Hey guys…

Well, I heard the songs of kites…they are brilliant…Hritik and Barbra simply look WOW!!! I don't blame Mr. Roshan if he seriously fell for that Mexican girl; she has something in her…an innate charm…

Okay, coming back to what this is about…well, Philip Roth is an American writer, quite a talented novelist, but if a commoner reads his specific books, they might just get a stroke; they are too bold and freakish to digest…a film was made on one of his stories, Elegy, featuring Sir Ben Kingsley and Penelope Cruz (she happily threw her clothes away in this, what's new in that), the story is very touching but the characters are too absurd to take it…Anyways I will try and write more subtly, I neither saw the fill or read the book, so I am spared of the horror…I don't know why actors take their job so seriously, specially Hollywood actors, why are these people so obsessed with taking off their clothes, it could have been such a heart-rendering movie if said in a delicate voice apart from showing skin all over…anyways hope you all will like it… But thanks to this I read a lot about sculpturing…which was really fascinating stuff… …

ENJOY!!!!!

Autumn Leaves … …

"Love is not love which alters when it alteration finds…"
~William Shakespeare, "Sonnet CXVI"

She heard voices, still… even those drawn curtains and closed doors couldn't contain their loudness…voices of her soul…voices of her mind…she was just a simple girl, not so typical, not a self conceited person, a person who could be judged easily, she lived to what she thought was best and good for herself… but certain things were out of bounds… …probably… …she was stupid… …

She was a loner…Bani Dixit…a single child…her sister would have been here with her if not for the fatal accident that stormy night…when her father was taking her mother to hospital for delivery…half of her life was finished…taking away her beloved parents and her unborn sister whom she started loving since the news of her arrival…she had prayed for a sister, and she somewhere knew it would be a sister…she was ten, still dealing with the idea of growing up when suddenly a catastrophe hit her life, crushing it down…from then on she had lived along with her maternal grandparents when her paternal relatives steered clear of their responsibilities, who would take the responsibility of a girl…it was an unnecessary headache and a huge burden…for the first few months of their habituating with her grandparents, some erratic phone calls would come asking about her health and studies and if any help was needed, after a few months those phones calls never came again…she was hurt, for a young girl who loved all her relatives with zest, it was scary to accept the fact that she was no longer required, that she was no longer loved…it had hit her badly…the festive ceremonies where she played with her cousins, the never-ending get-togethers she had during summer holidays, the fun and frolic of the marriage ceremonies…every memory haunted her, every beautiful moment crashed and broken… …after a few years her grandparents were also clinically dead…they didn't stop for her…and she could stop them to stay back…by now she accepted the fact that everything had to go one day or the other… …maybe that loneliness had driven her to get entangled in things which she might not have appreciated… … anyways she was happy she escaped that…it was not wrong to escape…as long as that extreme feeling of escape came with prudence…

She was trying to be happy, at the age of 26, working, independent, doing what she always loved, writing about art, travelling places… …life was fun if she chose to ignore the shadows of loneliness following her wherever she went…

Bani glided in soft steps, her high red heels making a quick click as she took small steps… she was impressed…by the display of sheer talent….the sculptures was breath-taking…she jotted down notes as she passed from one piece of exhibited work to another…she was in Goa, on her latest assignment to assess and write an art-critique on the clay sculptures of one the most sought after sculptures… Jai Walia…she had heard of him, a recluse who lived somewhere in the interiors of Goa, practically cocooned, far away from the world… but also was quite familiar with the listings of his numerous affairs, broken relationships… was it a design of nature or simply coincidence that creative people were so bizarre and outlandish…marked by eccentricities… …surprisingly for a man who didn't believe in relationships his display was tilted…"Violate Relationships"… …

She stopped as she set her eyes on the miniature model…it was of a woman, hugging herself, her face bowed, hidden in her chest…she somehow saw herself in that mound of clay… alone, insecure, trying to escape… for a moment she stood transfixed….

