Observations on 3/16

The first epi in two weeks that I watched uninterrupted and more or less met my expectations.

Bani-Karuna: Our Amma hasn't got her relationships right yet. Karuna should be Karuna didi not Aunty. Wonder Karuna does not get irritated, knowing how much sensitive ladies can be age/relationships. Karuna is a lovely lady and I simply love her for the way she stood up for Munna during his darkest days. But obviously she is not great judge of either men or matrimony going by her own experience/choice of hubby or her enthusiasm for a damaad who is double her daughter's age. And a certified backstabber and a complete loser as well (as a lawyer at least). Karuna was very effusive in her praise of Bani as a wife and JW's luck as a hubby. Wish Amma had put in a few words in Munna's praise too. He is not ordinary man either. It takes some patience and forbearance to put up with a wife whose hobbies include banigiri, jasoosi, babysitting and bhoot worshipping. Also get a nasty feeling that the Karuna-Bani tie up does not bode well for Munna in the looming crisis. Should he be put behind bars for Sahil's murder, even Karuna may not be around to support him. This is of course assuming that like Rano, Bani too will jump to the conclusion that JW is the murderer.

Bani- Tarun: How can a person be in love and covet a woman who is his so-called best friend's wife. But I guess we are talking about a skunk, right? TS remarks to himself that he can give up his life for Bani. Reminded me of Byron's comment "It is easier to die for a woman you love than live with her". Should by some ill-luck TS end up with Bani he will find out how right Byron could be in some cases. And that is the real greatness of Munna, putting up with Bani without straying (except when plied with some chemicals).

Another popular saying that came to my mind was "apna ghar to basa nahin, doosron ka ghar basane chale hain". Her own marriage is far from secure, some j-d-d moments notwithstanding, she is about to fix Laxmi's marriage. And that too, with a man who she knows is in love with another woman, in fact unethical enuff to be in love with another man's wife. And of course TS is ready to marry a woman he is not in love with for the sake of the woman he loves. Ram milaye jodi, ek kaana, ek khodi. Will Bani be ever able to defend herself with Laxmi's family if the marriage failed and it was revealed that she had always known that he was in love with someone else.

Coming to Bani's comments on her own marriage, the main thing that struck me was "We met, we separated, then he betrayed me". Of course, she conveniently overlooked the reason behind the separation- her father's perfidy and her own pigheadedness, jasoosi, banigiri, bhoot worshipping and babysitting etc. And how does getting raped equate betraying someone. But then if u r a Dixit, you are allowed to see the world upside down I suppose.

J-B of course had a lovely scene but obviously as the last scene suggests there is a hurricane brewing outside and it will require extreme amounts of loyalty, devotion and faith for both J-B, particularly Bani, who has often been found wanting, for our beloved couple to see through the storm. Wouldn't be surprised if ACP Mathur carts JW off to prison from the party itself.

Meanwhile, Sanyaasiji is enjoying the fruits of bigamy and they seem to be no less bitter than those for his pujya mamaji.

seriously i felt like that skunk and bani shld open a detective agency and what is the problem with skunk that he is calling her at night time to tell that they have found some evidence, he may have called in the morning, kuch ghante baat na karta toh mar to na jata. i know now our jasoos bani will be going for her jasoosi expedition rather than party and jw will be hurt. and how duffer bani is that she has not realized that woman tarun was talking was none other than herself only, i don't know what exact words he told her but will just see that part and then comment about that and then make my assumption whether bani is blind or not. 😉

***I seriously dont understand why Bani calls her Aunty 😡 ! Can someone pls explain to Ekta not to make joke out of relationships 😡 ! It really sounds so funny when Bani calls Karuna Aunty (it sounds like a kid talking) 😡 And Karuna has praised Jai and she knows that Jai is also very good and she has mentioned it to Jai! I think she knew what to be told at that time so praised only Bani! Choice of Tarun 🤢 , I think Karuna only believes that if u love someone just go and get married, dont think about the consequences, compatibility, age anything! This is what she did and she didnt learn any lesson, so what can we expect from her 😡

***His love wouldnt hv been wrong if he behaved like a friend first! They could hv made Tarun's character more positive if creatives had bothered to excel Tarun as a friend and still in love with Bani! The dialogues were good though, when Tarun said to Bani that JW has given only Pain to her, then she defended that he is been supportive too and the person who gives pain also loves a lot! Thank god! But this person had witnessed JW's pain during divorce fiasco, but still he talks this nonsense 😡 ! I always thought that this character could hv been better he had gone back to JW and apologised when he came to know about ONS reality!

