i agree with all of you .. so true that this not that bani that we have seen in past episodes ....of kasam se
she is not acting up to mark these day .. she acted well last when she got to know about his ... pregnancy ... but she should be rocking... in episode ...where she got the news that jai is dead .. was just plain .....
i was not expecting this from her .. and from that onwards she is kind of lost ....
may be her director is happy by wat she is doing ... considering her age and her experience also ... she has just bumped in acting ..
where as ram and ashwini .. are far more matured and experienced...actors .. even pia is doing better job in last few episodes ....
i guess it could be her work load or stresss...or some one has said ....GUJU ....boy 😆
well hope that she goona rock back and show some power ful expressions on screen ....soon

I think you are right MT Prachi gives her best only when Ram is around her otherwise it is like i will complete my scene fast and i can have a nap at any corner of the set 😆

Yes, Prachi needs some sensible directing. i did point out in answer to one long q and A posts, that when Jai's being wounded and then death news came, Prachi's acting was very much below par. Was she just allowed to do scenes on her own? She needs to perk up.

The last really good performance by Prachi was in the scene where she gets to know about her Pregnancy through Jigyasa and then Jai tries to talk to her.....After that it seems like something has snapped in Prachi and she is just about as fizzy as a bottle of Coke left open for a week!

This is really surprising and very disappointing considering that Prachi is an incredible and powerhouse performer who has held episodes after episodes purely on the basis of her acting alone, without Ram around to support her! Alright, she has had her share of bad days also, but they were only when she did not have that important a role to play or she was mostly relegated to the background.....But now the entire focus of Kasamh Se is on Jai and Bani...and while Ram gives a mind-blowing performance day after day, Prachi seems to be sinking somewhere! Even yesterday, when Bani is shown to be listening to Jai over the phone, Ram was excellent in the scene, while Prachi looked as if she was listening to her Grocer telling her all that she has ordered from his store!😆 Seriously, I found her totally expressionless and zapped!

Just wondering if it is Ram who brings out the best in Prachi and whenever he is not around, as in when Ram and Prachi don't have scenes together, she seems to fizzle out and appear to be pretty ordinary and lackluster? Come to think of it, all of Prachi's best scenes have been the one with Ram, where she has given a stellar performance! I can count innumerous ones.....but if I had to pick up a couple of scenes where Prachi is either with any other character or she is alone, I would have to really rack my brain!😆 I don't think Ram has any such problem, his performance on its own is very good, with or without Prachi or anyone else around! Infact, some of Ram's best scenes have been the one where he is shown alone and is in an introspection mood or in a conversation with himself!

Either she is sorely missing Ram on the Sets (Correct me if I am wrong, she had mentioned in an interview, that she finds it very boring on the sets of KS, when the "Main Actors" are not around, the only main actor with whom Prachi has her scenes is Ram) or she went back to Surat on her 2 day vacation and fell in love with some Gujju Boy and is not able to concentrate on her work now!😆

Whatever the reason is, I just hope she bucks up and gets back to track! It is so strange to see an emotionaless and vacant Bani staring at the space and telling herself that she Loves and Hates Jai in the same breath.....It just seems that she cares two hoots for him, as per her bland expression's!🤢 Prachi is the mainstay of Kasamh Se, the soul of the Soap along with Ram, if she stops performing upto her earlier standards, then even Ram's performance will be affected because Jai's character comes out only because of Bani's.....They are totally interlinked and woven into one another.....You just cannot see Jai as a different entity from Bani!

Hope my views weren't too controversial, in no way was this intended to criticize Prachi as a person or as an actor! I just wanted to share my observation with you guys and would love to read your views and comments on it! Since most of you must have watched the Video's of the recent episodes, do you also think that Prachi is not performing upto the mark, or is it just that Bani's character is shown to be in a state of numb daze?

Very interesting observations! I have to say, that you are right, in that I also haven't been getting the depth of emotion, and that feeling of pathos that one would expect from Bani's character, via Prachi these days -- especially given what she's going through. This particular plotline in KS is perhaps the most personal for Bani's character where she's at a crossroads, and is torn between her love for the one man in her life, her child and her past. And I would have expected something more. Ok, maybe not hystrionics..please..i'd rather have a wooden performance.. but just something more.

If I took a guess... i'd say a lot might have to do with the fact that Prachi may just be burned out a bit. She's 17, she has the weight of a show on her shoulders, she's asked to do very emotional scenes. She's been stellar so far hands down.. maybe now, she's just trying to fly under the radar, and get through the scenes, till she has to really give a powerhouse performance with Ram. Who knows? As Sangita, I think it was said.. we all go through these phases in our jobs.. where we know the ropes, and we put in the minimum required to get the job done... it comes in waves....and then we get that burst of energy and revamp again. Maybe thats the case with Prachi. Maybe its as you say.. a bit of all three...She's tired, she's not being cued right, and she isn't with Ram.

Could be she gets her energy and vibe from his performance. She's a novice in the craft for all intents and purposes, no? So, maybe, without him, she can't get all the leads she needs...

Notheless, I do love them both... and when together... the better!!!

So, lets hope, he rests, she rests....and they bring us some June 19 style Dhamakedar epis!!!

wonderful analysis yep its true dat viewers aren't so much touched as much as in the past by Bani's performance but maybe something bigger is yet to happen hu nos. maybe her zentih of acting is to release soon !!!

Great nalaysis as usual. Look who is complimenting who? Well, ya I know u have the best editorials and critquings on thsi Forum. To tell you the truth I never really had any expectations from Praachi. Maybe becoz she is knew and so young. Plus I had my eyes on RK only all the time. There were a few times I did notice how sha was oing and she did a fairly decent job for example the nite he accuses her of being pregnant, the sorry afterwards etc. I wud say ona scale of 1-10 I wud give her a 5 or 6 not more.

May be she is a Meena Kumari or MD in the making, but I dont see any of it. I have seen REALLY young actors doing a fab job, not in Hindi but in Tamil movies. So her age shud not be a deterrent

Her range is limited and afterall its just a TV show!!! She ain't gettin the Oscar for it........

Or may be its the kid next door in Surat she has fallen for, or Kunal Khemu asked her out 😉

JW said it yesterday in the most romantic way possible but........... all Praachi is ever given to emote during traumatic times is "KHAMOSHI"....... She is not an actor of RK's calibre so there is only so many ways she can be khamosh?

Plus her interactions with her sisters never really seemed genuine to me......all I am rating her is on the basis of her interactions with JW/RK

i agree with you MT...there is something wrong with Prachi...i think the creative team is making her do that...i think its part of her character...being shocked and all about the raaz, being pregnant, leaving jai and his accident...i am not ready to believe that Prachi is suddenly going to start acting so bad...maybe there is a problem in her family and she can't properly concentrate on her work due to that...maybe when she went to her home down to see her dad who lives there while she and her mom live in mumbai...so i think her dad is sick or something and she is just upset abt it...i hope everthing is fine...cause we want her to start acting the way she acted before...she is a brilliant actress and she should keep up the good work...it just weird seing her acting so badly without any expression these days. 😕