"Hello Miss. Dixit…" one of her acquaintances greeted her…

"Mr. Seth…pleasure meeting you…" bani exclaimed…he was an art-dealer, mainly involved in the import, export and selling of artifacts… …

"The pleasure is all mine pretty lady…" he smiled at her indulgently… …

It was her laughter…almost un-lady like…a frothy, boisterous, deep laughter…it took him great difficulty to contain his curiosity to just turn his head and look out for that sonorous ring… the voice reverberated in his ears…it remained with him, in his ears, in his mind, in his heart… …

"Here is the man of the moment…" Mr. Seth called out, tapping him on his shoulder…

"Good evening Mr. Seth…" jai smiled, throwing a glance towards his attractive companion…

"Jai…you must meet this wonderful lady…" Mr. Seth said…

"Bani Dixit…she writes about art…and…" before he could finish his customary introduction bani spoke up…

"Jai…Jai Walia…" she smiled extending her hand…jai shook her hands, holding on languidly…

"Can I have my hands back Mr. Walia…?" Bani said quirkily…she could clearly see he was attracted to her…it didn't deter her…she had had many such encounters…

"Not before I greet them properly…" jai grinned, lifting her palm…placing a slight peck…

"You both carry on…I will catch up later…" Mr. Seth excused himself… …

"Shall I get you a drink…" jai offered…

"Umm...champagne would do…" she said…

"So…do you like it???" jai asked as they strolled together, round the gallery again… … people were leaving… it was almost night… …the humming music kept on playing in the backdrop… …

"There is always scope for improvement…"bani said, looking at him…he groaned inwardly…he had never met a more lethal combination…beauty with brains and wit… …he was enjoying it… …

"Ha!! But still…" he insisted…

"Ah!!That you can get to read next week, in the magazine issue…"

"Well, I don't read magazines…?"

"Okay…I think they lack more sensitivity…" bani said honestly…

"Sensitivity…" jai uttered…surprised…

"Yah!!! It's not always about depicting something…there is beauty in concealing as well…"

"Just like your eyes…" he said standing still gazing into her honey colored eyes…bani averted her gaze…

"It's getting late…I must get back to the hotel…" bani fidgeted with her purse…

"We are meeting tomorrow…for coffee…" he said causally…

"I am busy…"

"Everyone has time for coffee…at 6…the caf near the beach…I will be waiting…" he said leaning forward, dropping a feather like kiss on her cheek… …

"I am not coming…" she said firmly, turning around…

"You are coming…" saying… he smiled to himself… …

God!!! He was sexy…dark…dangerous…that sense of the untamed just barely suppressed below the surface…she didn't expect him to be like that, she thought he would be some old, haggard lunatic…but to her shock he was quite young, okay if 36-37 was called being young…his face shuttered and impossibly handsome…his dark grey eyes seemed to hold all the mysteries in the universe, a long nose that flared slightly in between his brusque baritone speech...the features of his face seemed to be carved from stone...she couldn't miss the combustible…sizzling attraction…which exploded amongst them…it was too consuming to handle… …the way his eyes lingered on her…she could feel the heat… … bani tossed in her comfy bed… … She would be lying to herself if she told that she didn't have dreams…if she told that her night was dreamless…in fact she had dreams…quite a lot…endless…throughout her sleep…dreams till where a woman's imagination could stretch to…she had dreams of him…dreams of her…dreams of him making passionate love to her… …she got up frantically hustling towards the bathroom…a wave of pain shot through her chest… …she turned on the tap, splashing water over her face, wetting her front…the pain didn't go away…she breathed heavily… …

Jai whistled lowly, tapping on the wooden table, looking handsome as ever in a pair of jeans and white shirt…his life was nothing to be proud of…at least his childhood and youth weren't…he was six when his mother had left, a day after his sixth birthday party… those arguments, those loud screams, those crashing glass vases… those sounds still haunted him… …his father had moved on too soon, bringing different women home…he never heard from his mother, she had tried to take him away but his father hadn't let her…he was neither sad nor happy about it…he almost grew up on his own…did things on his own, be it the right or wrong… sculpturing had always fascinated him, he loved his art & craft classes in school…the creative bent in him always wanted to do something new…making sculptures was his first love… …women came secondary…and always remained secondary…he was simply driven by the lust…he could never bring himself to love any of them, it was only the physicality of it all which inspired him… …

