Answer to your question: Jai should have gone in and talked to bani. both of them have a habit of being in their head that cause a lot of communication gap. already Jai told bani that night was a mistake and nothing worth remembering. Now with the child she will think that the child is also a mistake for him and he has been wanting to get rid of her(all those Jai talks of a few more days till massi leaves and you will be independent) and that now he is stuck. this might very well lead her to a speech ok i hate you, my child and you have no role, a way for her to let him off the hook, something she will think he wants. they both have a bit of dual personality. all the wanting of die for each other will be forgotten in the next episode and they will retreat to theri corners thinking that the other does not want the.

So back to your question after all that rambling. i think it was Jai's turn to go in their and express his unabashed hapiness so that she had no confusion. she might have been mad but after learning the truth about the acccident she needs a bit of open unconditional love and support the kind she has been giving to him.

Question for you MT. Who tells bani that she is pregnant?

Yes he should have definately gone and told her himself. Bottom line is he knows she hates him its not going to change atleast for sometime now, but still this is their child they are talking about, one of the happiest days in their lives. Not going to see her will only reinforce bani's hatred for him and give her cause to over work her already overworked karamchand mind and conclude that since jai was not happy about the night in question itself and said it was a mistake and there was nothing worth remembering, she is going to go ahead and assume that he not being around to tell her the news is becoz he is not happy about the child too and will feel that now all the more he will be forced to be with her. This is just going to cause more misunderstandings bet them.

The other option is she gets to know thru the doc or maybe masi etc. as to how elated and excited jai is about the baby and then that would atleast leave some hope. She atleast then has to hate him only for the raaz bit and not for her pregnancy, if u know what I mean.

I think he should have gone inside and assured her that he was not going to back down from her or the baby and that he will face the music. He should have acknowledged that she took all the blame and punishment he had to met out to her previously without any whimpering for the sake of the family and he now would do the same for her.

Ya I feel he should have gone in. i would rather he tell her than anyone else especially when he is all estatic. she will remember he said that nite was a mistake so he needs to show his happiness. I know she hates him but what wrong could a baby do.
