I know we are vey very mad at Pia today and probably at Jai as well. After reading Anushka's post, I agree about her comment on Misfortune knocks on the door until you open it !
Jai may have given Pia a job based on her competency (although it is very hard to believe that...), but he only took her in his home because she is his WIFE's sister.
Looking at today's episode, one can't help but think how different these two sisters really are Bani and Pia. Married to a billionaire, madly in love with him and carrying his child but can't forgive him for what he did, Bani decides to make it on her own. In fact she could have gotten whatever she wanted. Even previously, when on that unfortunate night when Jai threw Bani and Rano out, it was a stormy night afterall, she didn't go knocking on Pia's door, she found a way totally on her own.
On the other hand, look at Pia. She is one of those people who can't survive without finding something to be unhappy about. Now she is repenting on leaving Mr. Walia but when he was in love with her (supposingly...) and wanted to marry her, she wasn't happy even then. The day the sisters and Walia family went to gurudwara, she was complaining to Pushkar that Mr. Walia doesn't even notice that she is not walking with him ! Regardless of current situation betwen her sister and Jai Walia. she has no moral right to go and work at company owned by Mr. Walia. If she is so competent, it shouldn't be so damn difficult for her to find another job.
Pushkar on other hand did what he could to save his marriage. He has tried to keep Pia happy. Tried to buy her gifts that he couldn't even afford at times. She on the other hand never even tried to get along with her family. She calls her husband a looser repeatedly. What self respecting man can tolerate that! Yes, he has had difficulty landing jobs and maintaining it due to being odds with Jai, but that has changed recently. Having enough money is a relative term... She never understood that. She expects her husband to provide her with everything, expects equality but can't be an equal partner herself in a relationship. I believe in Woman's right to choose, but a Man has his right to choose or know also.
Coming up in KS, who knows what may happen. Bani and Jai are very strong characters. I would hate them to be mutilated in exchange to lengthening of storyline. They belong together. Bani being a very self respecting woman will never get involved in Pushkar. Pushkar himself has maintianed his dignity even when things had started to smooth out between him and his mentor Jai Walia.
The silverlining for today's episode is that since Pia is now at Walia mansion, this gives a chance for Jai and Bani to interact. There are going to be misunderstandings. People like Jigyasa and Ranveer will have a field day with this news. But JB relation is going to survive this !
I am sounding cautiously optimistic as I do not want to see KS turn into a mediacore soap that it isn't
