The way Bani remembered the quotes and her fetish for books tells a lot about her personality👏 - I also loved the fact that you kept the original Bani somewhere alive in BD - Family comes first!😛

The fetish for the books and horses is me coming through Bani's personality! Although I had a much privileged, sheltered and loved childhood and didn't have to go through what Bani had to at such a young age!!

Yes, it is - I wanted a semblance of the real KS in the story, so I tried to stick to original characters and at least some incidents...

Yep, Cobra Chopra is out of his life! Yeah, he chucked her out!!

So now we have a 7 year leap!😃

Hmm, lots can happen in 7 years time, 29 to 19 (year 1998)

Needless to say, I loved the update. I absolutely love the "weird" relationship they both share. the fact that he looked after "him" not knowing that this was the girl he was at one point going to fall in love with (yes i'm getting ahead of myself and I have no problem with that cuz I KNOW its going to happen lol!)

They share a weird, affectionate relationship that has respect and admiration for each other!! I wonder how the transformation happens in the future!! 😉😉😉

Did I tell you I love Bani? (I think everyone knows about my obbession with Bani) 😆 But the fact that she doesn't care about racing even though Jai is willing to finance her for the next six years (it was six right?) and she still chooses her family in their time of need, my respect for this girl just trippled! 😳

You didn't, yet - but thanks for telling me!! Bani in this story is a little bit of me, books, horses, love for the family....I love Bani in KS too, I think she has spunk!!

So, you are a book lover too...I read all of them, you should see the movie, Seabiscuit, if you haven't already. Great book and a movie. When I was about 15, I used to go to my uncle's house and raid his library during the summer months, he had all the classics, and then my dad was into hunting, so read all the Jim Corbette's books - now I have a library and two young kids who love books as much as I do!! So it's overflowing, I may have to build an extension just for my books!!

And must say, Jai is such a sweetheart to even think of supporting her for the race. My hero absolutely. 😳 SIGH!
