I am with you Bani today, no matter what! I know a lot of my friends here will have their cudgels against you, but dear i do understand what u were trying to tell Jai at that time!
I am biased against both Jai and Bani but we have always expected Bani to be the matryr in this relationship. Why? Just because she committed the pain of falling in love with her husband first. 😕
In the epi prior to yesterday, Bani has showed that in any given circumtance, even when death is hovering over the lives of her near and dear ones, she will always choose to be with her loved ones, irrespective of the situation. There she was reacting to Jai being caught in that wrong situation. But yestedray, she reacted to the situation that killed her mother and stole her childhood away from her and made her age earleir than it was intended to be.
The person who died in the accident was her mother and no child will be able to take his/ her parents' death lightly. only yesterday, the enormity of the raaz has hit her hard and the fact that the person involved is the man she loves so dearly has been her undoing. I don't believe, even in my weirdest dream, that my Jai is the killer - i am sure even Bani will realise it soon, and help Jai out of this situation. What she needs is some time!
As MT has said in her post, I am sure there's some bigger game out there than this stupid secret, which Bani only did not know. And the entire thing as been manipulated to such an extent that Jai even believes this to be true. But, being the good-hearted person that he is, he has taken total responsibility of the situation and has acted as a man. And that's what i expected from him. 👏
But, if we all believe that being forgiven by Bani would be so easy, then lets all think once again. Wouldn't it be so shallow to forgive someone for such a great mistake/ accident (I won't term it as a crime). But, Bani being the girl and the golden-hearted person that she is, will definitely forgve Jai. Not only forgive, Detective Bani will get her hubby out of this heinous trap and Roshni, u just wait. This time my hunybun will give u your answer and i hope she gives u a resounding slap also.
Jai, oh Jai, now you will get to know how painful it is to bear the hatred of your loved one, especially if one is not at fault. But then, u did treat the three sisters very badly and even went to the extent of calling them P*********s when u were hurt. U didn't want to give a chance to Bani and her sisters, did you? If you were so guilty, then u should have at least treated them better. You are now at this juncture, just because your heart is on the edge of the abyss? I am sure you have by now realised what Bani means to you, but, you have to now know the pain that love brings alongwith. Bani will be with you always, no matter what, because you can only hate a person that much only if u love that person dearly. In between, there is just strict indifference.
I am very sure my HoneyBani will make me very proud of her very soon. But haila, MT, how can she get pregnant so soon? Ekta Magic, i must say!!!
Hi Sangita! Wonderful analysis again!
For some reason, even though the majority of the forum has its pointer at Bani, Im in support of her. Doesnt mean I dont support Munna. But I dont think Banis reactions are unjustified. They are totally reasonable. Its close to impossible to think as a wife in love, and as a child/sister simultaneously, in this scenario. Hence her reaction to the situation cannot be expected to be consistent.
In the last few seconds of Jais life, the only thought that occupied her mind was his life. It didnt matter whether he was a killer, a murderer or not! All that mattered was he was her husband, and she loved her husband. And if we think rationally, nothing else could have creeped in her mind for the simple reason that she had no time to think of anything else! In those 4 minutes, I bet her state of mind didnt allow her to dwell on any thought except the life of her husband. She may have heard what Jai had to say, but I doubt if she processed it! Even if she did, she knew in her mind that this was it! There was no scope for anything else. She couldnt accuse him in the last seconds of his life, now, could she? That would be ridiculous! And there was no way she was going to walk away in disgust! Because, whatever it is, she does love her husband and he was dying in front of her eyes! Her only option was to show him she loved him, and the only way she could do that was by embracing his fate-death along with him.
Now, after the blast, when Roshni came to the duo, passing those contemptuous remarks, Bani finally had the time to let everything sink in. First she realized they were alive, that her husband was alive. Then she had the time to bring back the RAAZ in focus, and finally it sunk in that her husband had killed her mother! Just imagine the chaotic frame of mind she may have been in! I for one would be devastated If I found out something on these lines...dont even want to put it in words! To top it all, the absence of a mother has affected Bani the most! Her father wasted his life intoxicated, so much so that he never may have felt the burden, he just felt his wife's absence. But Kiran's absence not only hurt Bani through out her young adulthood, but it also added physical and emotional burden on her! She had to become her sisters' safety cushion, their anchor, and their financial support. How sad can her situation get... She had no one for herself! These experiences made her resilient, but all the latent frustration of all these years had to come out at the disclosure of this RAAZ. Its absolutely human! Infact, if she had responded calmly, even after Roshni did whatever she did to provoke her feelings, I would have been baffled at her hardiness keeping in mind that she is a young woman! And women are emotional creatures, for the most part, at least.
The only thing I did not approve of today, was Bani's accusation that Jai is also responsible for her father's death! Whatever Bani! Your father was too weak a man. Sorry...but he could have handled everything better. And if he was soo in love with his late wife, then he should have been worried about her soul's peace and taken care of the three of you with the best of his abilities! Death is no excuse to give up responsibilities...
Oh yeah, another thing. Bani is a character and a character is created by the 'creative heads-story writers, directors, et al' . Bashing, criticising, appreciating a character is the same as bashing,criti..... the creator of the character and vice versa. They cannot be separated, I think. The final product is just fiction. Just a thought...We have to look at what is and not what should have been. 😃