"How many women have you met here…???" bani's question startled him…she looked stunning in a floral print sleeveless frock which reached up to her knees… exposing her curvy legs and creamy hands… he laughed out throatily…

"I dreamt about you…" he said not removing his eyes from her face…

"Really???" bani said leaning back… …

"Yes…ask my sleepless eyes…" he smirked…bani broke into a chuckle, he was certainly very charming… …

"Can we order…?" bani asked looking for the menu…

"Ya sure…"

"You have an interesting face…the jaw line…the nose…" he said as they walked down the sandy beach…

"Can't you stop flirting even for a second…?" bani rolled her eyes…

"Well, when I say the truth women think I am flirting, when I am actually flirting, they think I am being truthful…strange…" he shrugged his shoulders in confusion…

"That was such a chauvinistic statement…" bani glared at him… …

"Truth is bitter…"

"Tell me…I mean you were never serious with any woman till now…"

"No…"

"And me???" she arched her eyebrow…

"I don't think so…" he said honestly…

"And still you believe I will jump into bed with you…" she said sounding aghast…

"There is nothing wrong in giving a try…" he said with a sheepish grin…

"I can't believe you…you are so sick???" she marched ahead…

"Look, I am attracted to you…you are attracted to me…then why bother bringing this love and all that shit in between…simply enjoy life…"

"Don't you feel guilty…someone or the other might have loved you…what was it like breaking her heart…" bani said throwing a sharp accusing glance towards him…who looked visibly amused…

"I don't know…" he said plainly without much thought…actually he never analyzed that part… safely avoided it…and by default he had an under-developed conscience…much to his delight…

"Great!!!" bani mocked him, speeding ahead…

"Why are you getting angry…?" he asked walking behind her…she was quite agile unlike most women who too their own sweet time to walk like ramp models… …

"I am not angry…just upset…" bani said…

"I can't help it…men are like that…scientists have proved it…" jai said finding logic…bani laughed out…in her usual caricaturized laugh which drew his attention to her again… …

"You guys are impossible…" she laughed more…

"Then why do you try…just accept it…" he spoke, quite embarrassed by her guts to make him into a laughing stock…

"Yes...yes…"she tossed her head in approval, certainly being sarcastic about the whole idea…

"You are an amusing…woman bani…" he said after a slow pause…

"I know…" she replied with…winking at him… …

"It's awesome…" bani uttered awestruck by the intricate stain glass windowpanes and the magnanimous Church, Bom Jesus Cathedral…

"This place has always inspires me…" jai said roaming around the familiar area…it had been almost a decade he was living in Goa…even though he had travelled many parts of the world but still he returned back to this place… …he kept looking as bani kneeled down before the huge statue of Jesus Christ…folding her hands, uttering a small prayer…her face portrayed a contentment as well as a lament… he never believed in the existence of God… …he stood outside waiting for her to come out… …

"What did you ask for…?" he asked as she walked down the steps…

"Don't you think it is wonderful when you don't ask for nothing and surprisingly you get something…the happiness is so thrilling…?" bani smiled brightly… …

"Usually people do ask…???" jai said puzzled…

"Maybe…I guess I asked for forgiveness…" bani said, stopping abruptly…her eloquent eyes had a story of their own to narrate…

"For what???" he asked sitting beside her on the partially broken brick lane, overlooking the golden beach…she kept quiet…looking at the setting sun… …

"Why are you sad bani…???"

