VOTE: SECOND ROUND FOR POETRY CONTEST!

Hello my dear KS parivaar members and KS fans:

To start with, this is an official post where you members will decide between top 5 poems by our own creative members!

Last week, I made a post where I put the top 10 poems, and I got very good response for voting in that thread!

Because the response was numerous, Me and Monika have decided to go on with a second round for voting because it is quiet hard to pick the top 3!

Listed below are the top 5 poems that got the most response from you members and I know how hard must it have been to choose the top three!

We decided to make things easier for you by making a second round voting thread for the poems!

I will list top 5 poems, in which again, you will have to pick top three!

Just to let you know how it works, here is the format in which you'll be voting ~ so please read carefully as it is recommended~

here is my poem....when jai confess his love to bani....(my fav)

YOU ARE THE THOUGHT THAT STARTS EACH MORNING,
THE CONCLUSION TO EACH DAY,
YOU ARE IN ALL THAT I DO,
AND EVERYTHING THAT I SAY.


YOU ARE A SMILE ON MY FACE,
THE TWINKLE ON MY EYE,
THE WARMTH INSIDE MY HEART,
BANI....YOU ARE THE FULLNESS IN MY LIFE.


BANI,YOU ARE THE HAND THAT'S LACED IN MINE,
AND THE COAT UPON MY BACK,
BANI,YOU ARE MY FRIEND,MY LOVE,
MY SHOULDER TO LEAN ON.


YOU ARE MY SILLY, MATURE,CARING,
THOUGHTFUL,BRIGHT,AND HONEST LADY,
THE ONE WHO HOLDS ME TIGHTLY,

Entry # 2:

welll here goes...this ones about Bani's inner turmoil
Poem one......
Where do I start this unusual tale,
Forced into a marriage which was bound to fail,
He was full of heartbreak, anguish and pain
It was my sister who his heart had slain,
She had left him in the middle of nowhere.

He needed solace and comfort from somewhere.

He had nowhere to run or hide,
But it was me that picked up the peices and stood by his side.
Although he was full of hate,
I accepted him as my unfortunate fate.
His glances towards me were full of hate and rage
I felt trapped, like a bird locked up in a cage....

But then something unusual happened,
This feeling inside me grew and tappened,
On my heart, whenever he was around,
In his presence it was desire and comfort I found.
It was like a deep breathtaking heartbeat,
When I could hear the sound of his approaching feet.

I did not realise when and how it occurred,
The feelings just awoke and were now being stirred.
Could it be I was in love....
I felt like flying, flying so high above.
He may not see me as his wife,
But I cannot express in words how this man is now my life.

To leave him i would rather die,
But instead of telling him I would rather lie
There is a hope within me that maybe some day,
This lovely man may feel the very same way...

Entry # 3:

call this....AN ATTEMPT AT LOVE

(JAI) The blissful day that you stepped into my life.....
I never thought you would become my wife!
From day one, we have never been friends....
Let us go to the mandir in my black benz
But now is the time for me to tell you
The pureness of my heart, so clean so true
O dear Bani, i love you so!
But howcome you gave Pia some of our dough??
And that Pushkar...oh man...oh man
I made him my employee when our business began
But now look at him, so sad and so mad
That Pia i didnt marry, wow im so glad!
So Bani, come here, my button is loose
That rowdy Roshni can get her own juice
Dont worry about Rano, she wont see a thing
She is out in mountains, on the tree swing
Please give me a hug, a smile, a kiss
and in your hair, my heaven exists....
Now dont turn away, my beautiful sweetu
Or i wil call Maasi, Dadi and Anu
Worry not about Ranveer, my weird nephew
He's just super jealous of me and you
So now we have finally become one from two
(BANI) What happend on Park Road...give me a clue!!

Entry # 4:

The Final Destination

As we have made this journey together
Braving both good and bad weather
This was meant to be our final destination
Perhaps the beginning of a new relation.

As my kisses wipe away your salty tears
I seem to allay all your insecure fears
You seem to know what next will happen
All our inhibitions seem to be broken

As my arms bind around your slender form
Our inner beings too seem to transform
To embrace each other in mounting passion
Our marriage seems to approach its final consummation

We were meant to be with each other.
Enveloped into the beings of one another
In your arms I shed all my inhibition
Yes, you are my final destination.

Entry # 5:

Bani standing and thinking to herself as images were appearing in her mind – (from past till present)

I came with a belief of hope in this unknown city

We needed support from my father's friend and not pity

You gave us house, work and respect in supply

Your protection gave us hope under the sky

You highlighted the niceness from within

Life was hard here, but you helped it begin

My parents might have gone far away

But still their blessings were laid on our way

I met a new buddy, a pal, a friend

Who was there for us till no end

His sweet companionship I took mistakenly for love

Yet I valued his friendship way above.

I was happy to see love letting Pia change

But Pia first saw Mr. Walia's wealth for exchange

She recovered when love was distanced

For her mind could not let her heart get convinced

Pain was showered at Mr. Walia's expense

For in his eyes I felt suffering so very intense

My sister's fault broke someone into pieces

I let him avenge at me so his anger releases

Our marriage was just a deception for the world

In which feelings of misery in us were swirled

You got relief by attacking at me

Even in grief, I was consoled by your heart's plea

Anything you did to me could be faced

But couldn't let my parent's upbringing be disgraced

My sisters are my honor, my pride

With Rano I had walked away for fate to decide

Fate bought us back together unknowingly

For Massi stepped in this house so caringly

Her caressing nature couldn't let me go

She helped to make our unwanted relationship flow

Strange things started to happen soon

There was no music of love yet I heard a tune

Emotions of care and compassion in me started to steer

For Massi made "husband-wife" come near

Everything suddenly seemed to go right

But soon Ms. Roshni came to our sight

She made me uneasy and bought element of annoyance

For what she made Mr. Walia do made a difference

I saw Mr. Walia change in front of her

Once sweet and next moment she made it transfer

Coldness was being removed in our relationship

But soon a pregnancy report happen to slip

Weapon of words killed me in an instance

Yet I couldn't give a reason to gain his acceptance

Once truth of family's honor was revealed

Mr. Walia felt guilty and his lips were sealed

I blush when his affectionate images appeared

He gave bangles which my mind has captured

Next I see him close to Roshniji

And suddenly I blast at him in my insanity

Smiles radiates on my face when he shows care

But my silly imagination leaves me in despair

I wonder the mystery behind Park Road

But haven't found linkage in his code

Two weddings are about to take place

May Lord always shower this family with His grace

Proximity between Mr. Walia and Roshniji makes me cry

And so I have decided to say this house "good-bye."

Before I could leave, my tears spoke to you

You touched me and closer we drew

The night's moon blessed us with passion

In presence of hearts was our consummation

Suddenly my life had taken another path

For in your eyes I see respect in place of wrath

The dawn of a new day allowed hopes to rise

How would my heart handle when your words would comprise

You said "I am sorry" which shook my soul

Our feelings disagreed for they were not on the same pole

You said you were ashamed of yourself and unable to bear

All I wanted to say is "I Love You"…I swear (kasamh se)!!!!
