Regarding Fan-Fictions

Hello my lovely KSians 😊

We have an issue here which I have been wanting to discuss with you guys for while now. As you can see from the title of the topic, its about the Fan-Fictions members write here. As brilliant as they are, they also are taking up a lot of screen space and I have had PMs regarding this from members who are worried that KS is not having the same discussions as before. I honestly feel that FF's are a wonderful way of expressing the unexploited talents of our members. However, I am bit concerned with the look of the forum, so I am not sure if this is the right place to keep them. I also understand how important they are to so many people here.

Therefore, my question is: Should these FF's be moved to their appropriate forum or do you want them left in the KS forum?! Please answer after giving it a thought. I want a fair discussion with no blaming or bashing anyone else.

I personally am for the FF's being in the KS forum since the story's are about the serial or various interpretations of KS.

Would love to see a sticky which is a sort of a index table which will be updated by the ff writers when they upload a new part +pg no.

Ziddi has one such thread for ff's and an big thanks to her.

i wouldnt mind.. if we had a separate section JUST fo KS FF'S.. cuz there's a lottttttt.. and they keep growing.. so and i luvv readin 'em all.. a different section JUST fo ff's sounds good

I am all for the sticky being made but this still would not stop the FF's coming on to the front page.😊

LOL, I doubt a seperate section for KS FF's can be made but there is one for FF's in general. So thats the other option you see. The index could be made a sticky here giving links to the FF, this way they will stay rooted here but will not appear in the KS forum. Thats one suggestion.😊

exactlyyy its the same problem.. that's y a different section seems like the only idea. that's right. a section fo KS ff's.. which follows the same rules... like u can't start a new ff till u finish the old one and so on..

I personally would like the FF to stay in the KS forum. 😊

that sounds fine.. as long as we have a sticky that has alllllll the ff's listed.. the ff names and author..so we can go and read 'em.. that's fine too

but u see that leads to a problem.. then how do we know who updated.. and clickin on all d ff's to see if they're updated is a lot of work. u know wat i mean
