In fact Pia seems to be the only character with a pro-active approach to life. She does realize that she has made mistakes and has hurt a lot of people. She is clear about the fact that she wants a career and is going after it. She is making use of the resources available to her and is not doing anything unethical. I know we all do not like her character but here are my observations about Pia:
She did push her way at the interview and got the job as event manager. But the bottom line is she is good at it which has resulted in profits for the company. Today it seems she is getting her own office with a personal assistant. It is not like she is goofing of because she is Bani's sister. She has the courage to deal with Jigs and Ranveer to their face and I commend her for that.
We say that she should stay independently. But then who has told her to do that. Neither Bani or Jai. Pia herself is too self-centered to realize that. If Bani is enabling her it is not completely Pia's fault.
The money for her operation. Why did Bani have to hide the truth from both Pia and Rano. She could have explained the situation and something else could have been done about it. Instead Bani deals with this on her own and completely in the wrong way.
Pia thinks Jai and Bani hate each other. Again has Bani ever confided in Pia that the situation has changed and now she loves JW more than life itself. Here again I am not supporting her making eyes at her jeeju. After all he is married to her sister so that part is a definite no-no.
I am not bringing in her personal life here - Pushkar, pregnancy,abortion issues. Those are different issues and another discussion.
I know I may get brickbats (especially from Aditee and Kumu) for saying anything positive about Pia but I think her character is more believable. We do see people like her in everyday life.