"I am not sad…I am…" bani felt at loss of words… …his endearment frightened her, she looked into his eyes, there was nothing in them…not even the desire which he openly confessed of having towards her… …

"Say it…you will feel better…" he pressed her palm…she looked down…

"I…I was involved with someone…"

"He left you…" jai added…bani shook her head…

"He was a married man…" she whispered… …remembering how foolish she was to actually find love in the wrong place…in the wrong person…

He was one of a kind man indeed, blessed with everything every girl got attracted & a guy who is full of sincere and passionate love that lasts for a lifetime that every girl ever dreamed and longed for. He was the first one to enter her lonely life…she was love struck for him…They had known each other for almost over a year already since they had met at a common friend's place…There was a strange feeling for both of them from then on, at first it was so hesitant for her to accept what she was feeling for him, he started to express his feelings with her, usually giving compliments in every good thing he saw in her. As the days went in a jiffy…she had started liking him a lot…it was a simple companionship but to her shock it was leading them into a deeper relationship…it was only after about six months of friendship they had their first date… it was nothing fancy… they watched a movie, ate together, and he had kissed her before dropping her off…and a few days later she came to know that he was married and that his wife was expecting…she was heartbroken…but it was too late to revert… …the feeling was so intense by then that it was impossible for her to tear herself apart from him…Even though she knew their relationship is really wrong, but the feelings weighed much more than the thought of guilt…it never bothered her…instead she felt much more excited and thrilled about their affair against all odds affair…She never demanded for his love and affection, she taught herself already that she had to be contented on any given time he had for her…she didn't need to compete nor to compare his love for her and to his family…A few stolen moments was all that they had because she knew he owed his time, his love, his attention and specially his heart for his beloved wife and child. She was fully aware on this kind of love they had. She knew how much he loved and cared for his family, she knew also that she was the least of his priority but she knew for sure that she was the first person he turned to whenever he was feeling down and needed someone to be with and vice versa...He was a courteous gentleman and a very passionate lover, he treated her really special and she felt very flattered about his actions & appreciated every little thing he did her. She treasured every moment that they had, the feelings they had for each other was very hard to explain yet so easy to express and be shown. Their intimate moments were, exciting, thrilling, worried, and nervous, guilty, and intense, that was the first time she must say she felt she had butterflies in her stomach because of the unexplained feelings she had inside…She had never thought that she would come into this more complicated relationship… She knew the rules of forbidden love, nut it was unable for her to easily escape just in case when the time would come that they have to reach the end and no other way for them but to let go…and that moment had arrived when she had to finally let him go… …there was nothing exchanged…not even good byes…

"Whenever I think of his wife…I feel ashamed that I broke her world…she was an innocent woman but I had somewhere destroyed a part of her life through my actions… … and his child… it scares me to even think what would have happened if I had not left him…"

"You loved him…" he asked…

"I don't know…I was too scared to think about anything…I just needed him too much… …"

"You must be glad you came out of it…you were strong enough…"he assured her…

"Might be…I want to forget it…" bani said with determination… …

"Hey…it's okay to do mistakes…as long as you do them with audacity…" he said…making her break into a chuckle… …

"That really helps…" bani smiled… …

"Okay enough about me…Where do you live…???" bani asked turning to face him…

"Margao…"

"Do you want to come…?? It's a nice place…" he said… …

"I would love to…" she got up…

The fields were flush and green, with a generous sun beating down on the countryside. The trees were all scarred guarding the confined hamlet surrounded by telltale palms…tiny huts flanked by a grove of bamboo…the rivulets haggled with boatmen carrying their fishing nets…The town was small, just a few blocks of houses that faded away into a jumble of shacks, shanties and other hut-houses; beyond, the path wound through dense patches of forest and towering, tangled thickets of tall grass. The surrounding hills and crags were of strange, twisted shapes; they sat upon the plains like a bestiary of gargantuan animals that had been frozen in the act of trying to escape from the grip of the earth...the sound of the sea echoing from all directions… …The historic city of Margao still exhibited the cultural influence of the Portuguese, who first landed in the early 16th century as merchants, and conquered it soon thereafter which lasted for about 450 years until it was annexed by India in 1961… …it was about half an hour walk down the main road that they reached jai's villa… it was built of logs of wood and bricks of stones… it was an open space…with the villa resting on a small elevation… …

