Hi everyone
I just hope the wait was worth while. It tends to a little boring but I will try to make it up in future.
Chapter 20
Sia had now settled very well with the family. Jai also felt that now his family was complete but still in the back of his mind Pia's fear was there but he never showed it. Bani's pregnancy was advancing and so were her tantrums. She would just drive everyone to their limits Even Trish and Kish sometimes got fired by her unnecessarily. Only Sia and Bani seemed to be doing very well. Jai was always caught in-between the kids and Bani and he had to make choices to please everyone.
Just like the other night the kids wanted to go out for hamburgers while Bani wanted to go for Pizza.
Trish: Dad you promised last time when we had gone out for donuts instead of the ice creams we wanted we could choose the place for our next eating out.
Kish: Why do you always listen only to mum? She is a big girl she can take care of herself.
Trish: Now stop being a baby brother. Big sis (Sia) comes on tell us what you would like to have. Majority wins. Is it fine mum?
Bani: Alright She was so confident that Jai knew that very instant the choice would be in her favor and his vote would be the deciding factor were they will go.
Sia: I would like a veg. Pizza rather then have burgers. But I like the milk shake you get there.
Trish then it's settled the burger place.
Bani: what am I supposed to eat then?
Jai: Fine stop fighting all of you First we will go to the burger place pick up your kiddy meals and the milk shake and I feel Bani can have a milk shake it's healthy for the baby. What say Bani the milk shake for the baby and the pizza later for the mum. Then we can go out for pizza and we will have it in the park say what.
Bani: Jai I can't walk all the way in the park you know Trish and Kish would want to go on every rides.
Jai: You can sit on one of the park benches and enjoy seeing me becoming a kid. More over the fresh air is good for you. Remember what the doctor said. Now Bani didn't have a choice but to agree to it as the children were so excited over the whole thing. Seeing everyone's excitement Bani agrees though she made a face over it But Jai promises he will make the trip worth while.
True to his word he had got Rano and Rashi to come to the park over the phone.
Over the phone
Rashi: Hey boyfriend what's up looks like your darling Bani is again giving you a hard time. Why don't you just come over here and I would make it worth while for you. I have got a nice wine in the chiller your favorite and ….Jai doesn't let Rashi complete her statement as he knew Bani was listening to all this he didn't want to get involved with Bani in another of her tantrums over this
Jai: Please I just want you to come to the park and I have a special treat for both my two lovely girls.
Bani: Stop flirting with other women at least in front of your wife. More over it creates a complex for me in my current state.
Jai: Covering the mouth piece, I don't think you have any complex on that regard in fact you love the fact that you have got the catch of the century by getting Jai Walia as your husband. Moreover no one can measure up to me in your life. so sweetheart I can do all the flirting I want.
Bani: I never knew that I was feeding into that already big ego of yours. Jai better mend your ways or you are heading for a big trouble.
Jai: Relax and don't you want to see what I have planned out for you today evening.
Bani: well I always like your surprises so I guess if you can get that two friends of mine to take care of our notorious lot who am I to complain. As long as that flirting of yours don't give them strange ideas.
Jai: Ideas please that Rashi she flirts with anyone of the opposite sex and Rano if she could just come down to the level of mere mortals then may be she could find someone to take her around.
Bani: don't let them hear you.
Finally Jai bribes Rano and Rashi into the park by promising them a holiday in their beach condo with all the frills.
While Bani and Jai slowly took a walk down the park and he fed her some lovely cotton candies while Jai fed the swans some bread crumbs. On the farther end of the park they had a spot were they could go for a boat ride and he took her for it. It was almost dark now and Jai had moved Bani towards the end of the park were he had planned for the surprise. He just held Bani in his arms and whispered into her ears on the count of ten I would like you to look into the sky and see all the colours of rainbow. Just like he said On the count of ten Bani saw the sky lighting up in different colours followed by ballons in various colours all in the shape of a heart.
Jai: You are the one who has brought the color into my dark world and I want to experience all these colours of life with you for the rest of my life so say what ready to go and meet the rest of the jing bang we have left.
Bani: God Jai it was such a romantic thing love you for it hugs him and begins to kiss him
Jai: You keep this up then we will never make it. So come on now so a bungee car comes to take them to the other end of the car were Rashi, Rano and the kids are waiting for them.
As days go by it was Jai's daily job in the office and at home to act like a buffer between Bani and all the people she interacted with.
Bani was frequently not keeping well. Today in office as she was sitting through her financial briefing she started to feel sick and she had to ask Rano to take over the meeting.
Bani was refusing to have lunch with Rano as she was still feeling a bit queasy and giddy. She was having a major show down with Rano. She was also not pleased with the way the morning meeting had concluded. At that very moment Jai steps in with her food tray.
Jai: Bani darling I heard you were not keeping well again this morning. Would you like to see the doctor.
Bani: She was literally in a foul mood as she couldn't concentrate over her work and all the frustration and anger she had she just spat out at Jai .
As though the doctor can do something about it. You are solely responsible for my state.
Jai: fine he comes closer to her by putting the tray aside but darling it's all going to be fine.
Bani: what is going to be so fine God if I see food anymore Jai I am just going to puke all over and you don't have to tell me everything will be fine I know that it would be fine in another four months but by then I wouldn't survive. God why can't you just try getting the men pregnant for a change. Then they would know with what we have to put up.
Rano was now literally pissed off with Bani's attitude and she could never understand how come Jai put up with all this.
Rano: Are you through Bani then I have got news for you. It's not Jai's sole responsibility that you got pregnant it takes two to tango. More over with the way Jai has been putting up with you I think he deserves a medal. So just come down that high horse of your Bani and start have feeling for others also to appreciate others efforts and she storms out of the room.
