a friend visits bani FF ends pg3

Guys for the past three days I'm quite happy on seeing JB together (I hope the happiness stays for a long time. After all we have seen them apart for much longer time). Forget about Pia (that's something that hurts. The song 'chal chale' should have been played for JB and not JP[oh no! I can't even think of such a pair]- it doesn't suit). Also there were few things to enjoy this festive season.

Firstly, all those special preparations by my mother.

Secondly, last week I got to watch prachi enjoying dandia in my city on a local tv channel and guess what! she was wearing a deep pink-colored dress, she looked pretty as usual. I hope she liked the city.

Thirdly, I enjoyed reading prachi's interview in a magazine where she admits that Bani and prachi are completely opposites and moreover what prachi can never do in her real life, Bani can do in her reel life. Dancing used to be her favorite hobby, at present it is shopping.

My college is going to reopen within two days. So I thought before the happiness gets absorbed in E.M theory, etc. let me write a FF.

The doorbell rang. Rano opened the door. A man was standing in front of the door. He just moved and there Rano saw someone behind the man. She looked astonished. The man said, "aap inko jaanti hai?" Rano replied, "ha". The man again said, "woh inhe raasta nahi mil raha tha, inke paas ek photo tha usse main samajh gaya aur inhe yahaan le aaya." Rano said, "thank you."

Then she took the visitor inside. She hugged him and said, "tum bhi na kamaal karte ho. Aur batao kaise ho?" He was too busy to feel the familiar warmth after so many months that he didn't bother to answer. Then suddenly he started to look all around and his face became pale. Rano soon realized who he was searching for. She said, "Bani di yahaan nahi hai. Ruko main unse tumhari baat karati hoon." She picked up the phone and called Bani who was in Dubai. Bani was busy in rubbing her eyes when her phone rang. She picked it up and said, "bolo rano." Rano said, "guess what Jeet aaya hai."

Bani jumped with joy and said, "tum sach keh rahi ho? Jeet aaya hai? Mera Jeet. Oh I love him so much. Kahaan hai woh? Use phone do." Rano put the receiver on Jeet's ear. Bani said, "Jeet kaise ho?" Jeet didn't reply. His eyes became moist. Rano took the receiver back and said, "di aap jaldi aa jaiye. Jeet bahut khush hoga." Bani said, "ha Rano main next flight se hi aa rahi hoon." Jay was watching Bani's expressions right from the beginning. He couldn't figure out who is Jeet? Still lying on the bed Jay asked, "ye Jeet kaun hai?" Bani already busy with her packing said, "Jeet? woh mera dost hai. Mujhe usse jald se jald milna hai. Tum bhi taiyyar ho jao." Jay said, "ok main hamari tickets book karwa deta hoon."

After sometime Jay came back and said, "all done mam." Bani hugged Jay and said, "thank you Jay. Tumhe nahi pata main kitni bechain hoon usse milne ke liye." Jay smiled at her but he felt somewhat JEALOUS. Bani continued, "mujhe aaj bhi yaad hai, kaise sirf main aur woh garden mein, fields mein ghanto ghoomte rehte the. Uske saath waqt kaise kat jaata tha pata hi nahi chalta tha. Main usse apne dil ki har baat keh sakti hoon. You know he is soooooooooooooooooooo cute, so lovable and must say funny. Uske saath raho to koi udaas rah hi nahi sakta. Par woh bahut sentimental bhi hai. hum jab mt. Abu chodke aa rahe the tab woh out of station tha. Wahaan jaane se pehle kaise woh mere gale laga tha and after I KISSED him he felt relaxed. I could feel it." Jay said, "you ki…….." but didn't finish. Jay looked furious. He felt like killing Jeet. He left the room in rage.

Throughout the journey Jay didn't talk to Bani. Bani was too much absorbed with her thoughts to realize that Jay was angry with her. This made Jay angrier. While driving home their car was passing through the market. Bani said to the driver, "stop the car" and went outside. Jay didn't ask her anything but his eyes kept rolling behind Bani and tried to get the answer. After 5 mins. or so Bani returned with lots of palak(spinach). There was a weak smile on Jay's face. He thought, "chalo Bani ko yaad to hai ki maine use lautne par palak-paneer (I must say this one is very delicious) banane ke liye kaha tha."

Bani interrupted his thoughts by saying, "Jeet ko palak bahut bahut pasand hai. Main use apne hatho se yeh saara ka saara palak khilaoongi." Jay couldn't believe his ears. He thought, "What is she saying? Is she not in her senses?" The name Jeet was getting into his nerves. He called someone just to keep Bani away from saying about 'that Jeet'. They reached home. Bani stepped out first and started running towards the door. Jay moved sluggishly as he was not interested to meet 'that Jeet'.

