i am not here to criticise prachi or any one here... one member had told a opinion here... any one can debate here on that or tell your opinion... but is it fair to ask the person to shut up or think before posting here or something like that... do you think everyone should please you with words... above all negative criticism are a constant companion of all good artists... they learn from them... the fatty comments about ram, see the ks team itself had given an hint that he is trying to reduce it... so the negative comment did a good job or bad job... i am not telling prachi is a bad actor... i am telling about the rude reactions towards the member... we should show our maturity... if you think the opinion is bad then you can state yours... not in a way telling the person to shut up... the member has right to tell the opinion... i expect members in ks forum are little more soft and matured... we are living in a democratic world... be it like that please... no one has to do research in this forum about who the members are here, how they will behave etc... why should they learn about the members... members should obey the rules of the forum... that is for the well being for the whole ks forum... but members demanding to shut up unless it is kind of rude one is inapropriate... no offense to anyone..

than any other forums there is more a close knitting community still happily make it a second home... as everyone welcomed us i think we should have a open mind... say your opinion than attack on the member pls

Prachi Desai is only an 18 yr. old girl. The role she is playing is of an
older mother like -
sister, wife, and a would be mother. She is playing someone entirely
different than herself. And for an actor to portray a character that is
completely the opposite of who he/she is and on top of it to make the
character as believable, alive and real as she has made Bani, then
that's pure, unadulterated talent. And talent is god's gift. This girl is
mindblowing in what she has been able to achieve with her performance
as Bani Walia.
(And yes, she does have ways to go but she is already far ahead in the
game - she has talent and the rest will come with experience.)

Bravo, Ms. Prachi Desai, you keep it up, Girl!

To each their own! Similarly, it is my personal opinion that the character of Bani is what it is because of Prachi's portrayal (though many times, she has credited the success of the character to others). Whether one agrees or disagrees with the actions of the character of Bani, one cannot deny that the actress has infused life into the character and that alone speaks of one's talent and/or ability!

Inspite and despite her age (which could have hindered her ability to portray certain emotions and roles understandably), she has managed to smoothly play a "bahu," a wife to a much elder man, and a "mother-like" figure. Moreover, I was dumbfounded by PD's portrayal of Bani's emotions during the ONS revealation which I found extraordinary and incredulous for a mere 18 year old to understand such complex emotions.

In short, age and inexperience apart, on a stand alone basis , her performance is top-notch and is indeed one of the highlights of KS. She definetly has the potential to go much further (touchwood).

Also one thing i'd like to mention is please do not compare to different actresses from two different shows with one another. Its wrong...nobody is perfect neither is Rajshri's acting nor Prachi's they are learning each day.

Prachi is a 18 year old, you cant compare her acting with someone who is not the same age as her... because that would be biased, as with age your experience also increases😛

I will agree with you on this Yuvika. Acting is a learnign process and nobody can come and say that I am fully educated in the aegis of acting.

Its ok if we like somebody's actign better than the other, but its not correct to compare them either. truth be told, I find Rajashri perfectly palstic in a few scenes, but then, unlike you, I am not a connoisseur of acting.

Careful ..😆 Inspite of all I so agree with you I would never watch KS if there was No RK with PD .. But if PD does any day happen to be in another soap i wouldnt watch it ..Unless Ronit Roy or some other actor i like is acting with her . lets see how her performance improves in the future . why go far ..she should look at her personal fav ..kashish-Aamna sharif ( KTH ) if not smriti and Sakshi .

I wholeheartedly disagree with you. It's perfectly normal to like someone else's acting more than another and it's also perfectly normal to not like someone else's acting. For example, I have my reasons for not thinking much of Saloni's acting (even "Tulsi" for that matter) but will not go into that right now as it's unnecessary. I would just like to say that I think that Prachi has done full justice to Bani and I applaud her efforts.

I think its very unfair when people keep on saying that PD's popularity is only due to the fact that she has RK as a co-star.
I find her to be a very natural actress. To me Bani is an endearing character because of the manner in which PD underplays it without any over the top melodrama. And I have found her so since the very first day of KS when she was not even paired opposite RK. Ofcourse she shares an amazing chemistry with RK and I am sure has learnt a lot from him as he is a seasoned and good actor(for which she never fails to give credit to him).But credit of the success of the J-B jodi is in equal measure for both of them.
Every actor becomes better with experience and she is still young and is learning. Her scenes post ONS revelation were amazing and most them were not with RK.
Acting is a subjective medium and everyone has their choices. Personally I find Prachi to be a much better actress than Rajshri
