Jai Walia- Can he ever understand Bani???

Love is the most beautiful thing in this world, until it becomes an obession. But what would u call that love where u know urself that it was never meant for u to begin with. What is love then? Some say love is god, others say love is scarifice, still many believe love can change and destroy a person at the sametime.

This is what Bani is going through, I mean here is a man whom she knows she loves, but does Jai Walia really loves Bani? or is it the unborn child that has made him realize what Bani meant to him? Where was this love when he threw Bani out on the first night of the wedding? Where was this love when he threw her out of his house and called her every forsaken and hurled bad abuses at her and her family? Was it decent for him to call Bani's father a drunkard when he knew what he had done to her and her family?

I have been reading the forum lately, it seems everyone is after Bani because she is putting Jai Walia through hell. Well, all I can say is that Jai is getting what he truly deserves. He is still unsure of his feelings towards Bani. Everytime Pia comes in front of him he is lost and unsure what he wants he is unable to defend himself against Pia, and she further confuses him and he just stands there not knowing what to do? Many may come after me with brickbats at this point of time, all I can say is bring it on!!! Do u think Jai Walia would have cared this much for Bani if she was not pregnant? Do u think he would have stayed with Bani had the PR raaz not blown in his own face. I do not think so.

He has been saying he wanted to leave Bani from Day one. So why is he so surprised if Bani has become completely indifferent towards him and his family? What has she really gotten from this marriage anyway except humilation, misunderstanding and mental anguish? Is there anything she has gotten from Jai Walia that she can say that was love?

Even the night that they bonded, the very next morning Jai Walia called that night a mistake and continued like it did not matter to him so what made him change his mind that if front of ganpati he made her tell him the truth? Why should Bani do this?

Bani is much decent that Jai Walia, even after all that he has put her through she is helping a man who took pleasure out of her displeasure he bulldozed her house and was responsible for her mother's demise. Yet the irony is uncanny that Bani is saving the man against his own family members who are plotting to take away his wealth when this very man completely destoyed everything that house represented.

The memories of her family were destroyed with the house. Can Jai Walia bring back those memories? I think not.

Bani is doing this out of love, at least she had the guts to tell Jai that she loved him even for a moment. Has Jai even in his thoughts ever said that he loves Bani?

No, then why the surprise??

But one more thing I fail to understand, was his trust towards his wife only for a short time? When he said, without saying anything this trust will remain forever, why that was not followed atleast for few months!! forget years!!!!!!!!! Ekta u create excellent words, but u forget that those characters should follow it!

Totally agree with this POV and quite strongly as well.
I did notice that a lot ppl are against what is Bani is doing right now in the show.
The amount of hurt that Bani's behavior is causing Jai Walia is far less compared to the insults, torture that Jai Walia put her through. He abused her family and all the while knowing that he was responsible for the loss of their Mother, but she went on and while at the Walia house only tried to save the honor of the family , be it the Anu Pregnancy case or Sahil and Rano's marraige.

Why is that we are always empathising with Jai Walia ? Is Bani any less human than he is ? No she isnt , Jai Walia in all his senses decided to destroy the house bani and her sisters treasured their childhood memories with and he did so. Where as Bani despite all that he put her through has only tried to save his house. Z
If we recollect, Maasi says Jai has his childhood memories in that house , and she cant take it away ? Well what did she have to say when Jai Walia destroyed without a second thought , the house in Mt Abu?
I fail to understand that why are we only looking at Jai and empathising with him rather than Bani ? Bani's reactions at the face of it do seem rational, but well she has no choice or rather that is what she has been told and she in all senses has decided to save the honor of the man she loves.
Despite all the anger and hatred Jai showed towards Bani, Bani managed to see good in this man and undeerstand that his ego has been hurt and saw the man behind the Jai and not Jai Walia. He was a hurt man, and she understood that and she realized that he was venting his anger on her and she knew that eventually he would calm down and see things in more rational perspective.
And now when she is going through a situation , where has chosen to take the wrath of the entire family for reason she does not want to reveal, if Jai wants to trust her and stand by her , why are we empathising with him only? Didnt she stand by him , while he vented out all his anger on her for no fault of hers? She took in much more insult and torture than he is doing today ?

Well said. I was watching the earlier episode videos and now they are just showing a role reversal. Altho I am a Bani supporter I feel creatives have gone overboard with her character at the moment. I too still feel, JAI needs to realize he loves her, he doesn't yet. He still thinks of pia as his pyar and not bani. All the time it is bechaa..So maybe this new track as revolting as it seems to us needs to be played out in the hope that he realizes he loves her and only her. But the article talked about Bani realizing her love for jai??? she already loves him perhaps they are referring to her love vs her hatred and her love triumphs over her hatred..

