On Friday, Maasi decided to be the judge, jury and executioner all rolled into one and summarily announced her verdict for JW " Guilty" and handed out the sentence "Sentenced to Death" and immediately executed her sentence by throwing Munna out. I will address the fairness of the verdict and proceedings a bit later. But I would venture only this for the time being: Irrespective of whether the ONS happened or not, a gross miscarriage of justice has already been witnessed. But my immediate observations:

What happens to J-B leap: Till now we have always believed that it will be Bani who will vanish into thin air. But it could very well be the other way round, it could be JW who would disappear into thin air after being officially handed the death sentence. Although the promo suggests that a friend probably Adi will bring him back to WM. But ultimately the decision on who disappears will be taken by Bani, not JW, not Maasi. Massi has announced four days of mourning for JW and if Bani is back out of her shock by chautha she will NEVER ALLOW JW to be left homeless, penniless and alone. And then when she finds out that she is preggie, she will leave WM and JW. But if she is too numb till that date, Maasi's sentence could well be carried out and it will be JW who vanishes.

What happens to the Walia group of companies: Massi may have the power to throw JW out of WM but Walia corp is his property so obviously she cannt touch that. Legall speaking, Bani can at best get some alimony out of his property. But that is something that will never happen. Maasi will probably insist on 100% of JW's estate as alimony and Munna would certainly not refuse that. Or else, Bani leaves without taking anything. So the estate remains undivided.

For the sake of the poor stakeholders of the Walia Corp, I hope it is Bani who ends up with the property. Ranveer, Pooch, TS and Adi will between themselves take good care of the estate, Jaidas may ruin it.

Who judges the judge: I am increasingly tempted to blame Maasi for the property-alimony-miscarriage fiasco and absolve Bani altogether. Agreed Bani was the main author but all said and done she was all of 23 years and deeply emotionally distressed at the time everything happened- a husband with whom she had an uncertain relationship, the "truth" about her Mom's death, a child which had come unexpectedly. But what was Maasi doing? She is a mature woman and surely she had enough knowledge of the world to find out another way to handle the issue- get legal advice for instance. No, she sat on her b*** and let Bani mishandle the whole thing. Agreed she had given a kasam , but when did a promise given to a bahu who she had known for a few months override her loyalty to her son whom she had known for 40 years. And could she not see the hurt in Munna's eyes, and did she not realise that even if Munna knew the truth he would co-operate with Bani.

And still she thought herself to be competent enough to pass a verdict without ever giving JW a chance to explain himself. She was merciless in her judgement to JW. But her own Judgement Day can't be too far away and I hope on that day she expects no more mercy than what she showed to Munna.

Coming back to AK drama. Obviously it cannot be Pia's handiwork alone, so who is her accomplice. My main suspect is Nattu, Bani had staged a drama to put his Mom in jail, Nattu could have staged the CD- AK drama to take revenge. A dark horse of course is Rosh, the drama has her style imprinted all over it.

Rgds,

Priyanka

PS: Shina, on Friday's post, I had recommended a public flogging for Maasi, now I am more inclined towards a firing squad or a one -way ticket to Abu Gharib.

The "leap" is supposed to mean that the show will forward to about 3 years ahead. And that is supposed to occur the week of Jan. 15. I think😕.

Great analysis Priyanka!

Masi's curse has indirectly cursed Bani as well and the future seems bleak for a JB reunion because jai can never get happiness in his life. Bani will never be happy without jai.😭

Oval,

The greatest enemies of the J-B relationship (apart from themselves of course) are not the bad guys- Pia, Jigs, Ranveer et al, the real enemies are the brain dead good guys - Maasi and Pooch. It is their brainlessness which allowed the relationship to come to such a pass.

Pri,

Another amazing post.👏👏👏

You are right, Massi is the biggest culprit, and she is the biggest thorn in JB's relationship.

I am really trying to sympathize with Bani, now that the hatred has inclined towards massi considerably, but bani is still at fault, i can't forget that.

You are right, one kasam shouldn't have bound massi, i mean if she couldn't tell jai directly, she should've teamed up with tarun or whoever found another legal way, and bring the truth infront of jai. I mean there were so many other ways, besides sitting on her behind and watching the whole drama, and suddenly trying to be an adult, where was she when an adult was needed? Where was she when my baby was wallowing in pain? What was she doing, when my baby went to her and cried his heart out?

She had no right to perform his shradh, and kick him out of his own house.

As for the property, Pri, it's an ekta drama, i don't think the legal ways will matter, whatever will happen, will be according to Ekta way, not legal way.

Do you think firing squad will be enough for massi? With the firing squad there should be general public and you know after the public is done with her, the firing squad can take their place.

This woman deserves a life worse than death, a life where there is only pain every waking moment. Her curse SHOULD backfire.

Take care,

Shina

Priyanka,

I was blown away by RK's acting on Fri. As massi was talking his expressions/eyes conveyed a whole multitude of emotions...it was fantastic. To be restrained and convey so much is amazing.

Massi less said the better. One mistake wiped away years of love, respect and devotion where this son of hers put her above and beyond everyone and did anything and everything for her. She does not deserve the title of mother. She saw him shatter into pieces over months and kept her mouth shut. With friends like this who needs enemies.

I really don't want JW to come back to WM. I want him to dissapear and everyone to find out that he was trapped. I think the DNA report will come out this week with pooch as the father. MT has said that Khabri told her that JW will shatter and loose everything. This might be it 😭 . Friday he lost everything. One good thing came out of it. Pia won't want him when he is penniless on the streets. I want him to sign over WI to bani through tarun and leave. I hope with Adi he gets to share his pain as to what led to ONS and what has happened since than. I don't want Adi to take him back. I don't think JW will go back. I hope not. He needs to be away from all those people whose lives he has cherished and made possible all these years.

My heart breaks for Bani. I hope massi, rano, adi and dadi are able to hold her together till the truth comes out. I hope Pia does not get a chance to have another go at her. If the PS article is true Bani will stay at WM and heal herself and Tarun being around will give her support.

cheers,
meghna

Shina,

You are right. The real punishment for her would be to see JW disppear into the Sea, presumed dead (marne ke baad do gaj zameen bhi nahin milegi) and then honourably acquitted in the ONS scam.

And after that having to wake up every morning and see her own ugly face in the mirror.

Yes pri, That would be a much better punishment for her.

She should find out that Jai is innocent in one scene and the very next Jai's death news should be brought to her(of course we the viewers will know he is not dead). That would be the best punishment she can get. Then i'll see how she will ever think of even doing something without thinking, and how she will react when she sees Jai's pictures, or even little krishna(of course jai's parchayi).

Death is way too easy for her to get.

Pri/ovaltine,

whether massi's curse was indication of the fact that JB won't be together forever and no more JB jodi because the curse is going to effect both equally if they ever come together, but u know one of my aunt was telling me if a mother curses his child that is never effective this is said somewhere is some religious book or something as that is never from heart.
