Two open FFs?

Hey Mods,

You are trying to keep the forum more organized and easier to read - that's great and we appreciate that...but can't the number of open FFs per writer be two? It may be easier for the writer - when he/ she is stuck at a point in one ff, they can work on another one, and hey, as a reader, I would love that. More ffs to read.

Any one else feel that way?

even i agree atleast it shd be two.pls i hope she hears our request.because one is stuck we can go for another.if many requests i hope mods may consider...

As much as I see where you are coming from.

I understand the mods, this forum needs to be more neat, I also have 2 FFs. I also think that so many FFs are being opened and not continued, I have done that also. So I think they are trying to stop that. Once one FF is done, Im sure they will let you open another one.

That way, were all happy, and ofcourse you will get you update your ONE FF alot more, and with lots more thought.Thats just what I think! I believe I have read both Davia's and your FF, they are really good maybe, if one of yours closes then us readers will get longer updates 😳

I agree........as few writers leave their ffs open and never finish it......and it is hectic for readers to keep waiting....and it all keeps the forum more neat

By the way, I have never written an ff - just enjoy reading them.

I would understand if there were numerous ffs open for a writer, and they are not being updated on a regular basis, things get messy. But two??

Also, when some writers are not able to update (exams, busy with family, work, etc.), at least if there are more ffs around, we readers still have something to read from other writers.

I'm really glad this post was started coz I was really upset to log in this morning and find a ff from one of my favourite writers Sabsj closed as she has another one open at the same time. I can understand the need to keep the forum neat but I honestly think that the rule should be modified to two ff's per writer. I don't think that a writer can do justice to more than two ff's at the same time and rules are made with a purpose; but sometimes a degree of flexibility can be exercised depending on the circumstances. Sabs's second ff was written in memory of Aviva and that made it very special to a lot of people. Rules need to be enforced with sensitivity is my pov.

I agree with you.

As much as I would like to agree with the mods on having multiple ffs, I think they should create a limit on how many a person can have. I think every writer can handle having two or three at a time. But I also realize there are people who have more than 5, well yeah, that's out of control. I understand it takes over the forum and the KS related topics go down. But aren't the ffs also KS related? We're all trying to be creative and have fun with our writing as the show isn't giving us what we want at the moment.

I'm not saying that we shouldn't have rules, we should. Because that's the only way we can keep this forum running smoothly, but its also not fair to people who are trying to share their talent. so many of my favorite ffs have been closed today because of multiple ffs by the same writer. The ff updates is what i look forward to at the forum every day. It makes my day to come from from work and college at night and find all the ffs updated.

People are creative, they can handly having multiple ideas for multiple ffs.

I totally agree, FF writers, should be allowed to aleast write two to three FFs. It gives the rest of us something to read and is one of the main reasons this forum is soo active.

And i myself have written 16 FFs for this forum!!

i had 8 before the new rule

and 2 had to be closed!!

So its fair i guess!! i cant argue!

I wish they would change the number to 2 because we some really talented and committed writers that do a great job of updating on regular basis and writing great updates.
