In which category do you portray yourself? Selfish motives sometimes or always sacrificing?
My personality rating high on the feeling scale, I usually tend to sacrifice to make others smile, but hey wait on a second that doesn't mean I am all sacrificing, I have selfish motives too. I believe that doing something good establishes good karma, and your life will have a better meaning to it. Sacrifice for me is not giving up relationships for others, like K serial women tend to do for their sisters or friends, because that would mean ruining not only your own happiness but others as well, as forced relationships never work out. Forced relationships become bitter and end up being sharp thorns in our lives. Sacrifice to me is making someone smile without having to have forced it or loose something. I would probably say I fit in between both categories, somewhere in the middle.
When was the last time you were ever selfish to someone?
To say I was never selfish to someone would be an intelligent lie, unconsciously or consciously I know like most people I must have been selfish to someone. For example, I was given more hours to work this week than my coworker, because I persuaded my boss to let me. I guess that is selfish in one way, my coworker may have wanted to work the hours I was given as well.
In Kasamh Se, what character from your point of view is not selfish?
To me there are three people who are unselfish: Aditya. Aditya is always there to help people, we never really get to see what he wants, he usually wanting the best for everyone. He supports a heart broken Jai, consoles a shattered Bani, comforts and cajoles his mother, agreed to Saahil- Rano's marriage because they were in love and still treats Pia - Pushkar well. He stands to be one of the most unselfish people in Kasamh Se without sacrificing anything; he manages to help people when they need him. I could also see him standing by Jigyasa whenever she needs him. There was a scene that depicted that recently.
What is one thing that makes us different from others? (I'll tell you my opinion; it's definitely our principles from my point of view)
When looking at differences, there are a lot of things that make us different from others, but what really draws the line are what values and morals you hold, how you perceive life as, and how you live it. Morals and values define our personality and spirituality, and how we perceive life and live it define our personality. People differ in their personalities, for example: calm and gentle Bani, hot tempered and impulsive Jai, fun loving and spiritual dadi, cunning and selfish Ranveer etc
If you're loved one was to commit a mistake, and you forgive him/her for that, would it be called being egotistical or protection?
It depends on what type of mistake it is first and foremost. It will be considered egoistical if someone else was hurt by this mistake, but if you forgive your loved one for a mistake that didn't harm anyone else's life, I would consider it protection. For example: Jai forgiving Pushkar, Pushkar hurt Jai by eloping with Pia and betraying his trust and Jai did hurt Pushkar as well by taking away his home, kidnapping them etc. By no means can we measure this, but it sets a balance, now the only way they both can live happier is by forgiving one another, so that they can protect their relationships well. Pia being Bani's sister is related to Pushkar, and Jai being Bani's husband is related to Jai as well.
What is the word "self-centered" from your point of view means?
Self Centered to me means a person who degrades someone else to higher themselves. A self centered person does not necessarily need to be selfish because selfishness differs in two ways ; Being selfish to protect someone close to you or being selfish to satisfy your own needs regardless of what another feels. Self Centered to me means thinking in a closed box, not thinking out of the cubicle, thinking from one perspective always and not attempting to see another person's perspective.
What makes us perfect or are we not perfect? No one is perfect. Perfection is sought by everyone, but if the fruit of perfection reached everyone, this world would have been perfect as well. I think seeking perfection enables people to work harder, to achieve more, it's basically a drive to motivate people to work better and harder.
What message does Kasamh Se sends?
Kasamh Se sends messages of love, anger, sisterhood, sacrifices, intelligence and motherhood.
Messages of Love – Rano – Saahil got married because they loved each other. Anu – Rohit got married because they loved each other.
Messages of Anger – Jai's undeniable anger tantrums – when Pia left him heart broken justifiable yet it was a form of anger. Jigyasa's ever growing need to get angry at every minuscule thing in Bani-Pia-Rano's lives and how Jai cares for them..
Messages of Sisterhood – Bani-Pia-Rano standing by one another when needed support. When Pia ran away leaving Jai heartbroken, even having some anger for Pia, Bani stood by her to protect her sister, Rano srood by Bani through her tough tides with Jai, and then both Pia and Rano stood by her when her love tides tangled with sorrow and anger. They all care for each other and it is reflected very well.
Messages of Sacrifices – Bani marrying Jai to save Pia's honor – yea it was a glory moment for us Bani-Jai fans, but it was a mighty sacrifice. I know of none other who has sacrificed anything so far. Maybe Sonali? But it wasn't really a sacrifice Jai didn't love her, so she had to step out, though I do feel sorry for her.
Messages of Intelligence – Ranveer and Jigyasa always finding ways to manipulate situations to get Bani and her sisters into trouble. Roshni very cunningly set up a road that led to Bani finding out the truth about the Park Road incident.
Messages of Motherhood – Bani's anger towards Jai because he accidentally killed her mother yet still loving him. She was motherless because of the man she loves (or so we are shown as) Bani being a mother figure for her two younger sisters and caring for them like a mother. Jigyasa swinging between being a mother and a mother who doesn't care about her children. The Anu-pregnancy scene still creates doubts in my mind whether she cares for other children as well, or just Ranveer? When Anu's pregnancy was revealed she was more angry about Bani saving her daughter's honor than about the actual severity of the issue and about her daughter's future life.
Keep smiling...
Love