Bani was shocked by Rano's reaction and she was in the verge of tears when Jai just swept her into his arms you know Rano didn't mean all what she said its just that you have been chewing her brains this whole week over the financial issues. So just give her a break.
Bani: Is it true what she said just now am I that bad Jai. I know I can be a cold b****h at times but I love you and the kids and Rano is my best friend from school days how could she just say that to me. More over what do I pay her that six figure salary for and not to mention the perks of your bribes.
Jai: come here darling, his command was soft but held promises that he could wipe away all her fears and make her secure.
Bani hadn't anticipated this slow watchfulness on his part now his eyes brimming with heat he seemed to be carefully controlled.
Jai just trapped her fingers and dragged her closer tugging her towards his lap and fell on to the couch in the office rest area.
Jai: now I can get a better look at you.
Bani found herself leaning, reaching stretching across his chest as he wrapped his arms around her until she was half sprawled over his laps. She didn't need on to hold to him since he held her right where he wanted her. Still she found her hands seeking his shoulders, her fingers gliding along his shirt to the corded strength of his neck. Jai's soft caress distracted her robbing her focus as she was now tracing her fingers into the dark hair along his temple and the ache for him growing sharper.
Jai was creating magic with his fingers and slowly Bani was forgetting all her insecurities and tensions of the day only Jai could bring about this effect on her. He had now reached into the v of her shirt and using the tips of three fingers to stroke down the centre of her chest he slowly started kissing her what ever little presence of mind Bani had now was almost gone. He covered her hand with his and slid down to his lips, planting a kiss inside her palm, He flicked his tongue over her skin before lowering her hand. In a sudden swift motion his mouth found hers his kiss came with the right pressure, his lips demanding response. He had now flicked the jacket off her shoulders and opened out the top buttons of her shirt to expose her B**.
Jai: I want to feast on you like there is no tomorrow. He nipped at her bare shoulders teeth grazing her skin raising goose bumps. The mellowing sounds of pleasure she made in her throat had him forgetting all about his noble intentions. Lifting her in his arms he laid her out on the leather couch. Her hair had sprung lose from her knot providing a silky blanket for her bare skin every inch of her skin flushed pink and he was watching her with those mesmerising eyes in which she could get lost for ever. Bending to kiss the salty skin of her shoulder she cupped his jaw tipping his head down to hers for a kiss. He tasted her with a thoroughness, he cupped her B***** in his palm, lifting her towards his mouth as he bent closer. She arched into his kiss her skin sweet against his tongue when suddenly they were interrupted by a noise.
Rano had just stepped into the office to pick up the file she had left and she was thoroughly embarrassed at walking upon on to them in such an intimate way. True she had seen them kissing at times but not like this were Bani was half naked and in Jai's arms and Jai too had his jacket off with his entire shirt buttons opened out. Some how Bani was trying to cover her up with the shirt but Jai seemed to be relaxed and was questioning Rano. He didn't even bother to cover him up but just put his head up and said
Jai: Rano Have you ever heard the words knock before you enter.
Rano: How am I supposed to know that you both would be living out your fantasies in the middle of the day that to in the office. No wonder Bani you are in this situation if you both can't keep your hands to yourself this is the way you are going to end up. Then you sit and cry out
Jai: now he was really getting irritated, Rano I didn't ask for a lecture.
Rano: who am I to lecture you both you both seem to get along very well and in fact there rest of us look like fools all the time so carry on with what ever I just came to get the file and next time please do lock the door it would be really embarrassing g for the both of you two incase it was someone else had just walked in. You can thank god it was just me.
Bani was now literally embarrassed
But Jai was having a mind of his own. I don't understand why she has to walk in always at the wrong time and pass comments.
Bani: well looks like you have to thank her that she just walked in now or god only knows
Jai: Hey come on she isn't that innocent not to know what we do behind close doors. Leaning forward to kiss her.
Bani: Jai stop this we are in the office and incase you failed to notice I am famished as what ever I had for breakfast is now down the drain and the food seems to be more appealing.
Jai: spoil sport anyways your wish is my command. Also I never you had a problem with me kissing you in the office.
Bani: Jai if you are referring to what just happened here as kissing then I think you need your brains examined and why is it that men love to talk about it.
Jai: Why is it that woman try to be shy about it how ever modern she might me?
Bani: I am in no mood now to talk about all that. where is that food tray. And she was going for it when Jai just pulled her on to his lap for a good kiss and took the tray with the other hand while he held on to her in his lap. He could feel the movement of the baby and Bani was like ouch.
Jai: Looks like someone else is getting impatient with me so better start feeding you some food for real.
Now days she preferred to have rare combinations like today she started off with a grilled chicken sandwich and Greek salad but for a drink she was having an extra sweetened strawberry milk shake along with it. She also had a custard pie as desert. Jai never commented on it as long as something.
Bani: this is lovely you should have shown me the tray as you entered.
Jai: If I remember correctly at that point of time you were almost ready to eat me up alive so what are your plans for the evening.
Bani: I'm not that bad and today I think I will spent some time with the kids.
Jai: Bani going into a home maker mode what's happening, did I miss something.
Bani: I was thinking of going out with the kids to the movies for a change
Jai: I never knew you watched those crazy kids movie.
Bani: why is that you never approve my choice of movies. Moreover I'm going to watch with the kids so that my baby can enjoy.
Jai: What? He was tired of Bani's ramblings lately so he just didn't question her just sat along with her and had lunch. But he just stuck to the salad and the sandwich.
