Kasamh Se Christmas
and New Year Bash
Dear Friends and All Members of the Kasamh Se Parivaar,
The KS IF Development Team is planning to organise a Christmas and New Year Bash for all its Dear Members.
The entire plan will revealed step by step to all. But, as part of the Bash, we are initially organising a Fanfic Competition. Yes, a Fanfic Competition! And it is only a part of the Christmas and New Year Bash. Its just a Curtain Raiser!!!
We invite all members of the KS Parivaar to come and participate in this Fanfic Competition which unlike its predecessor will be very simple.
And yes it will have a few Cardinal Rules, like –
The theme of the Fanfics will be solely 'Christmas and New Year'. No clues, no linkages nothing. You just have to weave your magical stories around this Central Theme.
Secondly, this time we are putting in a word limit of upto 2,500 words per Fanfic (excepting 'a', 'an', 'the').
Members are allowed to submit more than one, but not more than two, Fanfics.
The Fanfics should revolve around characters from Kasamh Se
Please do come up with exciting ideas since you have no clues to adhere to this time. Only the basic Theme.
Don't create multiple ids to qualify for more than one entry choice. If you do so your entries will be disqualified.
Don't advertise your creations through PMs or openly on forum. If you do so the entries will be disqualified.
All entries should remain anonymous till the voting is over and winners announced.
ALL Members are free to participate in this Contest. But please DO NOT post your FFs in this thread.
The Development Team is also organizing a Poetry Contest along with.
The major Themes for the Poetry Contest are – 'Love', 'Separation' and 'Love and Longing' - devoted to characters from Kasamh Se.
Members may choose to write poetries on any Theme and can submit upto 3 poetries each, one poetry each from each Theme.
The poetries are also not to be put up in this thread.
All the basic Rules will be the same for each category of Competition – whether it's the FF Competition or it's the Poetry Competition.
Please do not forget to adhere to the basic rules, you may go and read the post made by anjali.nair in the Announcement Section.
Period of Submission: 06 December - 22 December 2006
(for both Fanfics and Poetries)
Please PM your Fanfics and poetries ASAP to *Reemz* AND sangitadasAND also to the email id se_kasamh@yahoo.com
Please mention FANFIC or POETRY clearly as the subject text of the PMs and the email messages. And please submit your FFs and poetries well within time, don't wait for the last date.
Also please Do Not post the Fanfics and Poetries in this thread, you may only voice your opinions here. Once the contest date closes, all the FFs and Poetries will be put up in a separate thread categorically, and then put to Vote. The voting will determine the top three winners in each Group in this Competition!!!