Bani knocked the door repeatedly. Rano opened the door and on seeing Bani she said, "jaaiye mil aaiye aapke dost se. kab se intezaar kar raha hai aapka." Jay could hear what Rano said and stopped for a while. He wanted to avoid what he could see on entering the house. Meanwhile Bani went towards Jeet and gave him a tight hug. Then she kissed him when Jay entered the house. He saw Bani and that Jeet in each other's arm and was dumbstruck. He couldn't believe his eyes. He quickly looked towards Rano who appeared blank. Jay was about to fall but somehow managed to remain steady and said, "ye Jeet hai? Ye ye BAKRI?(remember the one in the title song!!!)" there he was- all white harmless goat sitting on Bani's lap, already busy in eating palak from her hands. Bani tightened her hold around the goat and said, "ha yahi hai mera pyara sa Jeet. Tumne kya socha?" Jay tried not to reveal the jealousy and immediately went to his room and had a whole-hearted laugh.

At dinner time Jeet was sitting on Bani's lap. Bani said, "ab ye hamare saath rahega." Jay was looking at Jeet and thinking how lucky he was to be so close to Bani and that too all the time. Suddenly an idea struck Jay's mind and he said, "don't tell me ye hamare kamre rahega." Bani smiled and said, "don't worry about that." And then turning towards Jeet she said, "kyun Jeet?" Jeet replied, "Maeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeae."

Jay woke up before Bani and was in one of his naughtiest moods. He was about to insert a finely rolled corner of the bed sheet in her ears when there was a sound €œmaeaeaeaeae, maeaeaeaeae€. Jay jumped back. Bani opened her eyes and said, €œJay! Jeet bahar khada hai. Please use andar le aao.€ Jay replied, €œha ha€.

While going towards the door Jay thought €œye bakri bhi na hadh karta hai. Alarm ki toh ab jaroorat hi nahi padti. Ye bakri mahashay jo hai na. Aa jata hai subah subah apni Bani se milne.€ Jay opened the door to find an eagerly waiting Jeet. He immediately entered into the room. Without losing any time Jay caught Jeet and whispered to him, €œJeet chal teri shaadi kara deta hoon. Phir dekhta hoon tu subah subah apni mrs. Jeet ko chod ke kaise aata hai.€ Then he handed over Jeet to Bani and said, €œlo sambhalo€ and left. After he came back all dressed to leave for the office he could hear Bani singing €œMeri duniya hai tujhme basi, tere bin main kya kuch bhi nahin. Teri jaan mein meri jaan hai o saathi mere. Meri duniya hai€.€ He had a look at Bani. He was already excited imagining that the song was meant for him but bhaggu ko to kuch aur hi manjur tha. Bani was singing for Jeet and both of them were swinging their heads in enjoyment. Jay got disappointed and said to himself, €œis bakri aur is bakri ki deewani ka kuch karna padega.€

All of a sudden Rano came running and said €œdi, Abhay aaya hai. Jaldi chalo.€ Bani was suddenly filled with excitement and quickly went out of the room holding Jeet in her lap like a baby. But before Rano could leave Jay asked, €œAbhay?€ Rano hurriedly replied, €œdi ka dost hai€ and left. Jay smiled and went towards the door from where he could hear Bani saying, €œAbhay, achcha hua Jeet ko ek aur dost mil gaya.€ Jay wondered, €œek aur bakri. Kya naam rakha hai- Abhay. Abhay: the scared goat, picture achchi chalegi (abhay means one who is not afraid of anything/anyone). Agar yeh silsila chalta raha to main Jay walia-the business tycoon se jald hi Jay walia-the millionaire shepherd ban jaoonga.€ He was already moving downstairs and leaned to have a look at Abhay. He thought may be this one is black. Just when he was about 2-3 stairs above the ground he saw Bani holding the hand of a handsome man and saying, €œAbhay baitho na.€ Jay missed the remaining steps and stumbled over poor Jeet. Jeet jumped with fear. Bani worriedly asked, €œJay kya hua?€ Jay replied, €œkuch nahi€ but said to himself €œisbar bakri ki jagah insaan kahaan se aa gaya?€ Bani introduced Abhay to Jay, €œJay, yeh Abhay hai. Actually Jeet isi ke saath rehta tha. Yeh us din ghar mein nahi tha jisdin Jeet wahan se nikla tha. Abhay is very intelligent. Isne guess kar liya ki Jeet sirf mere paas hi aa sakta hai. Isliye yeh bhi yahaan chala aaya.€ And then said to Abhay, €œAbhay yeh mere husband hai, Jay.€ Jay thought, €œyehi mouka hai uska haath chudane ka€ and instantly stretched his hand to greet Abhay. Jay walia is intelligent enough - the formula worked.