"It's beautiful… …" bani whispered as she closely watched his house…there was only clay she could find everywhere…lots of finished pieces arranged haphazardly…some unfinished ones lying unattended… …a potter's wheel spinning in a corner…blocks of stones, chunks of wood…knifes of all shapes and sizes, types of chisels, paintings of varied forms hung on the walls like a huddled overcrowded mob… but she loved everything… …

"I simply love this place…" she said with bubbling enthusiasm… …

Kites in the sky...

I want to fly with you tonight
Kites in the sky soaring together
Lovers forever... forever is a lie
Who holds the twine in his hands
What has destiny planned
Will the heart understand
Kites in the sky soaring together
Lovers forever... forever is a lie
This love is killing me
I can feel it but why cannot touch it
I want to fly with you tonight
Let me enjoy this moment
Kites in the sky lovers forever

{Movie: Kites}

"So, what's your favorite art-piece…?" jai asked sipping his strong drink, bani settled for a milder drink, drowning the second glass of wine, she sat crouched on the sofa, with her legs pulled up, on the opposite side to him… …

"I hope it's my creation…" he joked…bani stuck out her tongue… …

"Noo…Oh!! There are many… …Henry Moore Large Arch, the sand-cast in bronze in Oslo…I think its brilliant… …then "The Dying Gaul" in marble…the carvings of Ajanta and Ellora… Giambologna Rape of the Sabine Women…its breath-taking… …and of course… Michelangelo's Piet… …lastly"The Woman" you made…"

"You know Michelangelo was only 24 when he sculptured Piet…isn't that great …" she kept on talking until her words died out as she heard his sudden voice…

"You have lovely feet…" he remarked coming closer…running his fingers on the slope of her foot…she was rendered speechless for a moment…their gazes locked for a brief second only to be halted by the rumbling of the sky…the clouds had gathered….

"It's going to rain…you better get back to the hotel…" he said trying to control himself… somewhere bani affected him in an unceremonious way… a way he didn't like to be affected… … bani watched him with dreamy eyes…feeling ticklish by his simple caress… …

"I want to stay here…" she whispered…gulping down the remainder of her drink…straightening down her legs…his hand inched above…maneuvering around her slender ankle…stroking the length of her leg…pressing at her thigh…he came over her… kissing her lips which were wetted with wine… …she moaned as her arms wound around him… …the tasting smell of wine aroused him…he gradually undid the buttons of her blouse and tossed it off her shoulders…in a ballet of naive exhibitionism, she arched her back and lowered her arms to allow the blouse to fall off…causing her achingly swollen br**sts to spill out excitedly against him...they were hardening with a burgeoning swell as he undid her b*a…she shuddered as she heard him glower in need...she almost let out a scream as his lips crashed onto hers capturing her mouth with a hungry urgency... savagely searching her mouthparts, she parted her lips fully urging him to absorb her, her hands busy undressing him...his calloused fingers dug into her bare waist as he pressed himself on top of her... his tongue circled and curled dancing with hers darting repeatedly inside her mouth...her fingers ran over his wide muscled chest and the rippling muscles below... he clenched her stomach writhing in torment as his hand impatiently slithered down her navel, pulling down her skirt…her nails scathed his fine musculature hair-encircled male ni**les as he entered her gliding upward, deep inside her...her agonized gasps rushing in and out muffled up with his uneven frenzied inhales...in a wild response she brought her knees up clenching him hard... …

The morning light flooded in…bani lay on her stomach, her one hand dangling down the edge of the bed…her legs angled at an awkward position…she looked fetching…unclad and bare… jai ran his palm over the slender bent of her back…he had never felt so much while having s*x…she had managed to overpower his senses… she was sleeping like a log…unhindered… he got up feeling exhausted…his mind preoccupied by their rampant coition, once on the couch and twice on the bed…the rainy night was ongoing… …

