Chap 51

Pushkar saw Bani. …thinking how are this two here. With different partners…

No one said anything about the caf.

Arshad kept on gazing at Pia when Jai wasn't looking…..Pia was strong ..but Arshad used to weaken her …even with his look…..like he was going to jump at her any second…

Bani had seen hat too…though with Laxmi at his side…he kept giving Pia the looks……

Arshad had used the word circuit. Instead of stupid….that was a sign…he was teasing Pia…

When they were in Singapore he sometimes used to say circuit this …circuit that ..but it was used when he wanted a kiss or something…she would and he would force her..hit her…..

Pia had noticed Laxmi's bruises…. but she didn't say anything…

….Laxmi wasn't trying to remember where she had seen Pia…

Finally she found a chance and excused herself .Bani and Laxmi….

Pia went to bring drinks……..Bani was with Laxmi..
Laxmi looked scared….worried more like….Bani too had seen the bruises….it was not well hidden..

Bani-"I saw you with ..Mr Pushkar…..you look worried…"

Laxmi-"yes…well..he is a friend.."
Bani-"oh…but you look all worried….i dnt want to intervene but if u love Pushkar you shoud eb with him.."

Laxmi-"love ..Pushkar??….no..he is just a friend…he is helping me..i .. ……"

Bani-"o ..im sorry...ur bruises...its so..."

Laxmi-„shh..pliz dont talk about that...Arshad will kill me.."

Bani- "what …but ..if he hits u ..u should…call off the wedding and stuff"

Laxmi-"no….we are not ….i…Arshad is forcing me….i love someone else…and Pushkar is helping me out of this.."

Pia came ..
Pia-"how can u stay with this creep..im sorry I have to tell you ..he is bad news…."
Bani told Pia what Laxmi had said

Laxmi-"I … cant stay with Arshad I know I have seen you somewhere….i just cant remember .."

Pia-"…U stay with Arshad!!!!!I would have remembered you …but I don't think we have met….anyways….how did u meet Arshad…how did u get those bruises…?"

Laxmi-" …last week I was doing something ..i was curious what was behind the door…Arshad used to go in there every night ..none was allowed in…I broke the lock ..somehow…..and saw that there were ….there were pictures ..of …a girl… everywhere …in the room ..unlit candles….in fornt of the pictures…..like he was cherishing the girl…..and then Arshd aw me …he started to ..hit me…….i don't know why im telling you this…I have to get away.."

Pia-"I hope we can help…..theer must be a way …"
Bani-"so who was this girl..??"

Laxmi-"it was,,,,it was Pia..!!"

Pia-"me??he had ....no...he is engaged to u ..he has moved on….i told u Bani…Arshad is a creep. he.."

Bani -"Pia …shh.. Arshad coming.."

Arshad stood beside Laxmi………….hands holding her elbow. Tight..

Arshad-"I hope you aren't talking about me. Darling.."

Laxmi-"no…we were juts talking about…my caf…

Bani-"yes.."

Arshad -"oo ….chale Laxmi..

Laxmi nodded and he took her away..

Pia-"did u see…Arshad…he is mad…we have to do something….

Bani-" cancel the deal…and stay away from Arshad.."

Pia-I don't think that's a good idea…..that would lead to more trouble….we wouldn't be able to help Laxmi….he could even harm Jai…"

Bani-"dnt say that…chalo jai aur Ritesh je paas"

They go to the boys..
Jai asked if they were enjoying themselves,,,
Pia smiled…

But jai was asking Bani…
The announcement of the deal was made… they cheered and the dinner was announced,..

Arshad had kept Laxmi away from Pia and Bani …

The party ended …

Ritesh dropped Bani home .jai and Pia followed…

Pia was totally shaken up by the fact that Arshad had kept a room full of her picture's ,, wouldn't be…

…………..

Bani's phone rang when she was home…it was the same phone number as the unknown caller

Bani-"I told you im not getting married to Ritesh.. I love Jai….cant u understand that much ..leave me alone..

She hung up…

The number called again
Bani-"why the hell are u calling me…..i just need time to tell Ritesh…ok….if u are checking if I have changed my mind then nNO…I don't love Ritesh…I love Jai…..so there is no chance of me marrying Ritesh……heloo…..is everything going into ur head????are u listening.."

"Yes I m" came the reply…

Bani was shocked…she knew the voice…it was clear …different..the person who had been threatening her was…….