Jay left for the office but kept a check on what€™s happening at home by calling either Rano or Bani for this and that reason. After he returned home he saw that Bani is having a laugh with Abhay. But before he got forced to think of an unpleasant way of throwing out Abhay, Abhay said that he will leave next day. Jay felt relaxed.

Jay was in his room searching for something when he saw Jeet chewing something. He saw it was a piece of paper half of which was hanging from Jeet€™s mouth undersigned as €˜tumhara Jay€™. A shocked Jay tried to take out the paper just when Bani entered the room. A surprised Bani asked, €œyeh kya kar rahe ho?€ Jay still recovering from his shock said, €œwoh woh main, woh main€woh Jeet kaagaz kha raha tha.€ Hearing this, Bani got angry and said, €œtoh aur kya karega? Uske favorite chocolate biscuits toh tum kha gaye.€ Jay defended, €œmain kyun khaoonga?€ Bani replied, €œusey pareshaan karne ke liye taki woh mere saath waqt na guzaar sake.€ Jay said, €œtum mere bare mein aisa sochti ho? Thik hai ab to izzat ka sawaal hai. Ab main biscuit I mean uske favorite chocolate biscuits leke hi aaoonga€ and leaves the room.

While going downstairs, Jay thought €œkya din aa gaye hai tumhare Jay walia, jis bakri ne tumhari zindagi ka pehla love letter kha liya uske liye raat mein biscuit khojne nikle ho€ (actually Jay wrote a love letter obviously we know for whom, beforehand as he was going to be out of town for few days). Suddenly Jay heard some munching sound. It was coming from the kitchen. Jay thought it must be Dadi or Saahil. He moved forward but couldn€™t see anyone. He switched on the lights and became spellbound for a moment. He didn€™t expect that. No he didn€™t. He knew no one would have believed it. How can it be possible? He said, €œJigyasa tum?€ and there was a meek reply, €œJay bhaiya woh mujhse chocolate biscuits dekhkar raha nahi gaya. Maine pura khatam nahi kiya. Abhi bhi do baki hai. Ye lijiye.€ Jay shook his head in disbelief and left with the packet. On returning to his room Jay found no one there. He went to the guest room. He saw Bani, rano, Abhay and Jeet having a good time while chatting. He placed the packet on the table and said, €œBani, main sone ja raha hoon. Good night to all of you€ and then left.

After an hour or so when Bani entered her room she found Jay humming some song while closing his eyes. She asked instantly, €œtum abhi to tak soye nahi?€ In reply Jay started singing, €œso jaoon main tum agar mere khwabon me aao, mere khwabon me aao (song from Woh Lamhe)€ still keeping his eyes closed. Bani smiled at the reply and then moved towards Jay.

she put Jeet on his lap. Without realizing Jay wrapped his arms tightly around Jeet. The Walia mansion then shook with a loud €œMaeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeaea.€

Jay was in Delhi for a few days. The day he was supposed to return, he called Bani in the morning. Bani picked up the phone and said, "hello". Jay said, "just hello? Aur kuch bolo." Bani replied in a not interested manner, "is there anything important?" jay didn't like it and said, "nothing. Aise hi phone kiye tha." Bani didn't let him continue and said, "toh main phone rakhti hoon. Mujhe bahut kaam hai" and disconnected the phone. Jay got confused by Bani's attitude. He then called Masi. Masi answered the call, "bolo munna koi zaroori baat hai?" Jay became disgusted. He simply asked, "what's the matter masi? Pehle Bani phir aap. Kisi ko mujhse baat hi nahi karni…" Masi interrupted, "munna aaj ghar main bahut kaam hai beta. Samjha kar." Jay instantly asked, "aisa kounsa kaam hai?" Masi hurriedly replied, "tu shaam ko jab aayega tab pata chal jayega. Ab main phone rakhti hoon." Jay thought "they are upto something but what is it?"

There at the Walia mansion right from the morning everyone was busy. Rano, Raashi & Dadi were busy, making ladoos. Jigyasa was busy supervising the decorations that were being done. Masi and Bani were engaged in other food preparations. Saahil was busy in arranging tables and chairs and of course music. Jeet was busy watching dance numbers on television.

In the evening after Aditya returned early, the family was joined by Pia, Pushkar, Roshni, Ranvijay and Ranveer, Anu, Rohit, Tarun. Jeet and Pushkar became friends in a few minutes. Pia also joined hands with Rano in giving the finishing touches.

