How much older is Jai than Bani?

Haven't seen the serial from the beginning so I'm missing some info. Was wondering what Jai's age is and whats Bani's. Thanks in advance.

I think Jai is 40 and Bani is 23.
If it is wrong sorry.

Arwind,
We have tried and failed terribly at guessing the correct ages of the characters .If we rely on the facts then nothing really falls in place but one thing assured,Bani is 23 years since it was mentioned in her divorce papers

If Jai is 40 then how old is Jigs since she is younger than him and has three grown up kids.

And in one of the early episodes Jai himself mentioned that he's 40 years old.
