Rupy, that was well said. My sentiments exactly! Up until yesterday I still had hope but today's episode was the nail on the coffin. Oh how I loved and adored Jai and Bani but someone correctly said that it's better to have loved and lost than not love at all.
A very big thank you to the KS creatives for doing what I thought was not possible and that is curing my obsession with KS. As MT stated, it's no longer the love story/drama we all got hooked to, it's now ( i don't know what it is now.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zz) I can now actually focus at work and not think of when Jai and Bani will be reunited and how they will be reunited...my client's will be pleased that I can finally be efficient (I cannot believe I let myself get so attached to this show) BUT THANK KS TEAM!

Thanks to KS Team for giving me an early sleep yesterday. After a very long time I started watching a serial, which caused my husband to stop watching his favourite news channel for half an hour. From yesterday onwards, he started watching the news channel peacfully and letting me go early to bed. Thank you KS team for making an end to my serial world once again. I was very much interested in reading the FFs. But now doesnot feel to read that too.. While reading it, the JP night flashes behind the my memory.. so THANKS KS team for making an end to all these things and giving me my normal life back

👏 Thanks to the KS team for finally helping me to tear away from the serial and switch to other channels who infact have better serials at the same time, which are more realistic.

Rupy, as usual bang on.

Someone else said somehting similiar here: I was surprised by how KS grabbed me - the level of intensity with which I was involved was completely different and unprecendented. I'd go to sleep thinking KS, wake up thinking KS and log on to the forum in between. I still haven't been able to single out the one factor that made it so addictive.
Naturally such obsessions can never be healthy - tearing myself away from a discussion to do some work was such an effort.

Today the KS team has managed that - administered such a huge dose of anti addiction that we must all walk free.

Yeah, but it was one sweet journey while it lasted!!!😊

Well said infinityuser72 and Rupy,
You have expressed my thoughts as well. My aunt and uncle look at this serial and can't say enough good things about how much better it is than American serials especially in terms of morality. Let them wait a month until Canada catches up to India and they will be shocked that there is no morality left.
I have neglected my family for 30min each night at 8:30 and neglected homework and work to check out the Forum. Now I have my life back. No more daydreaming about a beautiful love story. This weeks episodes nearly made me physically ill 🤢 🤢 I can't see how JW and JB relationship can be redeemed back to the innocent love story that captured my interest. On previous posts someone said that NRIs seem to have more ethics and morality than Indians - I don't know if that is so but with Indian writers trying to emulate storylines that Western society embraces, I'm wondering if the creatives feel this is what society wants to see. As a member of society, I can say it is not what I want to see. As I have said before, sadly I will not be watching KS as the quality has gone for fantabulous to degrading.

Rupy

Couldn't have said it better myself!! I still absolutely love Jai Walia - but not what he has become, just the old figment of my imagination and what was presented to us. I'll still watch KS for RK and PD's brilliant acting, but it just will never be the same!

I shoulda seen this coming, and now in retrospect, I think back to MT's post about the weekend tranquilizer, and I totally didn't get it then!! Now I do!!!!! Had I seen this coming I would've at least mentally set myself up for it ... this came as a big bad blow!

I used to be a silent watcher here on the forum but joined just because of some of these posts after the recent KS twist. You are absolutely right and I too would like to thank the KS team!!! I am glad to have more time to study...or to just relax...and maybe go watch a movie or something...no more serials for me.
