play a magnificent game but I found out that Jai holds the record for the most touchdowns at their annual game. He score five one year and Mumbai beat the Titans 48-3."

Jais' cheeks were flushed with embarrassment. He waved his hand in a dismissive fashion. "It was nothing really," he said modestly. "The Titans had an awful team that year. It was too easy."

"Five touchdowns is nothing to make light of" Ronit grinned. He was enjoying hearing about the accomplishments of his family enormously.

Jai suddenly perked up. "Ronit, you played that game one year! Wait, would you prefer I call you Rishab?"

"No way" Ronit said. "Ronit Walia is who I am. Rishab Singhania was just a made up name until I found out who I was. Maybe it was an omen that I lost all my ID in the fire." He smiled at Anjali, then at his brother.

"Now, tell me about my playing that game. I'm a big football fan, just ask Anjali." Rishab winked at Anjali who shook her head and laughed.

"You were the youngest player to make Varsity in the history of Mumbai High" Jai began animatedly. "Papa was so proud of you. He and I went to every one of your games. He even managed to drag ma along for the home games. She was so afraid you were going to get hurt she said 'hey baghwan' throughout the game."

Ronit swiped at his eyes as he felt the moisture build in them again. "I guess our mother wasn't a football fan" he laughed through his tears. Anjali smiled at him and placed her hand in his for support. She knew Rishab was going to be feeling all sorts of different emotions and wanted to let him know she'd be there for him.

"Not really" Jai chuckled. "Anyway, it was the closest game the two teams had played in years. Mumbai was behind by three in the final minute and the Titans had the ball. You intercepted a pass and ran thirty yards scoring the winning touchdown. Even ma was on her feet cheering with the rest of the Mumbai fans. It was a great game."

"Wow" Ronit said choked up. "I wish I could remember."

"You know, even though ma wasn't a football fan doesn't mean she doesn't like any sports. She's a big cricket fan. She always tried to make all of our games when she wasn't working. "

"Jai, tell me something, how old am I anyway? When's my birthday?"

"That's easy. You're two years older than I am. You're birthday is December 27th and right now you're 30" Jai answered.

Ronit nodded. "Well, I guessed the age right anyway. December 27th, huh? I guess that's coming up too soon." He smiled at Anjali who gazed adoringly at him.

Dinner continued and for hours Ronit grilled Jai on his family while Jai wanted to be filled in on what his brother had done with his life. Anjali had already told Jai bits and pieces, but somehow it all seemed different now, knowing that the love of her life was his brother.

Jai filled Ronit in on their parents' death and his vow to one day find the killer. He was more confident that ever that one day he would locate Uday and Krishna Walia's killer. Now that he'd found his brother he was certain that finding the culprit behind their parents' death was only a matter of time.

The group returned to the living room after dinner was finished. Jai was impressed that his brother's cooking was every bit as good as their mausi's and reminded him of the hours the two boys had spent with Mausi.

"Mausi used to tease you that one day you'd open a restaurant. She was amazed at how quickly you picked up on everything and what a good head you had for business" Jai grinned.

"Well, Mausi was half right" Anjali smiled. "Ronit did open his own business."

"She's really going to be proud of what you've done with your life, Ronit" Jai said with pride. "Heck, I'm proud of you. Despite everything you went through you managed not only to get your degree, but a Master's degree as well. "

Ronit chucked, slightly embarrassed. "All I had to do was take care of myself" he remarked. "What you did, staying at home and helping raise our younger sister takes a lot more courage than what I did."

Jai glanced at his watch and then looked over at his brother. "I need to call mausi" Jai finally said. "I promised her I'd call her tonight no matter how late it was and let her know Bani and I made it and are all right. Abhi wahan subha ke 8 baje hain…I should call her now. Are you up to talking to her?"

Rishab's eyes widened. His heart began pounding and his palms were sweaty. He glanced over at Anjali who gave him an encouraging nod and he turned back to Jai. "I'd like that" he whispered.

To be continued…

Hey!!

Long time no see! Totally understand though, I have been bogged down by work recently as well, totally glad I get at least a little break from it. (Well, after two weeks, I will get a big time off). Good luck on your finals!!

Anyways, that update was awesome! Finally, we get to see the reunion! That was really sad, just imagining forgetting your entire past!

I love Anjali and how she can get these two men to calm down!

Anyways, continue soon! Can't wait!

Hey Anam,

That was beautiful, finally Jai and Rishab meet! And we come to know how he got the name, so I didn't know you were Ad-Bhoot's fan!! LOL!

Anyways, the meeting / reunion was handled with great care and love, absolutely felt the emotions that gripped all the parties involved.

His birthday is coming up soon, isn't the wedding coming up soon too? So Rishab was a football player, I know why the parents worry about their kids playing football...been there!

Lovely writing hon!!
