Power of a Child
Chapter 7:

There car pulled up in front of the lodge. There was thick layers of snow everywhere and snow was beginning to fall again! (Let's imagine, I dunno what goes on at the Peaks) Bani started to shiver uncontrollably. Jai woke her up and gave her his coat, and helped her out of the car.
A person from the main lodge came out, and took their stuff. The boy diverted the main path, and headed round back, to where the private cabins were. Jai had called before hand, on their way there to confirm their plans with the manager, before hand.
"Um, Bani, one minute, I need to go check in the Main Lodge and stuff before we go to our cabin" Jai said, smiling down at her. She looked adorable wrapped tightly in his large coat, the bottom of her sari peeking out, snow flakes on her hair! She nodded, "Yep, anything to hurry out of this!" and he laughed, pulling her close and hurrying down the path to the main lodge.
As they entered, the manager scuttled quickly to their side. He was sort in Indian-Chinese mix.
"Ah, Mr Walia, so nice of you to come!" he said warmly, extending his hand, which Jai shook.
"And the lovely Mrs Walia! If I may?" and he took he hand and kissed it, making Bani blush. She was used to these things by now, but, it was still a bit awkward to have some strange man kissing her hand.
"Um, Mr Kong, there's ah…" he looks down slightly at Bani, who looks back at him with interest.
"Ah? OH! Yes yes! Come this way please Mr Walia" Mr Kong said, pointing to a corner which was more private for their talk.
"UM, Bani excuse me one minute" Jai asked, and she nodded. She walked over to the fireplace, and sat warming her fingers and toes.

J: "Is everything in the cabin ready?"
K: "Yes sir!"
J: "Candles?"
K: "All there sir"
J: "Choc--"
K: "Yes yes yes, chocolates, straweberries, wine, music, single red rose-long stem, two leaves, already lying on the bed with the note scrolled around it"
Jai sighed and smiled happily. So far so good. He saw Bani eyeing him suspiciously, and blew a kiss at her, making her blush and open her eyes wide.
K: "Here's your keys sir…and by all means have a nice visit, and if you need just about anything my staff and I are at your disposal"
Jai thanked him and then walked off to Bani.
"Hun, let's go, the bellhop already took our stuff to our cabin" Jai told her, extending his hands for her to hold.
She got up and they headed off along the path to the private cabins. As they walked, Bani noted the other different cabins. She read their numbers mentally, "Cabins 1-10 on the left, 10-15 on the right…and…143 in the middle…that doesn't make sense…143? And a single grand cabin at that too…wonder what's up?" she threw Jai a sideward glance, as if he'd read her mind and would explain, but he didn't, so she just shrugged and moved forward with him.

At last they reached the large wooden door of Cabin 143. Jai took out the key and opened the door quickly, as he was beginning to freeze his butt off. The fire place was already lit, bathing the room in a soft amber glow, and making it warm and toasty. Both scuttled in quickly and shut the cold out.
Bani scanned the cabin, noting the spacious living room set in front of the fireplace, a kitchen at one corner, and three doors to the side of the kitchen.
"Three doors?" she asked out loud.
"Oh yea, two bedrooms and a bathroom" Jai explained.
"OH" she said. She shrugged the coat off, and smoothened out her sari, "I should go change into more comfy clothes…so should you"
"Yea! Umm…you change in the bathroom? I'll go ahead and change in our bedroom…that is the first door on the right" Jai told her. He looked suspicious!
Eyeing him warily, she nodded, and headed off to the bathroom with some stuff to change.

Jai hurried into their room. He saw the candles laid out around the room, a single red rose with a long stem and two leaves, with a parchment paper rolled around it lay on their red-wine coloured sheets. Since the place was now warm, he changed into black slacks, and proceeded to lighting the candles quickly. He ensured the wine was being chilled in the silver bucket next to the bed, and he saw a silver platter with strawberried in the middle, and chocolates wrapped in red and silver paper surrounding it and a can of whipped cream too! He checked the sound system, ensured the correct CD's were in place, and then hurried back out to the living room. He plopped down on the plush leather recliner, basking in the warmth of the fireplace. He looked up when he heard a door opening, to see Bani coming out in a silk black robe, rather short, only halfway down her thighs with a deep,plunging v-neckline, but tied securely round her hips. He glimpsed bare skin, and pink silk, his eyes lingering on her legs and midriff more than it should, as she came and sat near him. She could sense his hormones raising, and tried not to laugh, because these things were really funny when planned…but she figured she'd owed him a surprise.
She smiled sweetly at him, as he ran one hand through her hair, the other holding her round her waist.
"Woman…do you know what you're doing to me?" He whispered, his voice cracking.
"No…what?" she replied naughtily, tracing a finger on his broad chest, biting one side of her lip seductively.
Without even giving a response her leaned forward, covering her lips with his, "This" he said, pulling her towards him and kissing her like no tomorrow. He was about to untie her robe, but she drew back,
"Uh uh!" she said wagging her index finger, "Wait for the bedroom…not here" and she winked, and flew off of him and began running as he started chasing her. He was more than ready to hit the bedroom!
She dodged him as he tried to pick her up, by jumping on the sofa, and as he passed, she hopped onto his back!
"Ahhh!!" she screamed as he continued running with her on his back.
"Serves you right!" he laughed, coming to a halt in front of their bedroom door.
"Close your eyes" he said.
"Why?"
"Trust me!"
and so she did. He opened the door, and walked in, closing it shut behind him.
"Open"
"OMG"