Aww.....so true , calling Jigs aunty I can guess because Adi was there uncle, but Karuna????? 😕From where is she your aunty??? And yes the dialogue writer, or the creative 😡should have givien Bani Rani, dialogues in praise of Jai too.😃

And what can one say about Tarun, he wasn't a good friend to Jai and isn't one to Bani as well, lusting after her when she considers him a friend. 😡

And how can he be anything other then a Skunk, as he keps calling her at all odd hours with some problem or an other, if he loves her and knows she loves her hubby dear only and is carrying his child then wouldn't it be more prudent to handle all the problems himself, but then if he did he wouldn't be a skunk, now would he.😡

And loving someone is not a crime, butloving and lusting afdter a woman who is your best frineds wife and only loves hubby dear is really bad.

Poor Laxmi couldn't that girl fall in love with Nattu darling, he's handsome, cute, and not twice her age or her mother s age thats for sure.

And yes like you hated the dailogues given to Bani dear, it seems like the creative dialogue writer has no go dialogue for Bani at all. 😡

First she ignores that Tarun said he loves a married woman and she goes on to say , does she know you love her.....Woman😡...shes married does she need to know???😡

The saying Jai betrayed her????😕 When dear????😡 It was your sister who raped him!!!!! 😡He did not betray you at all !!! The creatives and dialogue writer should get their facts straight.😡

Aww.......after so long such lovey dovey😳😛 😉scenes between our favourite pair and so romantic😳.

I just hope Bani dear rejects Skunk dear and goes to the party with him instead to meet T, but being an Ekta drama, and her being a Dixit, she definitley will ditch hubby dear by telling a lie again.

Lets see what Monday has in store for us.😃

As long as bani calls herself Mrs.Walia i hav no probs with her getting her other relations right or wrong!!! As long as she holds on that JW is her husband..I just hate her when she tells JW that she and her child doesnt need him,they are happy with eachother and will take care of each other.. 😡

Yest bani too annoyed me...i mean she was kool with tarun being in love with somebody and was more bothered that the women doesnt know abt his feelings..yaar that lady is married??? leave it sense and sensibility from dixits should never be asked for..when karuna was prasing bani abt being intelligent and sensible i was laughing,bechari she has no clue abt bani's obsessions like jasoosi....she should be thankful lakshmi is normal.
Tarun i hav no words,he is plain black and tainted soul...I so hated him for checking out on bani in the party and referring to her as a painting,and yest he agreed to marry Lakshmi for bani's sake ..what is he trying to prove from this??? to please her he will marry lacho and after that??? 😡.
Coming to bani's monologue we got married&seperated(courtesy DIXITS folly) ,he betrayed(pia's brain child) and we got back again(thanks to karuna).

Well I actually have problems with the entire serial, so I wouldnt be complacent about other characters you see. Thank your stars that JW gets the most thought of dialogues from the no-brainers, otherwise it would have been good to see the cringings too.

Here you got it wrong. The lady knowing about TS's feeling would help TS decide and she asked only once.

I was too thinking on the same point that why on earth did she said to T that J betrayed her.Well I guess you are right where a Dixit is involved, the world can be turned upside down for them.All the major problems that he faced in his life are courtesy of the great Dixit's yet being apologetic about her family's antics, she chooses to ignore their contribution in ruining his life but keep notes of what he did to her and that too regardless of the circumstances under which everything happened

I just fail to understand why the entire onus of failures and faults of this relationship are being entirely put on Jai, why he has to take up all the initiation to make this marriage work?.I am saying that she can take things just the way they are, she being a woman cannot ignore the fact that her sister is carrying her husband's baby, no matter under what circumstances it was conceived but she has to accept this fact fast enough that Jai was innocent and that he wanted his marriage to work with Bani and now it is her turn to give him all the love that he desreves. If she once took up the hatred of the entire family to save his wealth than he too did the same for saving something more precoius to him, Bani's life. I have not seen Bani doing anything for Jai till now that works up in this relationship as his wife.

Bani is definitely not going to trust Jai cause at the end , from Bani's POV it is DiXit who has been hurt it was Rano's husband who has been murdered, and not JW's nephew whom he brought up like his own son so obviously he will be blamed.

Really so you dont think she has decided to move ahead of the situation? Its strange cos going by what has bee shown, JnB had been shown to be more or less togetehr once Karuna spilled the beans about Pia. And why does it always have to be Jai? Till that moment, neither Jai nor Bani knew about Pia's involvement in that incident, in fact only Karuna knew about it.
