OK... super cute film. I shall not do a movie review.. and I shall relate it to the KS as such... Meryl Streep, who was Absolutely Brilliant in this film.. is likened to shall we see Jigs! Seriously. Sans the white hair of course... but the attitude! Goodness me... Aditee... do watch...

Mou.. I loved the clothes! And Simon Baker.. is delic... lets liken RK to him huh? Perhaps a younger, GC?

I adore simon baker...i used to watch this show of his calledd the guardian...he was delic as you out it....the tortured soul...we women are such suckers...the clothes oh my god...not too impressed with anne hathway....

but meryly streep ....oh my god you forget its her when she is in a movie. such a chameleon...love her

Mou... I was thinking of something earlier today...and it got me thinking about this whole situation with the discussion of JW loving Bani as a woman or as a pedestal item for lack of a better word (Brings to mind the Madonna or Whore discussion).

Well, I was thinking,... i wonder WHAT JW Would do in a situation where some other man was interested in Bani. If he loved her for her understanding & all these "superior," reasons..would he care? Would he get jealous at the thought of another man marrying her, loving her, being with her, taking care of her.... isn't that an indication of a love thats beyond gratitude? For some reason, I can't seem to wrap my head around the discussion!

Make sense?

soap men are clueless unless you hit them on the head with a belen...just today for example...all his actions and expressions were "I love this woman will all my being dammit" and his speech was " Pia" wahhhhhhh

but to give him his due...the speech was about how everything with bani was one step beyond what he had with pia....he said it was a hawaa ka ghoka...that is bani, while toofan that destros is pia...so i think he loves bani but is afraid to admit or does not know it....also wifey is giving him a divorce...he cannot say i am madly attracted...but the looks he always gives her are killer...he sees her and stops in his tracks...never seen that with pia

Soap I know what you mean. Today I saw him give pushkar a killer look when he walked in with bani. i think JW needs a trigger like that...someone else having say over bani that will drive him nuts....he has always been shown as very possesive of her....but she has always been there so he never had to worry, and the seperation now is for something that he cannot control....i think another man will completely drive him nuts...

True Mou... although we know she's doing it for some twisted GOOD reason, we forget that he's about to be divorced. Would take a much more reasoned man than JW to be able to admit to LOVE with that going on...

but soap...everything he said today was true...bani made him understand what is important...gave him back his senses...he cannot very well say i lust after her....i also feel all through their relationship the thought that bani was going to leave after massi goes was in the back of their heads...they never got to interact openly as lovers....i think JW needs to see her in that image....pia is overtly sexy....bani is muted but he is still crazy about her.....that should get him some points