By the time bani cared to open her eyes it was way past morning…she turned around…feeling the unfamiliar bed…the smell of the coffee distracted her as she saw jai enter the room, only in his bottoms…she didn't make any effort to cover herself…

"I don't remember much…" she grouched…sitting upright… her styled hair completely messed up…she stifled a yawn…

"Did we…?" she asked, her thin eyebrows pressed together scrutinizing the nail marks on his body…

"Yep!!" he said handing her a mug of freshly prepared coffee…

"Ahh!!!" she snorted making a disapproving noise…

"I must confess I never had such a breath-taking experience…ever…" he whispered close to her ear, fingering her navel…she broke into childish giggles…sipping the coffee…

"How about I remind you…what we did last night…??" he said in a husky voice, pushing back her brown streaked hair, placing kisses along her shoulder… …

"I will miss my flight…" she said glancing at the clock…

"Why don't you stay here for sometime…?" he suggested…

"Jaii…I thought you weren't serious…" she said, throwing a questioning look at him…

"I am not…a few days won't hurt…"

"How many women have you slept with…here…in your bedroom…?"

"You are the first one to enter my house…" he replied…restlessly twisting a lock of her hair round his finger…she tittered lowly…suppressing her bubbling laughter…

"Stop laughing…I am telling the truth…"

"Yes of course…!" she uttered with a plastered grin bending, her tongue licked the red notches on his skin, made by her… …

"Love is no respecter of age or practicality
neither morality: unabashed
she enters where she will
Unheeding that her immortal fires
Burn up human hearts..."
~Phillip Pulfrey…

It was a night of full moon…some melodious notes of an untiring strange bird concealed within the thick foliage of an old tree…floated in…penetrating through the open French window through which the gusty wind blew in and out playing with the curtains… …His mood was that of as evening breeze which played about a favorite flowering shrub, gently shaking her now this side, now that, in the hope of rousing her to animation…but bani lay motionless, looking out of the open window, with eyes immersed in the moonlit depth of the never-ending space beyond…his caresses were lost on her…At last he clasped both her hands, and, shaking them gently, said…

"What are you thinking??" a patient search through a big telescope would reveal what she was thinking… …bani turned her eyes from the void of space towards him, and said slowly…

"What if I am not like this…???" bani asked in measured words… …his forehead lined with creases…he looked at her… and detected no trace of surprise in her features…she merely buried her face within the fold of the blanket, and, with all the strength and intensity of her soul, wished that she could then and there melt into nothingness. Endless were the beauties of the earth-but Alas, how easily everything was twisted out of shape…She was thinking, perhaps, that the love which seemed to fill so much of one's life, which brought in its train such fondness and depth of feeling, which made even the briefest separation so exquisitely painful and a moment's union so intensely sweet, which seemed boundless in its extent and eternal in its duration, the cessation of which could not be imagined even in births to come…that this was that love! So feeble was its support! No sooner does the reality touch it then that "eternal" love crumbles into a handful of dust… …

Only a short while ago he had whispered to her…

"What a beautiful night!"

The same night was not yet at an end, the same bird was still warbling, the same south breeze still blew into the room, making the curtains shiver; the same moonlight laid on the bed next the open window, sleeping like a beautiful heroine exhausted with gaiety… All this was unreal…Love was more falsely dissembling than she herself… …

"Do you want to say something…" he brought her face closer to his…viewing her intensely…he had always felt she was hiding something… …

"You know…you have beautiful eyes… …" he whispered…

"Your eyes…they hold secrets…" he continued… …

"And I love those secrets…wanting to be told…"

"Maybe I don't want to tell them to you…" she interrupted him…

"I still love them…"

"Tell me…What if I was different…??? What if I looked different…?" she stressed her words…

"I don't understand…"

"Ohhh!!Leave it…I was just being silly…" she smiled exuberantly…kissing him…

It was late into the night… bani was still wakeful…watching his sleeping form with admiration… …