No one has claimed that Jai is a saint and many of IFFies who are diehard Jai fans- mistletoe for one- had condemned Jai when he was being mean to Bani. No one has claimed that Bani is a sinner. Right from the start of the alimony fiasco everyone has believed that Bani is doing this to protect Jai's estate. The reason why many people (including me) oppose what Bani is doing currently is becuase the way she is going about her is completely wrong- she is exposing herself, her unborn child and Jai to great danger- both physically and financially. By taking on J-R without informing Jai she is exposing herself to the possibility of a physical attack by them- remember there is a murderer loose. Plus even if she restores all of Jai's wealth without telling him about J-R conspiracy, what would prevent them from doing another fraud later.

Jai in fact does understand Bani very well. That's why he has for so long refused to believe that Bani is doing this for selfish motives. He has compared her to Sita, said that he trusts her as much as God, he was willing to take Bani's death on himself in the Mukesh Mill epi, he wants Tarun to hand over whatever he has to Bani-if this is not love, then what is.

But does Bani understand Jai, does she understand that for Jai, she and her child may be more important than his money and that if she tells the truth to him, he would exactly what she wants him to do.

Agree with most of what you say MK but I still feel that lately even Bani has no more Logic in her actions and the whole character is wasting !
Agreed that her love is unconditional so far but then Jai too has learned to love her in that way - he has been cheated on love twice before so could not understand the true meaning of love but he has mentioned that what he feels for Bani is MORE than love and that they are bonded by their souls more than just hearts.
I am not justifying his attitude either as he has ill treated Bani at first but as he said - she is the one who made him realise WHAT love is by bearing his hatred.
Both the characters were very highly protrayed until the Divorce/Alimony saga and I think the creatives HAVE to re-think their story to bring back the "essence" of those two characters to make the serial work and not just become "Another Ekta disaster"

You brought tears to mey eyes. An dyou have written exactly what I wanted to but maybe, I was lacking that spirit and courage.
But now, I want to get back into the fray, and for the day Jai falls from Grace. But then the Jai supporters will tell - oh, he is humane after all, he can make wrongs but give him time to amend these. But yes, they have DIFFERENT expectations and standards from Bani.
Everytime Bani has to be the giver in the relationship. Why? Just because she fell in love with Jai and is so sure of her feelinsg for him. JW is no spring chicken, if he still doesn't understand or realise his feelings for Bani, then let be it - he doesn't deserve Bani.
Even after the consummation happened, on a no. of occasions he kept on harping that he still wanted to free her so that she could live her life the way she wanted. At that moment, he never cared for her feelings, her sensibilities, NOTHING. He should have realised that he had slept with her wife and changed everything and it wasn't as if he had taken a drug-laced drink. I dont blame him for their consummation. What I wanted was that he should have been man enough to understand the implications and act accordingly. Had the baby not been in the picture, he would have easily let her go, whatever his feelings for her is. But then, that would be so magnaminous on his part to do so!!!

If he had been in Bani's place as far as the PR secret is concerned, tell me how would he have acted? Well your answer is as good as mine's.

Had he really punished Ranveer for demolishing the Dixit house in Mt. Abu except for a sharp reminder that he wanted the house to be rebuilt exactly in the same form. Why dont you go and build a Taj Mahal?

Did he slap Anu even once for the mistake she committed? No, that would be so ungentlemanly. But yes, he was man enough to try to throw his wife out of the house and label her as 'characterless' in front of an outsider? when the reality is that he has so many skeletons popping out of his cupboards now and then. Who gave him the right to call Bani 'characterless'? Oh, i forgot, he is the epitome of a husband. he can do and say anything he wants. What he conveniently forgot is that if he was forced into matrimony with Bani, she was also forced into it. For a normal person like her, would it be so difficult to have a real boyfriend in her life, with whom she could have cohabited, and the child may have been the result of that relationship? Why did he assume Bani to take all the steps in their relationship?

Really, there should be some bounds on hyprocrisy too. I am sure I am not pleasing 97-98 p.c. of the members, but I simply dont care. SO bring the charges on.

Yes, there will be amiscarriage, Jai will hate her even more (so will the Forum), he will have a fling with Pia and what not, just to spite her. An dhe keeps on harping that Bani's eyes doesn't lie. I think he has never understood her as a person and if he really loves her, as much as he makes an issue about it, he has to travel a much longer road than he has ever thought of, as yet.

You are lucky Mr. Walia to have Bani as your wife, who is being the pawn in the chess game thats beebn going on, protecting the King, but then when have you really understood her? I at least wont have such high hopes from you.

What has Jai not done to Bani? He has insulted her, disrespected her et al. But did Bani ever speak a word against him? And even now, when it seems like Jai is far more concerned with his baby than Bani,in fact after saying their consummation was a "mistake" (a huge blow for any woman who is totally in love with a guy) and then realising her worth after she gets pregnant? So the consummation was a mistake? But he wants the baby? What does this show? 😕

There way too many Jai Walia supporters here whom I don't think Bani supporters willl ever win over. 😆But the fact is that Bani has been getting so many bad words for what? For saving the man she loves life!!