Jay came at 7 o'clock. He was surprised to see so many arrangements and the whole family together with some special guests all dressed up for may be a party. He went straight towards Bani and asked, "yeh sab kya hai?" Bani said, "aaj ghar mein ek choti si party hai" and left before Jay could enquire more. He went towards Rano and asked, "yeh party kis khushi mein rakhi gayi hai?" Rano cheerfully replied, "today is someone's birthday." Jay asked, "whose birthday?" but before Rano could reply the music started to play and Saahil took Rano to the dance floor. Jay was too tired to stress his mind to recall whose birthday it was. He thought, "let's see." Suddenly the music stopped playing and everyone except Jay, started clapping as well as singing, "happy birthday to you. happy birthday to you. happy birthday. happy birthday. happy birthday to you."

Jay turned back. He saw Bani coming downstairs with Jeet in her lap who was overwhelmed with the celebrations. Bani came towards Jay when a voice was heard, "Happy birthday Jeet" and Masi took jeet in her arms. Everybody wished Jeet. By this time Jay had a smile on his face and he also wished Jeet. The music once again started to play. They were playing the popular dance numbers and Jeet ruled the floor (now I know why he was watching those things in the morning).

After sometime everyone was busy chatting with one another and the dance floor was empty. Bani was moving towards the kitchen when she overheard a conversation. It was Roshni saying to someone, "mujhe tumse akele mein kuch baatein karni hai. Is bhid mein thik se baat nahi ho pa raha hai. Please mere saath drawing room mein chalo na. jahan sirf tum aur main honge". Then Bani heard some sound of footsteps moving upstairs. An alert Bani desperately searched for Jay but couldn't find him. She immediately ran towards the drawing room. She thought, "I can't let this happen." When she stopped outside the room she found the door locked and could hear Roshni laughing whole-heartedly. Bani couldn't understand what to do and knocked the door. She knocked incessantly. Roshni opened the door. Bani rushed into the room. She became spellbound after what she saw. There was a strange silence for a moment then Bani's eyes got filled with tears. She couldn't control her emotions anymore and started………………laughing. She clapped and jumped with joy and Roshni also joined her. Hearing Bani's laughter Jay came to the room and was surprised to see Jeet dancing, in fact shaking his hips while listening to Shakira's "Hips don't lie."

After half an hour all of them came downstairs and joined others. Aditya announced, "let's cut the cake". Jay was the first one to move towards the table. There were two cakes on the table. One was beautifully designed and totally made up of cream and the other was a chocolate cake with all funky designs. Jay said, "Takdeer ho toh Jeet ke jaisi. Do do birthday cake!" Everybody laughed at Jay's comment but more than expected. Rano held one of Jeet's forelimb along with the knife. Jay was watching this with keen interest when suddenly someone held his hand. He turned back to find Bani smiling at him. He smiled back and was about to turn towards Jeet when Bani shouted in his ears, "Happy birthday to you to Jay" and everybody started clapping and saying, "Happy birthday to you to." It seemed to Jay as if he was dreaming. He checked out the date in his watch and in fact it was his birthday. Anu commented in somewhat Jay's tone, "Ha bhai ha. Takdeer ho toh Jeet ke jaisi. Aakhir Jay walia ke saath apna birthday share karne ka mouka har kisi ko to nahi milta" and laughed hysterically. Everybody joined Anu and Jay understood why they were laughing like that on his comment. Jay murmured, "meri takdeer ka to socho. Apna birthday ek bakri ke saath share kar raha hoon." Bani heard it and her had more laughter. Controlling her laughter Bani said, "ab cake katiye birthday boys." Jay planned to teach Bani a lesson for making a fool of him. He cut the cake and offered the first piece to Masi and looked sideways to observe Bani's reaction. But where was she? He turned back and to his greatest amazement he found Bani standing with the remaining cake in one of her hands. She said, "ye aapke liye" and moved her hand towards Jay. Jay screamed, "nahi!!!!!! Ye lo" and offered her the remaining part of the piece of cake which he cut.

After dinner, everybody was tapping their feet as the DJ played the song "Meri dhoop hai tu, meri chaon hai tu (song from Zindaggi Rocks)". Bani said to Jay, "why don't you sing this song for us?" Jay smartly replied, "I don't know the lyrics." Bani said, "OK. For me?" Jay again said, "I don't know the lyrics." Bani said, "then any song that you know." Jay said, "No". Bani said, "Not for me also?" Jay said, "No." Bani got angry and said, "fine. tumse toh Jeet accha hai. Use ekbaar kehne par hi koi bhi gaana sunane ke liye taiyar ho jayega." Jay said mockingly, "oh really?" Bani said, "I can show you" Jay said, "OK show me." Taking the mike in her hands Bani said to Jeet, "Jeet mere liye zara ek gaana gao" and had a wicked smile on her face. Jay noticed this and realized that something is fishy when there was a loud sound coming out of the speakers which made everybody place finger in their ears. Bani handed over Jeet to Jay so that he can't close his ears. Jay looked helpless as Jeet continued singing, "Maeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeae."




What a tough time dealing with the bakri.