"I love you…" she whispered over his face…snuggling closer, a sharp spasm rested in her chest, she fell asleep containing it…he opened his eyes…not least bit surprised to hear those words…he knew he would break her heart, he dared to analyze that for the first time…but it seemed she was ready to take that heart-break… …he closed his eyes and sighed… …they were like autumn leaves…ready to fall apart and blown away by the west wind…travelling to unknown places without will… …

There was no trace of her the next morning… …he didn't try to search for her…this was bound to happen… …that's why he never got himself entangled in emotions… …but bani's departure left him unhappy and alone …he felt lonely for the first time ever… …and he hated that feeling…that wretched feeling…he lost inspiration too… …as if his life was devoid of something… …

6 Months Later… …

A phone call disturbed his already frenzied mind, he had not been able to eat, drink, sleep or just sculpture properly…wherever he went he saw her face…even his room stored memories of her pleasured moans…her soft, husky voice calling out his name like a hymn…it was too much to tolerate… …before he could understand anything he was sitting in the plane flying to Mumbai…bani…it was a message sent on her behalf… …

Jai paced through the long, never-ending corridor…the stringent smell of the hospital making him feel heady… and moreover his heart sunk thinking of any bad which might have happened to bani…

"Bani Dixit…" he croaked…

"Are you Jai Walia…?" she asked after checking a few things on her computer…

"Yes…" he breathed heavily…

"Wait a minute sir….Dr. Sharma will guide you…"the receptionist said…and told him the direction towards the doctor's cabin…

"That's why she asked me to contact you…she wants to speak to you once…before she leaves for Canada…" the doctor said not able to decipher the expressions on the man seated in front of him…his face was ashen but devoid of anything else… covert in blankness… ….

"When…how??" were the only two words that escaped his mouth…

"Almost seven months ago…she knew it…and had agreed to get treated after she came back form goa…"

Jai simply got up…walking blindly towards the room where bani was recuperating…with a lump in his throat he opened the closed door…only to be greeted by twinkling eyes…he realized he was not ready to face those beautiful eyes which held secrets which he loved…how ironic??? The same secret shattered him today… …she smiled at him lazily… though the strong medicines and therapy sessions wearied her but still the beauty of her smile was intact… …

"I am glad you came…" she uttered softly… …his gaze dropped down, her chest was flat…the cancer had ruined them…

"I missed you…" she spoke tars filling her eyes…he walked towards her… …climbing into the hospital bed… …gently kissing her face… …

"I am here…" he said burying his face in the crook of her neck… …making her cry out like a child… …

End... ...

God bless

Wow Dhani, talk about looking into the lives of two people.

Simply a superb story.

You've done a great job keeping the whole cancer issue to the end and

not let it over shadow the whole story, even though the signs were there, that

something was wrong with Bani.

Love the fact Bani told Jai she ask for nothing but surprisingly got

something when he ask her what she prayed for.

Nice to see you back, your presence is always a welcome sight.

Wow, Dhani
This was wonderful. I loved the end. I realized that she was sick in the beginning when she held her chest, but I woul never have guessed that shewould have breastcancer. Bani's lonelynes, her pain when she realized that she wasnt remembered by her family was described so well. It was just sheer beauty!!!
Loved it completely!🤗

Wow Dhani a totally different and unexpected story from you. Bani, a loner who is aching for a relationship in life and Jai who never believes in love. Differently narrated by you.

Love the way how he flirts with her and there's so much attraction between them. I never expected the cancer part - it came as a shocker but the ending was touching and emotional.

Once again a very beautiful story, Dhani. Thank you.

Hi
This is something that was penned so beautifully. I felt for Bani towards the end A chance for final happiness may be still there. She has Jai with her and hope he still will there during her bad times. In fact I loved it more than teh movie. I liked Ben Kingsley in it more than Cruz. But here Jai was really wonderful.

very beautifully written and touching story..
Feel so sorry for Bani, so many bad things happened to her, her family, the cancer..
But then she found Jai and hopefully he'll be with her forever..
