KS Updates

Hello people,

There is a small issue that has been moving around since the past few days. We all know that our forum is the the pioneer of live updates. It is a privelege to have such timely updates. But I think people have mistaken it to be a compulsion for updaters. There are many members who complain that the updates are not timely if the update is posted by 10 pm IST. Is half an hour such a long wait???

I guess the answer would probably be a YES, knowing the enthusiasm we have for KS. But please, let us not forget that the person writing an update (a coolbie or another member) can have problems.

Not all of us are very fast at typing. Some of us do not have our computers and our television sets in the same room. Then there is the problem of electricity in India that most of you would be aware of. And if its not too much to ask for, the person writing the update would like to enjoy the show too.

We have had live updates in the past, but now a few things have changed. Most of us are much busy than we were earlier.

I request all the members to understand our position and not ask for live updates. If an updater is able to provide it fair enough, but please do not make posts about it or pressurise the moderators/viewbies about it.

Even for the update to be posted, please give us some time. We always have updates put up as soon as possible. Hence, it is a request to all the members not to take out any such post, asking for the update or trouble the moderators/viewbies about it.The KS development team will try its best to provide timely updates. But little delay has to be accepted, since we do need the time to write it. We as a forum can surely be generous enough to understand this.

The KS development team is trying to draft an update schedule and any progress on that account will be intimated.

I request members who would be willing to do the updates, to come forward and help us out too. We would like to have as many people as we can, to help us.

Any member found voilating the rules set by the moderators, will be issued a warning. So please, no more posts demanding updates and no more trouble for our moderators and viwebies.

Guys, I understand that you want the updates ASAP but just be considerate towards the updaters who take their time out especially for you to write what they have already seen. So just be patient when updates are not up. As the dev. team, we have all discussed this issue and think this post should help in order for members to understand that updates maybe late.

i totally agree with you pooja...yes it is very nice to have the updates ASAP...and we get that 90% of the time...sometimes it is late but thats ok...who ever is updating is doing all of u a favor so i really appreciate it...life happens in between KS...so we have to deal with that...that there are so many other things to do while waiting for the update...read a ff...so many great writers out there...again...i really appreciate the updaters...i commend them all for a job very well done... 👏 ...
